Possessive Companions
Chapter 62

Darrel started scrolling through the file page until he arrived at the last page, right on the girl's photo.

Degs...

Darrel's body stiffened. His eyes are inseparable from the photos displayed on the laptop screen.

"A-Aurel," he muttered softly.

Ever since reading the girl's name in the file Darren gave, he had already felt an uncertain feeling. He wanted to think that the name belonged to Aurel. But he was afraid that his hopes were wrong. He also did not have time to read all of it.

"In-he Aurel, Dad." Darrel. His eyes began to glaze over as he looked at his father. And without waiting for everyone to react, Darrel grabbed his car keys and walked out.

He drove his car to the cafe, where Aurel worked. Darrel's car quickly shortened the time to get there.

"Your master..."

"Where's Aurel?" Darrel immediately cut the greeting of a cafe waiter.

"Miss Aurel didn't come in. She's..."

Without hearing the woman's words, Darrel left immediately. He drove his car to Aurel's house. He also did not stop contacting Aurel.

"Sorry your number..."

Foetish... Tutt.. Foeto.. Darrel turned it off. He threw his phone at the side chair. He was so scared that he couldn't think clearly.

After a while, Darrel arrives at Aurel's house. He got out of the car and walked quickly into the house. Ignoring all the greetings of the guards and servants there.

"Aurel!"

"Aurel!"

Darrel kept shouting while running up the stairs. He pushed open the door to Aurel's room, but found no one inside.

"Aurel!"

"Young master," The voice of a servant made Darren turn his head. He quickly approached the waiter.

"Where's Aurel?"

"Miss's been out since this morning."

"Where'd he go?"

"No idea, sir. Miss didn't say where she was going."

"What's? You don't know where he's going?"

"Sorry, sir." The waiter looked down.

"Did he bring a bodyguard?"

"N-no, sir."

"You don't know where he is, and you don't bring guards? What's the point of me hiring you?!" Darrel's really pissed.

He tried to quell his anger and left the servant. As he arrived in front of the house, he glanced at each of his guards with a glare.

"If anything happens to her, you're in charge!" He said as he passed each of his guards. Make everyone gulp their saliva rough

Darrel returns to drive his car. He knew where to look for Aurel now. There's only one place, the apartment.

After traveling nearly thirty minutes, Darrel arrived at the apartment. He immediately entered the elevator to the floor where his apartment unit was located.

The elevator stops and Darrel goes to his unit. He took a breath and tried to calm down. He did not want to rush and surprise Aurel. Slowly, he knocked on the door of the apartment and pressed his bell.

Geck... Geck... Geck...

"Who?"

Sahutan from the inside makes Darrel feel happiness. He again heard Aurel's soft voice which he had not heard for several days.

Geck... Geck... Geck... Darrel knocked back.

While inside, Aurel began to feel annoyed. Legs tingling. He will open after his feet are fine. But, someone out there keeps knocking.

Geck... Geck... Geck...

"Wait!" His shouting. "Ck. Good thing it's gone." Mumbled Aurel. The girl stood up and walked slowly while feeling the remnants of her tingling.

"There's that..." Aurel's words instantly hung as she opened the door. His eyes glazed over as he looked at Darrel in front of him. He was about to close the door again, but Darrel held him back and entered immediately.

Gree...

"Take me off! Let go of me, Darrel!" Shouted Aurel. Her tears had washed her cheeks.

"I'm not going to let you go!" Reply Darrel. He was getting his embrace.

"You're evil! You're mean to me, Darrel! Just go! I don't want to see you again!"

"Aurel..."

"I beg you, go Darrel! Go!" Aurel's speech was weak. With her cheeks continuously soaked in tears, Aurel placed her chin on Darrel's pudak. His hand began to stretch out hugging Darrel with a sob still heard.

"You're bad, Darrel. You're evil." Her speech. His hands were hugging Darrel. He missed that guy. Missed her scent, which made her suffer so much for almost a week. Missed everything about Darrel.

"I know, I'm evil. I am evil. But, I beg you, Aurel. Don't tell me to leave. Don't tell me to leave you. Leaving our son."

Degs...

Aurel's heart was like it was sliced to hear the word "our son" coming out of Darrel's mouth. Darrel thinks the baby is his son, but he doesn't deserve that kindness.

Aurel took off her embrace. He lowered his head, unprepared to see Darrel.

"You don't have to admit it as your son. You are not guilty. Think of your family. I can meet the needs of my son's life later even without the figure of a father. You don't have to take responsibility for things you don't do."

"Look at me!" Darrel touched Aurel's chin gently and forced the girl to look at him.

"Look! I have the right to be responsible for you and the child you bear. He's my son. I'm his father. I was the bad guy that night. The one who made you like this."

Aurel glared her eyes hearing that reality. "You mean..."

"Yes. I was the one who harassed you that night. I'm the one who pulled you into the hotel room. I forced you to do that. I'm..."

"Stop, Darrell!"

"Aurel's. I know, it was a bad thing for you. I'm sorry. I was on the drug at the time. Ii'm sorry. Let me take responsibility. I'm gonna marry you. We're getting married."

"Do you want to take my son?" The question was suddenly thrown from Aurel's mouth.

"What do you mean?"

"You want to marry me because of your responsibility towards this child. Marriage without love does not end well. I'm just an ordinary woman with a chaotic family background. No one can help me to fight your family's strength when a breakup happens. My son will definitely live with you." Aurel. Tears rolled back her cheeks.

"Darrel, hiks. I've lost everything. I gave up everything that happened to me. I've forgiven you. But, please. Don't take my son. Don't separate us, hiks."

"Aurel's. What are you thinking? There is no farewell. There's only marriage. We'll be together. We will take care of our children together. About feeling... I love you, Aurel."

"You don't have to pretend like this, Darrel."

"I'm not pretending. I seriously. I love you, Aurel. Loves you so much. My feelings have been around for a long time. When I met you again, I was so happy. I want to stay close to you and see you. Therefore, I asked the hotel manager to fire you."

Aurel is shocked to hear Darrel's confession. "You..."

"Yes. I asked the hotel manager to fire you. But I didn't tell him to scold you until you cried. I went back to scolding him after that. Aurel, I was so happy when you decided to come back with me. I always wanted to express my feelings. But, I don't want you to get hurt when you find out, I did something to a girl. I ruined a girl's life. I always fight with my thoughts and feelings. I've been looking for him since. And today, I just found all the information. I'm sorry, Aurel."

Aurel was silent. Her tears kept on dripping without wanting to stop. Aurel rubbed his tears rough. But still, her tears fell back.

"Aurel's. Listen to me!" Darrel grabs Aurel's two hands, then kisses him long ago. He looked at Aurel's face. "Trust me, Aurel. I love you so much. I'm sure you love me too. We're gonna raise our kids together."

Aurel's defense is weak. He admits, he loves Darrel. But, does he deserve a Darrel Alvero, the second young master of the Grisam family?

Aurel looked down at his hand that Darrel was holding. "Darrel, hicks... I do love you. But, I'm not a person worthy of you. My family is not what it used to be. We're already ruined. I'm not pan..."

"Sttitle..." Darrel put his index finger on Aurel's lips. "Don't say that. My family doesn't look at people by their social status. The heart is the main thing." Darrel.

"Now, will you come to my house? Dad, Mom, Alisha and Darren are waiting. The others too."

"Darrell..."

"Even if you refuse, I will still take you. If I hadn't brought you in, my father would have done it. You ever hear of my father?"

Aurel gulped his saliva. He heard a lot about Darrel's father. From the story alone, he knew how the character of Darrel's father was. Plus, she was pregnant with the descendants of Grisam. He would definitely not be able to escape from that family.

"Well-well. I'll go with you." Aurel. Darrel smiled and immediately kissed Aurel's forehead. Then, he gently rubbed Aurel's hair as he looked at the woman's expression.

"Don't express pressure like that."

"I'm scared, Darrel."

"My family won't eat you. There's me anyway. You take it easy."

Aurel nodded. After that, he and Darrel walked together out of the apartment, and headed to Gara's residence.
