Coming home from the Mall, I immediately drove my family home. Because it was late afternoon, Santi wanted to go straight home because he also felt tired.
All the way home, he was still cool with his daydreams and we wouldn't have talked to each other if I hadn't started the conversation. Unlike when he was about to go to my house this afternoon, he was so cheerful and excited.
Until we arrived at his house he was still silent.
"Mr?" my broom.
He glanced, "Yes,mas?"
"That's a big deal, huh? Or is his head dizzy? I asked who was answered by the head without looking at me.
"If you keep quiet, I'd better just go home!"
"Wanna go home?" she's shocked.
"Hhhh, from earlier I was a lot silent. Is my family wrong or misspeaking?" I'm still curious.
"There's no, um. I'm not papa!" answer me Santi.
"There really is nothing?" ask again.
"Yes,mas."
"So when do we get married?"
"Don't you have to marry me?"
"Why do you think like that?" I asked back.
"No papa, mas. I just want to make sure."
"Are you in doubt after meeting my family?"
"No-no, kok!"
"Then why? Let's be honest before we get married. I don't want to fail a second time just because of the regret that came too late!" my firmness.
He was silent, as if he were thinking.
"Hmm, mum. Are you sure you won't be back with your ex-wife?" ask her still looking at the window.
"What, mbak? Why ask like that? He and I were divorced a few months ago. And I will never forgive what is called treason!" my firmness.
He was silent, probably busy with his own thoughts.
"Hhmm, forgive me, ma'am! I do not mean. . . "
"He's my past! That feeling just disappeared ever since I saw his betrayal myself! I didn't even think I'd get married again until I met you!"
"Hmm, yeah! Im sorry. I don't mean to offend you!"
I just smiled thinly.
"So mbak still want to continue what is not? Before everything's done."
"If mas?"
Hhh, I sighed softly, "Doubt not me! I've explained everything about me and my family!"
"Hmm, i. I still want to continue," he said slowly with his face down
"Remain, huh? Because if we're married, I won't divorce unless I betray me!"
He looked up and nodded his head.
"So when do we want to get married?" ask again.
"I'm up to you."
"Hmm, fine if it's up to me. One more year, yeah!" gurauku.
"W-what?" tanyanya. His face looks disappointed.
I smile, "Why? Too fast, hhmm?"
"Whatever!" ketus answer.
"What a sudden answer? So one more year, yeah!"
"Yes, one more year wait I'm not in the world!" he said with a trembling voice.
I smiled as I glanced at him, "The end of this month, hmm?"
He immediately turned his head, "Right, amas?"
I smiled and nodded my head, "Do you want to?"
He then nodded. His sad face immediately shone.
"You want maghrib!" my spoken.
"Mas dinner here, huh?" her door.
"What is cooking asking me to eat here?"
"Hmm, what would you like to eat?"
"Whatever you cook for!" I answered while looking at him closely.
His face immediately flushed. This is the first time I've called him 'you'.
"Hmm, fine mas. I cook first, yeah! Where are you going to wait?"
"W-what?" santi is shocked.
"Why? Can't you, huh?"
"Bo-can do,mas!" he answered with a embarrassed smile.
I followed him into the kitchen. I sat down at the table facing directly towards the kitchen.
Santy's mother began preparing the cooking ingredients. Sometimes he glanced at me and then blushed in shame when caught by me.
I heard the sound of the Azan in the mosque.
"It is time to pray Maghrib. I'm going to the mosque first, yes!" pamit.
"Oh yes, mas," he said.
I then went to the mosque not far from Santi's house. Coming home from the mosque I waited on the terrace because said aunt, Santi's mom was in her room. After waiting 5 minutes Santi went out. He changed his clothes.
"Mass? Has it been a long time?" tanyakanya.
"Not long, kok!" my answer.
"Evening is ready, ma'am. Eat now, yuk!" bring him.
I followed him into the house. Food is on the dining table. Santi's mother then took me rice along with side dishes and vegetables.
"Please eat, mas. I hope you like."
I smiled, "I'd love it, kok!"
We were busy with our plates and spoons. After finishing eating and cleaning the dining table, Santi invited me to sit in the living room.
"May I ask?" I asked when we were sitting in the living room.
"By kok, mas. What do you want to ask?"
"Well, how old are you now?"
He was silent for a moment as if he was thinking.
"I am-I am old, ammas," he answered softly.
"It's old, fifty years old, huh?"my many.
"Do I look like a fifty-year-old, ma'am?" tanyanya.
I smiled, "You said it was old. So I think it's old it's fifty years old dong!" my answer.
He then smiled, "I am thirty-four years old, gold!" the answer.
I nodded my head.
"Well, how much? Must be young, right?" tanyakanya.
"Thirty-four years old, kok. And you don't look that old. You look younger."
"Hmm, masasa masa? I look older."
"Tell, kok!"
"What age are you?" ask Santi.
"I'm 30 years old, baby!" my answer.
He just glanced at me, "Aren't you ashamed of having an older wife?" tanyakanya.
"What makes you ashamed?" I asked back.
"Yes it might be."
I shook my head, "That's no problem. What do you want our wedding to be like?"
"I want something simple, Mom. Marriage is enough" he replied.
"Oh, yeah. Later I will invite a neighbor near my mother's house with a close friend of mine. It's okay, isn't it?
"Yes,mas. It's okay, kok. I also only invite the right-left neighbors to the same minimarket employees."
"Alright I'll take care of the terms immediately."
"Yes,mas."
"Then I go home first. It's late, but I'm here again!" then I got up from sitting.
"Yes, be careful on the road, yeah. Thanks for today!" said it.
"I should be grateful. You took my family for a walk today.
He smiled, "I'm happy. I haven't been out for a long time." he said, and then we got out of the house. After saying goodbye, I then immediately left the house mbak Santi. Hopefully my marriage will not fail again this time. . .
