I woke up in a white room. A high curtain surrounded my hard, iron-safety bed. An infusion needle was embedded in the back of my hand. The hospital's distinctive smell poked my nose.
A young nurse was standing in front of my infusion pole while taking notes. Her uniform is different from that of the nurse at the mental hospital where Misaki was treated. "You're awake. I'll tell the doctor" he said, smiling. "Do you remember your name?"
"Nurse Tomomi. Where is Tora-san?" my many.
"Tora-san's... Your cat?" The nurse looked confused.
I kept quiet for a while, remembering that the name Tora was not a common name used by ordinary people. "Who brought me here?"
"A tall, handsome man with a towering stature and black hair," the nurse smiled mischievously. "Is he your girlfriend?" goda. "He's in therapy."
"Therapy?" I tried to sit, but my head hurt. My palm caught the bandage that surrounded my head when I grabbed it.
"Sleep first. You had a very hard impact. How did you fall off the 2nd floor of your house?"
"Fall down?" It must be Tora who made up a fake story. There's no way he's telling the truth. "How long am I sleeping?"
"Both days. Excuse me first. If you need something, press this button," the nurse showed me a calling device connected by a long cable and placed it next to my hand. After rereading his notes, he came out.
"What's Tora-san doing in the therapy room?" muttered.
It didn't take long for me to go back. When I opened my eyes, the curtains surrounding me partially opened. I turned to the left and found Tora sleeping on the chair. Dry esophagus. I want to drink, but I don't want to wake Tora up. I am alone in bed. As vigorously as I endured the headache, I got up and grabbed the glass at the table next to the bed.
Tora looks tired. He must have waited for me for 2 days here. I have something to ask you, but it can be done later. However, strangely enough, he jumped on his own in his chair without anyone waking up. He looked dazedly around her.
"Dreams?" my many.
"Yes" Tora scratched her head. "You're conscious. What are you feeling now?"
"Just a headache. You you?"
Tora shrugged her shoulders. "Tomorrow you can go home but still have to take the medicine until it runs out" he said.
"So you went to the therapy room?"
After a few seconds of silence, Tora replied, "I happened to meet Doctor Minami who also practices in this hospital. We talked a little about Misaki. His body is buried."
"You want to go to his grave?" I asked, looking at Tora so closely. I know that question is hard for him to answer. Tora's body is big, her face is creepy, but her feelings are very subtle. It was his fist that proved it. I nodded in understanding. "You've apologized for beating up Doctor Minami back then?"
Tora laughed, finally. "There's still bruises on his face, but yes, I've apologized" he said. "Is there anything you need?"
Instantly, my stomach sounded. The worms in my stomach need food. We both laughed when we heard it. Tora was feeding, spoonful by spoonful, hospital food into my mouth. It felt bland, but I forced it to swallow because it was so hungry.
The next morning, I picked up Tora. The bandage on my head has been removed. They shaved a little of my hair, so the shape became strange. Tora gave me a hat to cover it up. We went back to Tora's house. I miss that beautiful little house. If it's not embarrassing, I want to stick my body on the wall like a lizard. It feels good to be back here.
"You're fine here. I'm leaving first" Tora said after driving me to the room.
"Where are you going?"
"Work."
"Work?"
Tora nodded. "I've got a new job" he smiled.
"Congratulations! Where's where?" tanyaku.
"A small restaurant. I work in the kitchen as a chef's maid."
"It suits you a lot, Tora-san!" myrag.
"I'm leaving."
"Be careful on the road" I waved at him.

I went to school 2 days later. My friends asked me where I had been all that time. Of course I didn't answer the truth. But some of them seem to believe me when I tell them. They also wondered why I wore a hat all day. As soon as I opened my hat, they were shocked and immediately took me to the salon. The wounds on my head were healed, so I accepted their invitation.
Tora was a bit surprised when she came home and didn't find my long hair. "Sweet," she commented shyly.
Now my hair is short, not to the shoulders. It felt strange but my head got lighter. This is also a sign that the hard times of my life have ended. Tora was no longer a Yakuza, free from all the strict rules of the clan. He was a regular guy who worked in a restaurant.
"Does your boss know you're an ex-Yakuza?" ask me when we're having dinner.
Tora nodded. "He doesn't mind it. He even wanted to get a tattoo like the Yakuza to scare his subordinates," he laughed.
"I want to." too."
"Eh? No, no," forbid Tora.
"I'm kidding" I said, then laughed.
"Oi!" It's funny to see Tora's stupid face. It was so adorable that it made me want to pinch her cheeks.
"Are you using your real name?" ask again.
"Yes." Yeah."
"Then, should I call you Taiga-san?"
Tora laughs. "No need," he said.
"Taiga-niisan like Misaki? Ah... Sorry." I was foolish to mention his sister's name.
"It's okay. I thought Misaki was still alive, too" said Tora flatly.
We lost the cheerful and excited girl figure. We missed him. Misaki became the color of our lives. Misaki is our family. The girl died alone. We deeply regret his departure for not being able to save him. Until now we still think it is still around us even though it is invisible. His spirit made us able to live life forward.
I decided to stop by Misaki's grave after school without telling Tora. My feelings were mixed when I saw a short headstone that read "TONOMURA MISAKI". Between being upset, angry, and sad, I chose not to cry. I don't think "thank you" would be enough to tell him.
I pray for him in my heart. "I'll come again" I said as I patted Misaki's headstone.

"You're late" Tora said as soon as I got home. The man arrived first and was cooking dinner.
"There are club activities at school" I replied. I seem to be good at making up fake stories.
"You're in club activities?"
"Yes. Basketball."
Tora laughs. Laugh at me, to be exact.
"Don't underestimate me" I protested. "I've dribbled the heavy ball everywhere" I said.
"Oh yeah? I want to see."
I have to actually join the basketball club from tomorrow. I want to take Tora to Misaki's grave, but does she want to? "Tora-san," call me.
"Yes?"
"Do you want to..." I'm afraid he's moody again, or even angry.
"You what?"
"Do you want... Come with me?"
"Where?"
"Ke... To... " It seems, it's not yet time. "Watch movies?"
Tora chuckles. "Tomorrow I'm off. We watch a movie," he smiled.
I'm nodding. Seeing Tora like this made me not want to ruin her mood. If Tora is happy by not thinking about Misaki, then I won't bother her even if I know she must still miss her sister. I'll wait until Tora herself wants to go to Misaki's grave.

"Misaki, I'm coming again" I said as I knelt before Misaki's headstone. I put a flower on the green grass, under the stone. A cold wind hit my body that was only wearing a school uniform. "The year will soon change. Do you remember our new year celebration? Too bad we can't repeat it" I smiled. "I'm sorry I haven't been able to persuade your sister to come here, but she's fine. Now he works in a small restaurant as an assistant chef. The cuisine is delicious. I'll bring it sometime."
If he was alive, maybe Misaki would go back to school. He could move to my school or stay in his old school. We would often go for walks after school, do club activities together, chat a lot of things.
But it's all just a fantasy. Misaki is no more.

Tora was more silent than before. His eyes were extinguished because he lost hope. Misaki is the only family she has.
I never heard from Kei after he left Hanazawa-gumi headquarters. I admit I miss him. I want to hear her taunts again, her outspoken remarks, also want to see her host-style makeup again.
Makoto Aya or Kiritani Aya is a strong woman. But he was blinded by vengeance. The waltz lesson I still remember. If only he hadn't become a Yakuza, I'd be sure he'd be a famous dancer. His love for Tora did not also make him understand his brother's desire to stay with Kumicho.
Hanazawa-gumi was disbanded after the tragic events. Kumicho has been killed, as have his confidants. Thus, its members were free to do anything without being tied to the clan. Kumicho is a respected leader. I think the saying "behind a great man, there's an even greater woman" is true. He loved his wife very much and he regretted that he was not there beside her at the last moment. Now they must have met again.

The funeral guards have recognized me because I've been here a lot. As much as I can, I hold back my tears. "I'd better go home. See you later, Misaki," I said, patting Misaki's headstone as I always do.
Apparently Tokyo does give me bad memories, but I can't just go home. Tora needs a friend who can support her through difficult times like now.
"I'm home" said Tora, who had just returned 2 hours after me.
"Welcome. Just sit. I'll be done in a moment" I said, stirring up some soup for dinner.
But instead of sitting in the dining chair, Tora approached me and sat down at the kitchen counter table. "I'm tired" he said lazily. This time he said it. "What are you cooking?"
"Fish and your favorite soup."
"Nake?" Tora sniffed the scent of my soup.
"of course. You taught me," I smiled.
For a few minutes, we were silent. All I could hear was the sound of my soup bursting about to boil and be ready to serve. We often stay quiet and careless like this. We ate quietly, took a shower, then took a break.
I don't know why tonight I can't sleep. I closed my eyes for a long time, but still couldn't bring me to dreamland. Normally, I would roll around on the bed, but now I'm picking out the room. Maybe by watching television, my eyes will be tired by themselves.
I deliberately turned off her voice so as not to wake Tora who was sleeping in the next room. He said he was tired. So, he definitely needed some quality rest time for his energy to recover by the morning.
I don't know what show I'm watching. Three people were chatting and laughing at something. The female laughed until her stomach ache, while the other 2 men laughed while still babbling. Maybe I'll laugh when I hear their jokes. I was so confused that I tried to read their lips.
However, what I caught was not a joke, but the sound of stuffing in my ears. I looked at the source of the voice. My whole body was shivering for a moment. With the lights out like this, I seemed to be in an old house, only cooler. Sleeking, I followed the sound bridge to the front of Tora's room. I put my ear on the door.
It was Tora's voice.
