"Alea, please get me a drink, I'm so thirsty." Deanda said with her eyes gazing towards the forest, hoping that she would soon see Alvero's figure coming out of it.
"Ok, I'll get it for you. Wait here and don't go anywhere." Alea said as he rushed back inside the bunker to grab a drink for Deanda.
While Alea took a drink for her, Deanda looked out at the forest.
Deanda immediately frowned, and also narrowed her eyes to be more focused, when she saw a human body was seen galloping out of the direction of the forest.
"My Al?" Deanda whispered softly as her eyes continued to observe the figure that had just been seen galloping out of the forest followed by a few people behind her who were trying to keep up with her running speed.
As Alvero's figure drew closer and became clear, Deanda immediately smiled to see that her eyes did not miss seeing that it was really Alvero's figure, the man she loved so much and had been waiting for her since then in dismay.
Alvero himself, a wide smile immediately fell on his lips as soon as he saw the figure of Deanda standing in front of the bunker, was staring at him.
But the smile on Alvero's lips soon disappeared, replaced with eyes that were widened in shock as he looked from the other direction as a woman who was pointing her gun towards Deanda's head.
"Sweety!" Alvero shouted loudly to see that the woman who was pointing her gun without Deanda realizing it was Eliana.
Alvero's screaming voice was of course not heard by Deanda because of their distance which was still too far away.
Not to mention the wind that was loud enough that night made Alvero sound restrained by the wind, making Alvero face paled with his chest that was lying so hard to see what he was seeing.
"Sweetie! Head down!" Alvero shouted back as loudly as possible, until finally a voice sounded that made Alvero even unconsciously close his eyes because he was so afraid to face the reality of what would happen in front of him at this time.
"Dor!" The sound of gunfire rang out loud, breaking the silence of the night, followed by Deanda's body being jolted in shock and with widened eyes, and instantly reflexively moving her body to look in the direction where the gunshot came from.
The gunshot was followed by the collapse of the body of someone who immediately fell right at Deanda's feet.
As soon as the sound of good shots Alaya, Alea, Alexis and Red were followed by a few other bodyguards immediately rushed out to see what was happening with worried faces visible on their faces.
Moreover, Alea who felt that she had left Deanda alone outside without anyone's escort.
"Ti...no! Dion!" Eliana screamed hysterically as soon as she saw the body that had fallen for blocking Eliana's shot at Deanda was Dion.
Alvero, who finally dared to open his eyes, immediately approached Deanda and hugged Deanda's body, which was sculpting tightly.
"Dion...." Deanda who did not expect that Dion would replace him received a shot from Eliana immediately said mentioning Dion's name while bowing her head, looking at Dion who was lying near his feet.
"Dion! What have you done, son? Why are you doing that?" Eliana cried out hysterically while sitting down beside Dion's body which from her back was spitting out so much fresh blood.
"Deanda, did I look cool just now? Will this time...I be able to prove that I really love you?" Dion said with a smile towards Deanda, making Deanda look with a look of disbelief towards Dion.
While Alvero chose to be quiet with one of his arms tightly hugging Deanda's body which was staring at Dion.
If only to be honest, even Alvero was eager to kick Dion's body to show that he was angry enough to hear how other men expressed love for his wife in front of his eyes.
But the fact that Dion even dared to protect Deanda by risking his own life makes Alvero hold himself back as much as possible.
At least that's all Alvero can do to express his gratitude to Dion for saving his beloved woman.
"Ah... Deanda Federer's.... It seems, whatever I do will not make you look at me with love even a little. Her Highness... You're really lucky to have such a great woman who loves you so much by your side." Dion said with great difficulty as he endured the pain of the gunshot wound.
"But I'm glad to see you're safe. At least as long as I live there is still a great good I have done for someone I admire, even though I cannot have. I feel a bit of a useful person today." Dion said with a smile with a face that looks relieved, not a face that is usually filled with lust or anger as usual, when so desiring Deanda but can not get it.
"Dion! You're a real fool..." Eliana said in a groaning tone as she lashed Dion's shoulders softly, showing how she felt so devastated to see the fact that she had harmed her beloved son.
Everything he's done for Dion.
Tears were rushing through Eliana's face whose chest felt so claustrophobic from such great regret, that it was filling her heart.
"Ma. I'm willing to do it." Dion said softly towards Eliana, as the pain she felt grew.
"Ma. don't cry. Be proud that at least I saved the life of a Gracetian empress. Be proud that in the end I became a boy who could boast of both his parents for the good things I have done for this kingdom." Dion said as he rubbed Eliana's cheek gently.
Dion's actions and words made Eliana cry even louder with her hand tightly holding Dion's hand that was stroking her cheek.
"After this, live quietly, without having to think hard how to make me a ruler." Dion said his words while smiling towards Eliana.
"It's time for Mama to live without heavy burdens because of my existence. I'm sorry. who can't take good care of you. I'm sorry Ma...." The longer Dion spoke his last words in a tone of voice, the louder and more indistinct, until Dion slowly closed his eyes, and his weakly drooping hand, fell on the ground.
