DEFEATING THE SINGLE ENZO

Alvero hurriedly answered Enzo's question without daring to stare at Enzo, afraid that Enzo would tease him all out if he saw his suddenly nervous demeanor over Enzo's previous question that made his chest shake, so much so, because Enzo's question managed to get him to recall clearly what he had done with Deanda in the log house this morning. And that's something he still wants to do tonight with his beloved woman after dinner.

"When are you going back to the company?" Enzo's next question, accompanied by Enzo's hand movements on the chessboard, moving one of his chess pieces trying to attack Alvero's pawns who had just interpose, accidentally made Enzo's defense a little shaky.

"Next week we will return to the company. And I hope that during the week we leave the company, Dion doesn't make any more trouble than he used to when he was working in a subsidiary of Adalvino." Alvero said as he observed the position of Enzo's chess piece that he had just moved.

Seeing what Enzo had done to his chess piece, Deanda eased a small smile followed by Alvero who immediately moved his queen piece to do a double attack as Deanda had taught. What was done by Alvero successfully made Enzo widened in shock, many times Enzo's eyes saw between the chessboard in front of him and Alvero's face alternately more than 5 times in a row while his lips clucked.

"Gee... Alvero.. This time you really made me not believe you could win from me without cheating if I hadn't seen and watched you from earlier." Enzo said with a manyun lips because he felt sorry for underestimating Alvero and his beauty in playing chess.

"But Your Majesty, it was actually my compliment like I gave it to Empress Deanda, not you. He's the brain that helped you fight chess today." Enzo said as he moved his chess piece back which he knew would not help much, two or three more moves from Alvero, to be exact Deanda would get him checkmate if Alvero and Deanda had not done the pawn error.

While Alvero, once saw the depressed face of Enzo who for years no one had ever managed to beat him in playing chess immediately smiled amusedly as well as proud and happy.

"Well... Prince Enzo had already lost his confidence in the game of chess so started to think I would cheat? You know I never cheated with you." Enzo just grimaced hearing Alvero's words.

"No, I'll take my word, even if you cheat you'll never beat me. This time you won because of Deanda. So I assume today I'm playing chess with Deanda, not with you." Enzo said in a relaxed tone as he looked towards Alvero who confidently performed a legal trap.

(Legal trap is moving chess pieces, done at the expense of queen pawns to be able to checkmate the opponent king piece with other pieces).

"What's the difference between me and Deanda, we're husband and wife, which means that we're already a unit, there's no Alvero or Deanda, but we're both." Alvero said in a tone that sounded so proud.

"O yeah, how many times have you guys done things like "that"? It seems like it's been dozens of times so proudly you say that to show it off to me? The king is heartless. You should have a little sympathy for me who is single." Enzo teases Alvero and Deanda who instantly buy her eyes with a flushed face.

What the fuck? Neither his majesty nor prince Enzo. You both have the same hobby.

Deanda said inwardly as she lowered her face to hide her shy face.

"If you have understood, then there is no reason for me to explain to you again. Come on, let's have dinner, because after that there's something important we have to do, something that a single person like you can't do." Alvero said while deliberately moving one of Enzo's pieces, so that the position of the king's pawn belonged to Enzo in the position of getting a checkmate from Alvero's black pawn.

"Ah, that seems better. We're having dinner now. You also need nutritional intake for your next activities." Enzo said as he got up from his seat and went straight towards Alvero, hugging his shoulder to then pull Alvero's head towards him so that he could whisper towards Alvero slowly so as not to be heard by the others.

"Don't get too excited, if you don't want to tomorrow you're having trouble walking." Enzo whispered softly, after which quickly moved away from Alvero so as not to give Alvero a chance to hit him.
