Season 3: Strive and Survive Part 56

The air in the room covered with rocks is getting hotter. Haura woke up from the heat and sweat until her clothes were soaked in sweat and so was Alvan. Haura was thirsty until she coughed.

"Ugh...ugh...." Haura coughs.

"You thirsty, Haura?" ask Alvan.

"My throat is dry, thirsty, hot" Haura said.

"I feel the same way" Alvan said.

Haura kept her hands on her neck. Alvan stood up and tried to get rid of the rocks that closed the exit. But no matter how much you try, you can't open the exit.

Alvan got upset and punched the rocks with his hand.

Dugs...dug....

Haura walked over to Alvan and stopped her hand from pounding the rocks until it bled.

"Stop Alvan.stop, your hands will hurt, see it's bleeding" said Haura.

"I can't get you out of here, I'm useless" Alvan said.

Haura put down Alvan's bloody right hand on her chest.

"Who said you were useless? from earlier you tried to get rid of the rocks but the number is a lot" said Haura.

Alvan touched Haura's cheek with his left hand.

"I'm sorry Haura" said Alvan.

Haura nodded. Alvan returned to accompany Haura to sit down. He saw Haura tear off a bit of her clothes to bandage Alvan's wound. He bandaged Alvan's four fingers together with a tear of his clothes.

"Haura thank you" said Alvan.

"Well, this is true, you look good again" said Haura.

Alvan smiled seeing Haura also smiling at him. The air is getting hotter. Alvan and Haura's clothes were soaking wet that they were even more thirsty. Alvan took off his top clothes because it could not stand the heat.

"Alvan I'm ashamed" said Haura.

"Sorry Haura I'm not strong, it's hot" Alvan said.

"Alvan I was also hot, very hot" said Haura.

"Open your clothes, I'll close my eyes" Alvan said.

Haura took off her upper clothes leaving the clothes over the last part, Alvan closed his eyes.

"Alvan is very thirsty, ugh..ugh.

"Shut up here" said Alvan.

Alvan stood up and walked open his eyes as he turned his back on Haura. He searched down that there was land. Alvan dug the ground with his hands deep enough. He wished there was water to drink. But there was no water either. Alvan was desperate, he went back to digging and digging until his hands were all scratched.

"Aw.." said Alvan in pain.

"Alvan what's wrong?" ask Haura.

"No, I must have gotten some water" Alvan said.

"Don't force yourself, let alone hurt you" Haura said.

Hearing Haura say like that, Alvan tried to dig and dig for hours, even his body was soaked in sweat. Haura was already limp, she lay down under almost fainting.

"Come on, the water where you are" said Alvan.

Alvan did not hear Haura's voice stroking thirst and heat. He was forced to look back, Haura lying down helplessly.

"Where are you water?" alvan was angry.

Alvan dug and dug again with fiery anger until the water appeared even a little but enough to drink a few sips. Alvan tried to take the water with his hand. He brought it to Haura. The water in his hand was put into Haura's mouth but since Haura was already limp, the water instead flowed out of Haura's mouth. Alvan took back the water, now he's using another way. Alvan drank the water but was not swallowed, held in his mouth and then approached Haura.

Alvan took Haura and poured water in his mouth. Slowly Alvan moved his mouth water into Haura's mouth. Sip by gulp swallowed by Haura. After all swallowed Alvan again took the water in the same way up to several times. Finally Alvan was limp and exhausted. He sat leaning against the rock wall while holding onto Haura. Haura's head rested on Alvan's chest. He hugged Haura who was limp not even talking anymore.

"Hauras...Haura.." said Alvan slowly.

Alvan also began to be unable to speak out loud.

"Alvan ma.ka.sih" said Haura.

Haura spoke but stammered. He doesn't have the power to talk slowly though.

"Iya Haura" said Alvan.

"Haura you remember when we were stranded with the uninhabited island, we also had this kind of hardship. But you're always cheerful and not desperate. You have to stay that way Haura" said Alvan.

Haura remembers being stranded with Alvan.

As they search for sea animals, sleeping together on the shore of nothing but the cold of the night, dark and roofed sky full of stars and shining moon. In the morning Alvan was still asleep but Haura was awake. He's trying to make a fire like Alvan did last night. He tried and tried until sparks appeared. Then Haura swiped the two stones under a rich pile until a large fire burned the wood. Then he roasted shrimp, crab, and fish. The smell of burnt food woke Alvan. He approached Haura who was burning their captured sea beast.

"That sounds good" said Alvan.

"Who dong I was, Chef Haura" said Haura.

"But the crab is charred, is it good to eat?" ask Alvan.

"Ah..ini crabs must indeed be burned to the gosong so that not our cockpit when eaten, their lives are many loh" said Haura Ngawur.

"Oh that way, really ngawurmu" said Alvan with a smile

"Let's eat, if not I'm abisin" said Haura.

"But my hand hurts" said Alvan.

"Pampered handsome yes, fine me bribe" said Haura.

Haura feeds Alvan, not forgetting she feeds herself.

"Thank you chatty girl" said Alvan.

"Pay well if you are healthy and we meet again" said Haura.

"OK" said Alvan.

"Promise" said Haura brandishing her little finger.

"Promise" said Alvan fused his little finger with Haura's little finger.

Haura smiled as she recalled that. He tried to be conscious and endure.

"Alvan ka.u mene.pati jan.jimu" said Haura.

"Iya Haura" said Alvan.

"Kata.kan se..satu in.dah" said Haura.

"I want to laugh with you Haura" Alvan said.

Haura smiled hearing Alvan's words. He was happy to stay with Alvan and laugh again with him.

Rafael and Alina run to find another way. But some of the roads were closed and some were broken and cut off. They passed through the broken path walking slowly. The road was only a quarter intact and even half perforated. Alina was frightened, her hands were cold, realizing it was Rafael holding Alina on his back walking slowly.

"Sir Rafa, I'm sorry Alina troubled you so much" said Alina.

"Little brother I will protect you with my own life" Rafael said.

Alina continued to hug her brother in her arms.

Rafael stepped up to the second-tier room before the first layer to the underground tourist exit. But the exit was piled with soil until it closed the exit tightly. Rafael takes Alina down.

"Your little brother was here" said Rafael.

"Yes my sister" said Alina.

Raphael approached the ground-covered exit. He tried to dig the ground but the more it was dug the more landslides and filled the room with soil. Aware of that, Rafael stopped him.

"The more excavated, the room will be piled up and full of soil, it looks like I have to wait for the rescue team from the outside" said Rafael.

Rafael went back to Alina. He took Alina to sit with him. Raphael sat down and leaned Alina's head against his shoulder.

"How are we going to get out?" ask Alina.

"We can definitely go out, we better pray yes" said Rafael.

Alina nodded. They sat down in prayer and hoped that help would soon come from the rescue team.

Rehan and Love were sitting relaxing while watching the televised event. Rehan drinks a warm cup of coffee that Love made for him while Cinta sits beside Rehan listening to an afternoon news event.

"Good afternoon viewers. You watched Neutral New TV news. We will inform you about the landslide disaster that occurred at Puncak Serbabu tourist spot. Some vehicles suffered damage. The most severe is underground tourism because it is covered in landslides. Rescue teams are evacuating the victims. There has been no notification regarding anyone who has not been found and is still trapped in the Puncak Serbabu tourist area" said the host.

Rehan and Cinta were immediately shocked to hear the news.
