My wife's lover

My wife's lover
chapter 21

I just got home from work. My son Andre approached me with an invitation letter. I scrunched my forehead. Invitation from whom. My inner.

I read the invitation letter. I was shocked even though I had guessed for a long time. It was Lisa's wedding invitation with her affair that I just found out turned out to be David Pradana. Their marriage will be held in one week.

I saw my son as if he were daydreaming. I know Andre must be sad and disappointed to know his mother is getting married again.

"Where's Alya's sister?" I asked Andre.

"Adek Alya is still in the grandmother's house, dad," replied Andre slowly.

"Dad take a shower, yeah. After that we pray magrib in the mosque," said I who was given a nod by Andre.

I immediately took a towel and went into the bathroom. After finishing the bath I took Andre to go to the mosque. After the mosque I picked up Alya at my mother's house.

I sat in the living room. Mom came up to me and sat next to me.

"Lisa's getting married again" my mother explained.

"Yes, ma'am," I replied.

"You're patient, son!" mom says.

"I'm okay, mom. I don't love him anymore" I explained.

"So the one who received the invitation was Alya while she was playing outside with her friends. So Alya knew that her mother would marry again" explained my mother.

I took a heavy breath. How else could this be the fate of my children. I just can't bear to see their sadness.

"Do you want to come to Lisa's wedding?" ask mother.

"God willing I will come, Mother. I'll show them I'm strong! I really don't love Lisa anymore!"

"But you don't make a fuss there, do you?" pinta mother.

"Of course, ma'am. I'm not gonna embarrass myself. I'm not gonna look for a commotion there. I'll show them both that I'm strong!"

Soon Alya took her home to the boarding house, "Yeah, yuk home. I'm sleepy."

I nodded, "Let's go home" I said.

After saying goodbye to my mother, we went home after first stopping by the food stall to buy a side dish for our dinner because this morning I did not have time to cook.

***

The day before Lisa's wedding, I intend to buy my two children clothes to wear to their mother's wedding.

"Alya doesn't want to come, Dad," Alya refused with a grim face.

"Andre won't come either!" Andre.

"Darling, you're horrifying dad, yeah! If the two of you don't come, then your mother will think that father forbade you to come. You don't want your mom to think badly of you?" rayuku's on them.

"But, yeah. Mom's been mean to us!" said Andre.

"Who said? You can't think that, yeah. Your mother is not evil. She loves you guys!"

"Darling what, huh? I don't love us anymore!" andre again.

"Hhhmm, there is no mother who does not love her child!" I said slowly but with emphasis.

"But the proof when we met at the tent stall, my mom didn't care as much as Alya."

"Darling, it's daddy, yes! Maybe at that time I was upset with my dad."

Hhh, I took a long breath. I don't know how to make my two children hate their mother anymore.

"But, son. Encourage me to come to your mother's wedding. Father's time came alone. Show your mother that you're okay as long as you're with me!" my door with a pleading face.

Andre and Alya looked at each other.

"Alright, yeah. For father's sake, Andre wants to accompany father to come to mother's wedding," said Andre languidly.

I turned to look at my daughter who was also looking at me. I'm waiting for the answer.

"Alya also wants to accompany father," he said later.

I smiled and embraced my two children, "Thank you, son. You are an understanding child. Forgive me for not being able to make you happy" I said, wiping their heads.

We then went to the market. I'll buy some nice clothes for my kids. I don't want them to be underestimated by people especially by their mothers.

After driving around the market and getting what we were looking for, we immediately went back to the boarding house.

***

It was Lisa's wedding day. My two children and I are getting ready. I asked my sister Aminah for help to tidy up Alya's appearance. My daughter looks so beautiful. People say, my daughter looks a lot like me.

After Alya's appearance was neat, I then took my two children to go to their mother's wedding by renting a motorcycle.

With a threesome, I drove the motorcycle to the address listed on the invitation. Getting there was quite a lot of guests who came but I did not see a guarantee there maybe Lisa just married in series.

I've prepared an envelope in my pants pocket for later I give it when I finish the event. With a Rigid step I took my two children. I told my son not to cry there.

When we arrived, all eyes were on us. Because no one recognized us there so the three of us sat down on the chair that was near the entrance.

Lisa and her affair was shocked when she saw the arrival of the three of us. But then they turned their faces away. Five minutes later, the marriage was finalized. It's true that Lisa only married in series.

My ex-wife still looks beautiful but now her beauty can no longer make my heart shake maybe because my love is lost buried by her betrayal.

Shortly thereafter, the wedding ceremony was completed. Everyone congratulated the two brides. After all the guests finished congratulating me, it was my turn and my two children.

We walked up to them with my two children standing to my right and left.

"Congratulations, yes" I said as I offered the envelope I had prepared. After congratulating Lisa, I immediately passed by without giving a word to her mistress. My two children congratulated their mother.

"Mother exclaims Alia," cried Alya. My daughter was holding back her tears.

I hurriedly took my two children away from there without having time to enjoy the dishes provided.

Before I left I had a chance to see Lisa's husband's first wife. We looked at it long enough. At that time she was holding her young baby and next to her sat a little girl probably the same age as Aliya. Maybe it was her son too, lest I know but I could see there was sadness on the look on the face of the first wife of Lisa's husband.
