VINCENT'S MIND WAS NOT CALM
“Who would dare say that to you? Getting you as my empress is a huge fortune to me, and having such a great empress is a bonus to me.” Finishing his words, Alvero grabbed Deanda's nape and brought Deanda's head closer to him, then kissed Deanda's lips affectionately, on the passenger bench, regardless of Ernest's whereabouts.
Ernest could only hold his breath and attempt to no longer glance towards the rearview mirror once he realized what the king and empress were doing on the passenger bench.
Again, the noble one forgot that I was still in one car with him. It seems, I should start thinking about the orders from your highness in order to get married soon. But is it that easy to get a future wife as good as the empress? Your Majesty is very lucky.... Huh....
Ernest said inwardly as he took a deep breath, and tried to remain focused on looking towards the road that was in front of him.

"Your Majesty... Erich has given the info that Miss Alaya is currently in a restaurant on Renhill beach." Ernest said without daring to look back, worried that he might have to see something he shouldn't have seen, the affection between Alvero and Deanda, which sometimes makes him feel in a bad position and causes him to misbehave, not knowing how to behave.
"It's not lunch time yet, meaning the girl deliberately came there most likely to meet and have a conversation with someone." Alvero said after glancing towards the clock on his wrist which still showed at 10 a.m.
"In that case, we'll just go there, Ernest. I don't want to waste too much time. Your Majesty Vincent must be waiting for news from me." Alvero said as he opened the screen on his phone, then made a call to Enzo.
"Hallo. What happened to Alvero? Why is Vincent's blood pressure so high since last night? And it looks like he's having trouble sleeping?" As soon as Enzo receives a call from Alvero, a long scolding goes straight out of Enzo's lips with you looking worried.
"What happened to Papa Enzo? Is the condition bad? Did the doctor call you?" Instead of answering Enzo's question, Alvero asked Enzo back, making Enzo who was in the natural part, and his village held his breath.
Enzo who was making a phone call with Alvero held his breath while his head looked up slightly and one of his hands that was not holding the phone, put it in his pants pocket.
"Alvero, everything has been handled well by the doctor. The medicine has also been given to Uncle Vincent. But you know, the condition of the uncle this time must be because he was thinking about something. We have to find the root of the problem in order to solve it quickly, so that the health of the uncle is not disturbed." Enzo grumbled with a frown, suggesting he was worried about Vincent's health.
"Papa's mind is not calm. Right now, Deanda and I are on our way to Renhill. We're trying to solve a problem with Papa. Take it easy Enzo, everything will be fine, now you just need to invite papa to chat so that papa's mind is a little distracted." Alvero said as he glanced towards Alvero who was talking to Enzo.
"All right then. You two better do it fast. I don't want to get into anything bad about uncle because of his unsettled mind." Enzo finally tried to calm himself.
"Sure, we're trying our best. Enzo, are you near papa? I'll have to talk to him for a minute, maybe it'll calm him down." Hearing Alvero's words, Enzo quickly rushed to re-enter the villa.
"Uncle..." Vincent who was reading the news through the tablet in his hand immediately raised his head and turned towards the door of the room, upon hearing the call from Enzo.
"Uncle, Alvero called." Enzo immediately thrust his phone to Vincent as he approached Vincent, who accepted it with a curious face, impatiently waiting for news of what Alvero would tell him.
"Yes son, have you met that girl? Did you have time to talk to him in person and ask about the locket?" With a tone of voice that sounded so impatient, Vincent immediately asked Alaya's problem to Alvero.
Enzo who was standing next to Vincent could only listen to their conversation without understanding what they were talking about right now.
"This morning Deanda and I had intended to meet Alaya at her work, but she did not enter work on the grounds of going to Renhill to see her relatives. I already knew the location where Alaya was, we were on our way to that place. But I asked Papa to calm down and keep Papa's emotions in check. I heard from Enzo, Papa's blood pressure has been rising since last night." Vincent turned his head towards Enzo as soon as he heard Alvero's words.
Enzo who could hear Alvero's words with a long-goal from across there instantly turned his face out of the reach of Vincent's gaze, which finally could only hold his breath for a moment, between amused because Enzo considered him a reporter, but on the other hand Vincent was happy to see how close the relationship between Enzo and Alvero was.
Even the closeness between Enzo and Alvero sometimes makes Vincent feel sad, seeing how the relationship Dion and Alvero never get along, even though the blood bond, but the relationship between them, dion and Alvero should be closer than Alvero and Enzo.
"Pa... Is Papa still there?" Alvero asked after a long time Vincent was silent without responding to Alvero's previous words.
"Eh, yeah son. Papa's still listening. Yeah, Papa just follow your plan. I will wait patiently for news from you. I hope everything goes well." Vincent said as he placed the tablet he had on his lap on the table in front of him.
"Don't worry Pa. I hope this afternoon we can solve the problem. Then I'll hang up. Papa must maintain Papa's health. There are many things we haven't done together. Once Papa's healthy, I want us to spend some time together on vacation." Alvero said with a smile, imagining how happy he would be if his hopes had just materialized in the future.
It feels like since his relationship and Vincent improved, Alvero wants to pay for the times he lost with Vincent, because of the existence of Eliana who makes the relationship Alvero and Vincent can not be as warm as the relationship between father and son.
