My Yakuza Boyfriend's

My Yakuza Boyfriend's
Chapter 16 - Defeat

The next day, I woke up around 9 a.m. It's too late to go to school. Tora had gone out of nowhere, but he made porridge and provided medicine. Last night, I slept well, maybe I even kicked Tora. Grandma used to say that my sleeping style was like a kung fu movement. I smiled at the thought of Tora getting my death kick.

My head was still dizzy and my body was limp. Tora's porridge almost feels bland in my mouth, but I still spend it because of course I need energy. All day I was in my apartment, trying to do something useful, such as cleaning the bathroom, mopping the floor, and drying futons soaked in sweat. However, all of these activities even make me more lethargic to fall asleep on the sofa.

I wake up when it's dark. Hungry stomach. The only thing on the table is rice. I opened my little fridge. There was a piece of paper on the shelf, saying, "Wait for me to come home. Tora's." What does Tora mean by this 'home', where to go home? This is definitely not his place to live. Does he want to stay here again?

The doorbell startled me. I opened the door wondering if it was Tora. And it turned out to be true. He smiled at me, then showed me his plastic bag containing groceries. Without further ado, he went straight in and took off his shoes.

"I'm home," Tora approached me, grabbed my nape, and stuck her forehead on my forehead while closing her eyes. I wanted to punch him in the face because it always made me nervous. "Your heat has gone down. I'll cook for you" he said. He could have done that normally.

"Yes" I said because I was so hungry. "Aren't you tired?"

Tora took off her jacket before replying, "No." He threw the jacket onto the sofa like he was in his own house and picked up an apron hanging on the handle of the kitchen cabinet. The apron makes her look sweet. "We were recruiting new members, but their faces were terrified when they saw all of us" he laughed, then took out his entire plastic bag. He also started cooking.

I don't know what he's cooking. There are carrots, potatoes, chicken, onions, and herbs. Sitting sweetly while waiting is not my habit. Especially when it comes to cooking. So, I leaned against the kitchen table while watching Tora play around with the knife. "You're so good, Chef Tora," my lead.

"No, no."

Because of the knife, I remember what Kei said about the members who broke the rules. "Tora-san, are you sure you want to meet your sister?" my many.

"That's sure. Why?"

"Ah, no. I guess I'm the one hesitating right now. I'm afraid they know."

Tora stopped her activities. "I still have to see Misaki, no matter what," he said.

I know I can't forbid someone from meeting his family. Moreover, Tora and Misaki were separated for many years. I understand Tora's feelings. He loved Misaki so much that he risked his own life. But come to think of it, we can do it clandestinely so that no clan member knows. We won't do anything as long as we don't get caught. Besides, I still have to try to restore Misaki's memory. I have to be sure everything will go well.

"I'm sorry, Tomomi. I shouldn't have gotten you this far."

"It's okay. I also want Tonomura Misaki and Tonomura Taiga to be reunited," I laughed.

"Shut up!" tora Protest. His laughter filled the entire room. The aroma of Tora's cooking began to smell. It turns out he was making a kare. Very fragrant. The way she cooks reminds me of Grandma. "It's done!" yells.

"Gaziness!" reply while raising both my hands high.

"You're like a child."

"And you're like fathers."

"Bad you!" Tora approached me in a grumpy style.

"Eh? Papa, I'm innocent!" ledekku tried to escape.

Tora hugged me from behind, trapping me to the point of not being able to move. "You're finally caught!" Then, he kissed my cheek.

"I'm so lacking" I said.

Tora let go of her embrace.

I turned to face Tora, then tiptoed to kiss her cheek as well. Funny expression of surprise. He is suitable to be my entertainment when sick.

We ate together like a family. When I finished, I washed the dishes, while Tora took a bath. Looks like he's staying over again. Actually he doesn't have to do that, but I'll just let him do as he pleases. He cannot hurt a sick person.

I heard the bathroom door was opened. Tora must be done. "Aah!" yells.

I looked towards the bathroom, but it turned out that Tora was still inside. "Tora-san?" call me.

"Yes" he said from the bathroom.

"You okay?"

Finally, Tora came out wearing a t-shirt and shorts. A sight I've never seen before. His appearance is ordinary. He gave a refreshing smile.

"I think I heard you come out" I said.

"Oh... That's... I forgot that."

"Forgot what?"

"I thought this was in my house" Tora chuckled while scratching her head.

"Then?"

"So I didn't wear anything. As soon as I came out, I just remembered that I was at your place. So, I'm in again."

"Eh? Oh, I see," I bowed. I was the wrong one. Tora's here to take care of me, nothing. I'm so stupid. "Then it's my turn."

"Please."

I passed by Tora who was still standing in front of the bathroom, closed the door, and locked it tightly. "What am I thinking" I murmured to myself.

Tora was watching television when I finished taking a shower. He laughed at the strangely dressed comedian making a joke. I wasn't so interested in the spectacle, that I widened the futon and lay on it. It feels so comfortable. Suddenly, the sound of the television disappeared. Tora was lying next to me. He sighed. We both stared at the ceiling of my apartment with a leaky scar in the corner.

"I told you Misaki used to stay here?"

"It has. Is it different from me now?"

I laugh. "Misaki is female, while you are male" I replied. "If Grandma finds out I let men in here, I might not be allowed to step on Tokyo anymore."

"I'm sorry, Grandma. I just want to accompany the girl I love here" Tora said as if talking to my grandmother. "But does my presence bother you?"

"Absolutely not. You don't need to be carried," I said. "Tomorrow I'll go to school again."

"You sure you're healthy?"

"Yes, thanks to you. Thank you, Tora-san," I said sincerely.

Tora smile. "Together, Tomomi."

"And I'm also gonna find a new job."

"Wait a minute" Tora was surprised. "You want to work again? Nope, no. How about you get sick again?"

"But I need living expenses. Eat, rent this apartment."

"I can't let you work like that. You can use my money."

"I don't want to!" my debating. How could I possibly use Tora's money at will. He's not my thing yet.

"Then stay with me!"

"Eh?" My heart jumped straight away. "Died together?" I repeated Tora's words, not believing what I was hearing. Where exactly is this conversation going? Confused what to answer, I kept quiet.

Tora looked surprised at what she just said, but from the look on her face, she looked even more steady. "I'm definitely going to marry you, Tomomi," she said.

"Married?" Really, I'm like someone who's just learning to talk. I immediately imagined living with Tora, how we would spend the rest of our lives. It doesn't matter if Tora's still a Yakuza. I will support her by being a good wife.

"Tomomi," call Tora, make me flinch. "Will you marry me?"

I must have been dreaming or I was crazy. Usually men would prepare a ring and create a special moment to ask something this big, but Tora did it casually while lying on my futon. My stomach is heartburn to want to take out the contents. I love Tora very much. I don't know why I can't get away from this guy. However, I really don't know how to say it.

Tora sat up, I followed her. "I know this all of a sudden" he said. "But I want to take care of you, protect you. All this time, you've always given me everything. You accept me for who I am, without looking at me as a Yakuza. You treat me like an ordinary person. I feel perfect being by your side, Tomomi. So, again, for the rest of your life, will you accept me?" Both of Tora's eyes were staring at me, radiating a ray of hope for the future.

That's when I was sure.

I hit Tora until the man fell backwards, but I didn't want to let go. I can't stop smiling because I'm so happy.

I felt Tora's arms hugging my body. "Thank you" he said. He turned the position until it was right above me, then kissed my lips. I closed my eyes. Tora's lips are so warm.

"Tora-san, what's your favorite food?"

Tora laughs. "Why are you suddenly asking?"

"I want to know more about you."

"Hmmm... I've never violated the information about myself," Tora frowned, then lay down next to me again. "But let me see. My favorite food is not. I love all the food."

"You should be big, '" I said, making Tora laugh again. I love his crisp laugh. Moreover, his dimples were clearly visible within this close distance. "Do you have a favorite singer?"

"Your favorite color?"

"Black."

"Black is cool" I commented. "Do you prefer to go to the mountains or to the beach?"

"Maybe I'm the mountain type. I love the green view of the trees. Besides, I don't need to undress on the mountain," Tora chuckled. He must be thinking about his tattoo.

"Is there another girl before me?"

"Hmmm...There's."

"really?" I'm not surprised a handsome guy like Tora has dated more than once. Tora must be in demand among women, both young and old.

"He didn't want me to be a Yakuza. I fully understand his decision to leave me."

"I'm so sad" I said.

Tora chuckles. "If we were still dating, then I wouldn't know you, Tomomi. After joining Hanazawa-gumi, we officially walked alone."

"Did you miss her?"

"Now no. Because I have you," Tora turned her head and looked at me.

"Had I left you too, would you have missed me too?"

Tora's forehead wrinkled. "Why are you asking?"

"I want to know."

"Are you going to leave me?"

"No."

"Then, I don't need to answer it," Tora smiled.

"It's only if." My tone is a little pushy.

"I won't let you leave me. If you leave, I'll find you. If you need to, I'll tie you up so you can't escape again."

"That's called kidnapping!" myrag.

Now Tora laughed. "You're the last one, Tomomi. I don't think I'm going to find anyone more appropriate than you" he said.

"ah! You're flicking." My words are so different from my heart that I actually really liked Tora's words just now. Maybe Tora was the only guy who said that to me. And I'm happy. "But I'm the same, too" I continued.

"really? Thankfully," Tora sighed as if completely relieved.

"May I see your tattoo again?" my many.

"Eh? You're not scared?"

I'm shaking.

"Alright," Tora turned around and lifted the bottom of her shirt. The tiger was seen instantly. His sharp fangs seemed to be able to tear me alive. His golden eyes pierced my eyes. Loreng her body is very beautiful.

I can't bear to touch it. I followed the tiger's body line up to its tail with my finger. "Actually, what does this tiger tattoo mean?" my many.

"Power and power, but it can also symbolize a thief. Well, I don't understand what a thief means here."

"Why did you choose a tiger?"

"As for my name, Tora."

"Then why did you choose Tora?"

"My name is Taiga, as we say the English word 'tiger', which means tiger."

"Hmmm... His mustache reminds me of Grandma's story" I said.

"What story?"

"Conon, the Chinese believe in divination. From birth, they have been told how they died. Therefore, they avoided everything related to the prophecy in order to be free from death. There was a rich boy who was predicted to die from a tiger. The boy lived inside the house with a sturdy and high wall fence, so the tiger would not be able to enter. He never left the house until he was an adult. Once, after dinner, he suddenly died from a very sharp toothpick. Apparently the toothpick was made from a tiger's mustache."

"Fuck that guy."

"It's just a story. But I think there's a point. If fate had said so, then no one could have avoided it. Everything depends on time."

"Then, what about your destiny? You ever tell fortunes?"

"I don't dare."

"What are you afraid of?"

"I'm afraid to believe. If you believe in destiny, maybe I will continue to be burdened by it, for example, I should be like this, should not be so. As a result I will focus on my destiny."

"But I believe in destiny" said Tora.

"really?"

Tora nodded. "I feel like you're destined to break into that nightclub, so I can meet you. We can be together like this, I think destiny. And if we get married later, it's also doomed."

This man who was on his back slapped me with his words. Tora is a straight man, not looking left-right. He hopes to meet his sister again. From the beginning, the goal was that. I feel ashamed of myself for not having dreams. All this time I was just playing around. I take all the trouble for granted. In fact, I was fighting in school for my own satisfaction. Tora stepped forward, while I walked on the spot. Because Tora asked me to get married that was the first time I wanted something, which was to live with her.

I used to want to go to Tokyo with no clear purpose. I just want to go back to where I was born. After I got here, all I did was go through the same routine I did in Hokkaido. I even troubled my family by asking them to send money every month. Actually, what kind of person am I?

"Tomomi? You're asleep already?" Tora dropped the shirt again. He turned to face me again. "You why?"

I hugged Tora. I made him a big bolster pillow. "I'm sorry, I can't be a good person" I said.

"Eh? Is there something wrong with my words?"

I raised my head up to look at Tora's face. "No. I'm the problem one. Because I heard you earlier, I'm thinking about the future."

"Oh yeah? What kind of future do you want?"

"I don't know." I buried my face in Tora's chest and managed to make her laugh.

"A lot of people are going through the same thing as you, Tomomi. Just relax. You're still young" Tora stroked my head.

"But I want to have a purpose in life!"

"You already have it. You even gave it to me."

"I didn't give you anything, Tora-san. And you even bothered to come here to accompany me," I sighed, not believing that a person like me could live quietly by relying on others.

"Listen to my explanation, dear Tomomi. If I never met you, maybe I would get worse, Misaki was further out of my reach. You're the one who gave me the courage to get up again. Therefore, I accept you to be my future destiny. Youunderstand?" Tora raised my face, then smiled.

This handsome guy is really driving me crazy. My heart has even done the rain-calling dance. My face is hot like a thermos and the color must be as red as a boiled crab.

"So, Ayase Tomomi, just stay by my side because that's where your life is going. Don't ever leave me" said Tora softly. His eyes bewitched me to keep looking at him.

"Stop!" I cried while covering Tora's mouth with my hand.

Tora laughs. "What else is it?"

"There's nothing." I lost to a Yakuza.
