Possessive Companions
Chapter 28

Darrel rested his back on the back of the sofa. He stared at the food Aurel had brought. The clock indicates 9 o'clock. Breakfast time was missed. Darrel grabbed the food and wanted to eat it. However, his movement of scooping the food into the mouth stopped as his phone shook.

He grabbed it and looked at the contents of the incoming message.

Alisha.

Don't forget, sister, order Alisha.

^^^Darrel. ^^^

^^^Yes. Brother will buy it. ^^^

Alisha.

Her photo.

Alisha sent me a photo showing the food.

^^^Darrel. ^^^

^^^Ck. Don't send me the picture. ^^^

^^^ The name is enough. ^^^

Alisha.

Afraid that I forgot his name.

Just show me the picture.

^^^Darrel. ^^^

^^^Iya-iyas. ^^^

Alisha.

Thanks, Sis.

^^^Darrel. ^^^

^^^Yes, equally. ^^^

Darrel put the phone on the table. Then he took his breath. He almost forgot Alisha's order. Fortunately, the little girl reminded him. If not, he will go home without taking his order. And of course, Alisha will sulk at him.

"I was so focused on Aurel that I forgot Alisha's order." Darrel Gumam. He grabbed his food and put it in his mouth. His voice stopped as he remembered something. His appetite instantly disappeared and ignored the food just like that.

"I also forgot, if I had to monitor the search for the girl." His mouth murmured with a blank look looking forward.

Her heart ached as she recalled what she had done to a girl that night. Now, he must find her and take responsibility.

"What should I do now?" Mumbled. His eyes were filled with burden and worry.

Darrel took a rough breath, then grabbed the phone and exited the room. He tries to calm his mind by going to the place where Alisha's order is sold.

His steps stopped when he arrived at the hotel lobby. His gaze was sharp as he watched Aurel being snapped at by a man he knew was the hotel manager. Darrel stepped quickly closer to them.

"Sir, don't fire me, sir."

"Can't! You've made a mistake. The person in room 1023 complained about the food you brought. Food's stale. What is this evidence lacking to fire you?! Huh uh?! Do you want to ruin the reputation of this hotel?! Huh huh? You're..."

"You don't have to yell at him." Darrel instantly pulled Aurel in his arms. His eyes were still staring at the hotel manager. Makes the man tremble to see it.

The second young master of the Grisam family. Why is he looking at me like this? Didn't he ask me to fire Aurel so he can take her away? Why does he seem to want to kill me now? Inner of the man.

Two receptionists who saw the incident were also shocked. They did not believe, Aurel had such great luck that he could be embraced by a son of the Grisam family.

"Can you not yell at him?" Darrel's low voice was so cold.

"Pardon me, sir. But, he made a mistake."

Darrel snorted small. He took his eyes off the man, then gently rubbed Aurel's hair.

"Come," Aurel nodded and walked out with Darrel. In the parking lot, a man in a bodyguard uniform stands beside the car and looks down on Darrel. He was one of the guards of the Grisam family who worked under Ben's rule, which spread across the city.

"Young master," he said.

Aurel looked at Darrel who returned the greeting with a confused look. He knew Darrel was the son of a distinguished family. But, he did not know, which family his best friend came from. There are many families in the city where he used to live. There are even those known by the entire community of the country and also other countries.

"Come, you go in first. There was something I forgot in the room. You wait for me in the car."

"But..." Aurel's speech was interrupted just like that because Darrel had already darted into the hotel. Aurel could only catch her breath.

"Please, miss." The guard opened the door and let Aurel in.

The girl smiled awkwardly. "Thank you, please." Reply, then get in the car.

Darrel walked quickly to the reception desk. He looked at the two female employees.

"Where's your manager?"

"In his room, sir."

Darrel went straight to the manager's room. He knocked on the door and entered when he heard the order to enter.

"What are you doing? Why are you yelling at him? You see? She's crying."

"I'm sorry, sir. I just try my best. To be honest, I also could not bear to yell at and accuse him. He always does his job well. But, I have to do it so that everything goes smoothly and she doesn't feel weird about my attitude."

Darrel took his breath. He then rubbed his face rough. "Goddessa... If I don't think you're helping me, I've ruffled your room." Darrel. "But thank you for trying your best."

"Yes, young master."

"Continue work! I'm out." The manager nodded and escorted Darrel out.

Aurel stared at the bodyguard who was still standing at the side of the car. He then looked towards the hotel door. He could see Darrel walking out and towards the car.

Brakes... Darrel closed the car door and sat down next to Aurel. The car slowly walked away from the hotel parking lot.

Darrel looked away at Aurel. "How's next?" Ask Darrel who only Aurel's trousers are.

"My offer is still valid until later this afternoon." Aurel looked directly at Darrel's face. He did not think of leaving the city.

"Message two return tickets for us."

"Good, sir."

Aurel who had not yet turned her face away from Darrel glared at the protest hearing Darrel's words.

"I haven't decided yet. Why did you jump to conclusions like this?"

"No problem. If you refuse, leave the ticket. If you want, we'll be back together this afternoon."

Aurel becomes upset with Darrel's behavior. He turned his face away from Darrel. Prefer to look out the window.

"I hope you want Aurel back. Asya, she needs you."

Aurel. It was as if he had not heard Darrel's words.

"She has a dangerous man by her side."

Hearing the dangerous word, Aurel immediately turned to look at Darrel. When it came to Asya's safety, he couldn't ignore it. Even so, he kept trying to calm down. It could be, Darrel's working on it.

"What does this have to do with me? I'm just a weak girl. There you are, Jiyo, Asya's parents. I'm sure you can protect Asya."

"Do you really not care about Asya?"

Aurel's speechless. His mouth is locked. He can't answer Darrel's question.

"You can't pretend you don't care." Darrel. "Asya when abroad has no female friends. He was also humiliated. Until one day we met a girl whose life was miserable. He was happy and started to love the girl. He even brought her home together and stayed at Edo's uncle's house. But, she's a bad girl. He is not sincerely friends with Asya and becomes a threat to Asya's safety. I warned him. It's not just me, many have reminded her including my twin, Darren. But..."

"Turns?" Aurel looks surprised when Darrel mentions a twin.

"Yes. I have a twin. Name, Darren. He took acceleration classes and graduated faster than the three of us. So, you don't know him because you moved out after he graduated."

"So... Which I saw..."

"Yes. What you saw then, I'm sure is him. Although we have the same face, but have different natures. She was very cold, whether from her face, her nature or her speech."

Aurel nodded. He feels guilty for yelling at Darrel for what he didn't do.

"I'm sorry about my accusations."

"No problem." Reply Darrel. "Oh yes, about Asya earlier, I hope you can think again. I think with you near Asya, it can keep Asya away from the girl slowly. She's really not good for Asya."

"Huufth... I'll think about it."

Darrel nodded. In his heart, he still wished for Aurel to agree. Actually, this was not his idea from the start. He just spontaneously revealed the reason. But, he was grateful, that reason not only held Aurel back from staying close to him. But, it also helped divert Asya from Naomi.

Darrel cursed at the thought of why he had not come up with the idea since the beginning of meeting Aurel? Had he come up with the idea before, he probably wouldn't have asked the hotel manager to do his cheap plan of firing Aurel, who ended up with Aurel's snapping and tears like that.

"Stupid!" Darrel murmured, cursing himself.

"What's up, Darrel?"

"Huh? No."

"Ooh... Where are we going now?"

Darrel patted his eel. "Oh, my God, I forgot. I'm going to buy Alisha's order."

"Alisha?"

"Yes. Alisha, sister. He loved the dry food of this city. I have the picture. He sent it."

Darrel takes out his phone and shows the picture Alisha sent him.

"Oh, this food?"

"You knew? Where's place?"

"of course. I love this food too. We go straight to the place of manufacture. There are several variants there."

"really?" Aurel nodded. "Thank God."

"Sir turn left, sir." Aurel said, showing the way to the place of manufacture united with the place of sale.
