NOT THE USUAL CINDERELLA (Season 2)
TIRA'S MEMORY OF ELIANA IN THE PAST

Still vividly remembered by Tira how when she was a child, her father who had just returned from an overseas business trip gave her souvenirs, a pair of teddy bears wearing hanbok. The souvenirs brought directly by his father from Korea at that time were specific to Tira.

(Hanbok (South Korea) or Choson-ot (North Korea) is the traditional dress of Korean society. Hanbok generally has a bright color, with simple lines and no pockets. Hanbok used is classified by its occurrence: daily wear, including for the first birthday of the child. Modern hanbok for children is divided into 2 or 3 parts and can be worn easily. Children's hanbok is worn usually once or twice a year in Chuseok or Chinese new year (seollal) celebrations. On his first birthday (doljanchi) the children wear their first hanbok.  Etymologically, Hanbok means “clothes of Koreans.” Han means “Korean” while Bok is clothes. Even so, this one dress is actually a specific clothing in the Joseon era only. In ancient times, the days of Dae Jang Geum, hanbok was a garment worn by everyone from peasants to nobles. Hanbok is also worn as a daily wear although it is now more often used for special occasions such as parties, funerals, and weddings.

The hanbok, often worn by Korean artists on the red carpet, is an evolution of the original version. In ancient times, especially in the Joseon era, hanbok was always made as loose and as waving as possible so it was suitable for use by all body shapes. In the era of Chinese occupation, Goryeo era (918-1392), hanbok was inspired by Mongolian culture. As a result, modern hanbok is a blend of tighter tops and skirts that are not as loose as they used to be.

Hanbok is a type of clothing that is closely attached to the identity of Korean women rather than men. Korean women often wear hanbok with specific colors as a symbol of their position in society. For example, only women who have a son can wear dark blue, while women who already have a husband can also wear purple. In special occasions, women who are still girls can only wear a blend of yellow and red on their hanbok. While the combination of red and green is usually only used by those who are getting married).

It was, by accident, when Tira toyed with the other princesses in the royal playroom, commonly used by young princesses, to gather and play together. Tira brought the doll to show to the other princesses, so that it could be used to play together. Desya who was then looking at the doll that she was beautiful and had never gotten, without saying anything immediately approached Tira and snatched the two puppets.

"Hey! Brother Desya! Return it! That's my doll. My dad bought it for me." Tira shouted out loudly.

"No! I want it! Just ask your dad again!" Without guilt, Desya ran out without caring for Tira who immediately cried while running after Desya and shouted for her doll back.

As soon as Desya finds out that Tira is chasing her, Desya deliberately runs towards the park, where before playing she sees her mother there with her private driver, who is there, get ready to attend a regular meeting of the wives of nobles.

"Yesinya..." Hearing the sound of a loud call from Desya, Eliana who was preparing to leave, turned her head immediately, and immediately frowned seeing how Desya with two teddy bears in her arms ran towards her, followed by Tira who was busy calling out to him.

"Why are you running around in the palace? Don't you know a princess shouldn't do such a thing." Eliana said as she stared at Desya and Tira alternately.

"Empress. Desya's sister took my papa's doll." Tira said as she looked towards Desya who was directly hiding behind Eliana's body with her lips sneering and the glare of her eyes that was clearly mocking Tira.

"O, so. Desya, you have many beautiful and expensive dolls. Why would you want such an ugly doll? Huh! Just a teddy bear with his hanbok. Doesn't look pretty much interesting." Eliana said as she pulled Desya's shoulder, making her come out of her concealment.

"But ma, I want a doll like this." Desya remained adamant, making Tira suddenly cry loudly.

"Shut up or I'll hit you! Don't make a fuss!" Eliana said as she pinched loudly Tira's arm which immediately cried out in pain but also forced herself to shut up from crying so that Eliana would let go of the pinch, especially now that Eliana's eyes glared at him with a scary look for Tira who was 7 years old at the time.

As soon as Eliana released the pinch of her hand, she grimaced with the pain in her arm, tira's small hand immediately held her arm tightly to ease the pain of Eliana's cubit which left a blue tint on Tira's arm.

"You want your doll back?" Eliana said with grinning lips that were immediately greeted by a small nod by Tira, and it made Eliana giggle amused.

With a quick movement Eliana snatched the doll from Desya's hand. And unexpectedly by Tira, Eliana pulled both hands and feet of the doll so hard that it was torn and immediately threw it into one corner of the park where there was a puddle of mud.

"Desya. Do you still want the doll now?" With a cynical sounding voice, Eliana asked Desya who immediately shook her head looking at the doll that had been damaged and dirty due to mud.

"You can take your doll back Tira. Don't be a bad boy. You should have been lucky, not you who fell into a puddle of mud from fighting over the doll so that it was torn and thrown into the mud." Tira immediately grew excited to hear the words of Eliana who said as a result of him and Desya pulling the doll that caused it to tear and be thrown into the mud.

"But the Empress... Desya and I don't...."

"Children as small as you, don't argue too much. Today you lose your doll, next time maybe you can lose another item you like if you dare to say something else to someone else. Don't think anyone would believe the words of an eclectic child like you, rather than me being a Gracetian empress!" The threatening words and eyes from Eliana, enough to make Tira's body take two steps back.

Tira took a deep breath considering the incident when she was a child. The incident that made Tira since then did not want to be near Eliana, and always tried to avoid. Even to just cross paths with Eliana, Tira tried to avoid it so much.

When he was a child, Tira tried to dare to complain about the problem to his parents. But when he had gathered his courage, that day Tira saw how Eliana in an empty room in the palace hit Alvero's back with a piece of wood, not even a single blow. It was then that Tira clearly saw how Alvero grimaced with the pain, without making the slightest sound from her lips.
