My wife's lover

My wife's lover
chapter 87

"Mas sure you want to come to court alone?" ask wife.

"Mas sure, yank! If you come later you can get dizzy," I refused subtly.

"Yes, mas. Especially if someone is arguing later, I can get dizzy. But I'm also worried that you're coming alone."

"There's definitely a debate there, yank. Mas is also actually lazy if not for the sake of Alya. Besides, I'm used to coming to court myself, yank. You don't have to worry."

"Yes, mas. May Alya get justice, yes!"

"Aamijin! Must be, yank. I will fight it!"

"Yes, mas. If you need anything, tell me. Don't be a burden alone!"

"Yes. Take it easy, I'll always share anything with you, yank."

Hhh, I might have told my wife some serious trouble. His illness did not allow him too much thought. And I need to be able to take care of her feelings for her physical health as well as her heart.

The trial will start in two hours. I should've arrived at the court at nine. Because today is the first hearing of David's case. Yes, even though I was lazy to come and meet again with my ex-wife and her husband.

I've prepared the car for my activities today. I'll take the kids to their school first.

"Let our children leave now, it's almost seven o'clock!" I called the children who were still chatting in the family room after breakfast.

"Yes, yeah!" sahut them.

I carried my daughter and then put her in the car.

I drove the car to my children's school first after that I went to the minimarket. I stopped by the minimarket for a while to meet Mr. Seto and his friends.

Those who will build a minimarket on the recommendation of Mr. Daniel. I also have to hand over the design that my wife has made to Mr. Seto.

Arriving at the minimarket, Mr. Seto and his friends have arrived. After parking the car, I went straight to them.

"Assalammu'alaikum," I said.

"Wa'alaikumsalam," they said.

"Brother has been here a long time? I'm sorry I brought the kids to school first!" my spoken.

"Oh, that's okay, Mr. Anto. We have also just arrived" replied Mr. Seto.

"Sorry, sir. I can't stay long because I have business elsewhere. I just wanted a design made by my wife. What are the plans of the fathers to build?" I explained while handing over the minimarket design paper that my wife made last night.

"The plan is for me and my friends to build the former house first, sir."

"Alright, sir!" sahutku.

We then discussed the problem of minimarket construction which started from the house we just bought it. About the materials, the time needed and also the cost. The plan is I will go to the workshop Mr. Sugi to order a trellis for the stairs and also the guardrail on the upper floor. It's been a long time since I've stopped by Sugi's workshop.

After that I said goodbye and immediately drove my car towards the Court.

The clock showed me eight o'clock I got to court. I saw my ex-wife Lisa sitting with a middle-aged father. Those fathers if I notice her face looks a lot like Lisa's husband David. Could it be David's father?

Oh yes I remember Alya once said that his parents David ever tried to hug and kiss him. If it was time for me to testify, I would also tell you what my daughter was going through in that house. I won't stay silent if my daughter gets mistreated.

Finally I chose to sit on the bench outside because I did not want to look directly at Lisa. I was also lazy to talk to that woman. I don't want to be the center of people's attention just because of it.

Shortly after that, David came with a man half baby. Maybe he's about fifty years old. Is that his lawyer? Hopefully they can hire a lawyer because otherwise, I don't know how many years of punishment he'll receive. I don't know if David was involved in anything other than kidnapping my daughter.

We all stood up as the Assembly of Judges entered the courtroom.

The trial began. A Public Prosecutor began reading out his demands. After that a middle-aged man who had come with David also came forward to speak. It turns out to be true my guess that he was David's Legal Counsel.

Everyone is focused on listening. After the Public Prosecutor and his Legal Counsel David finished speaking, it was my turn to sit in a chair before the Assembly of Judges as a witness. I was also asked to swear.

I was then asked to tell the true chronology. I also began to tell the story of the beginning from the time my daughter was taken from school until Alya accident. Not to forget I also told about the incident that my daughter experienced while at the house of my ex-wife's in-laws.

Suddenly the man sitting with my ex-wife stood up and shouted. She denied everything I had just said about my daughter being hugged and kissed forcibly.

Apparently true, the man next to Lisa was David's parents. Thank God, the police who had come to the house to ask for information from Alya had recorded and recorded everything my daughter said. So my testimony was not made up because my daughter's testimony was taken directly by the police.

Finally, David's parents were asked to provide information, as well as Lisa.

After a lengthy debate, the trial was adjourned for another week. I rushed off the court before Lisa came to see me because I saw Lisa glancing straight at me. It seems like he's going to talk to me.

And sure enough, when I just got in the car, Lisa was running towards me. I drove my car at high speed. I heard a little scream calling my name. He must have strongly objected to my testimony earlier especially when listening to Alya's voice recording.

I drove my car to the minimarket. Instead of dizzy thinking about my ex-wife's business, I better take care of the minimarket.

I parked the car in an ordinary place, then went to the house to be built. I hired ten builders. After controlling the house that is now flat with the ground, I then go to the office to do my work as usual.

After my work is done I go to the barn. In the warehouse there was only Melly's mother alone. The woman was putting some items in the trolly to take to the minimarket.

"Assalammu'alaikum," I said.

Melly's mother turned her head, "Wa'alaikumsalam, Mr. Anto," she replied, bowing her head.

"Everything's good, isn't it, mbak?"

"Hmm, thank God you're good, sir!"

"Thank God. How's Davina doing?"

"Davina, thank God my daughter is good, sir."

"Hmm, I've lived!" pamitku then immediately left the warehouse.
