My wife's lover

My wife's lover
chapter 18

I rode my bike uninspired. My mind was so scared that I couldn't think clearly. I sat at the post for a moment. I can't go home right now because it's still noon. After a bit of calm, I paddled my bike back slowly.

I then went around in the back alley of the shop. After an hour of walking around I saw a half-built house. I approached the house. There are some people who are working on the house. I offered my brochure, but they ordered a fence and a trellis a few weeks ago. I came late. Maybe not my recipe. Be patient and do not forget to keep praying.

I went back to pedaling my bike around the other alley. Until the ashar, I did not get a single person who wanted to order. Most of them had already ordered in advance. I then stopped by the mosque for Ashar prayers after that I returned to a more distant location but maybe because I had not had my sustenance, until almost 5 pm I did not get a single order.

I finally came home. When I got home, I went to the bathroom to clean myself up. After finishing the bath I took Andre to the mosque to pray magrib. After returning home from the mosque we had dinner together.

The next morning, as usual, I drove my son to school. After driving them I stopped by Budi's house. Budi greeted me with a face in the bend. Looks like she's sad after I'm no longer working at Mr. Toni's building.

"To, how did you stop working, anyway. It doesn't feel good to me if there's no one in the store" Budi lamented as I was just sitting on the front porch of his house.

"And there's still others, Bud," I said lethargicly.

"Yes, but I'm not as close as they are to you. Oh yeah, I'm now dropping off the same guy Adi's order. His man is not deft, he must be in the commandments first and then he wants to move. No understanding at all. His son also males the Adi. Ah, make it upset every day," complained Budi again.

"Patience, Bud," I replied, trying to cheer him up.

"Oh yes I want to tell you if the person who ngajak you noisy yesterday turned out not to be buying goods in the store Mr. Toni. He actually canceled his order when you were fired because of him," explained Budi.

My eyes are perfectly round. So what's his real purpose, "I actually have a problem with that guy, Bud," I explained.

"So you've known this guy before?" ask Budi in shock.

"Yes, I know who he is."

"Oh, maybe he was deliberately looking for you, To?" He is suspicious of his wrinkled forehead.

"I don't know, Bud."

"What's your problem with that guy?" ask Budi curious.

"But you have to keep this a secret, Bud?"

Budi nodded quickly. "Yes. What's your problem with that guy?"

"She's Lisa's cheating," I'm obviously raucous.

Your eyes widen, "Are you sure, To? You don't just talk like that" asked Budi in disbelief. He kept looking at me.

"Of course I'm sure! I've met that person several times and caught them while cheating" I said slowly but with emphasis on my every word.

Budi sighed, "Simply, surely he deliberately sought because of you so that you could get fired."

I shook my head weakly, "Yes, I don't know either, Bud," I said softly.

"Well, they've hurt you but still not satisfied until still have to find a cause with you. They are really evil. I'll tell you this same boss!!'" speak with emotion.

"Don't, Bud. I don't want people to know about Lisa's behavior on the outside. Let it be, I hope it's a silver lining and I can get a better job soon."

"To, but you're innocent. This can't be allowed. Boss should know that you're in a trap. You're not wrong. Because of that guy, you lost your job."

"Hhh, it's okay, Bud. Maybe not my recovery."

Budi took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, "Then how, you don't have a job anymore?"

"Today I'm going to find a job. In the meantime I'll just find the workshop order."

"Yes, but that's not sure, To."

"Hhh, just pray, Bud."

Take a rough breath. "You're patient, To. Hopefully you can get a new job soon. Better than at Toni's store."

"Aamiinu. Thank you, Bud."

"So how did you divorce Lisa?"

"Aamiinu. Hopefully your problem will be solved quickly yes, To," said Budi while patting my shoulder.

"Aamiinu. Thank you, bud. Yeah, I'm gonna go first who knows I can get a new job today" I said.

"Yes,To. Be careful on the road. I will pray for you."

"Yes, I'll go first. You also want to work." I said while standing up followed by Budi.

"Yes, To." said Budi.

I left Budi's house. I took my bicycle slowly but by noon I had not received any orders.

I rested for a while in the mosque for the Zuhr prayer. Hungry, I bought some fried food just to get my hungry stomach. After being full enough, I returned to pedaling my bike down the alley by alley even to go to the next Village.

Maybe not my sustenance, until the afternoon I did not get a new order or job. I then pray ashar for a while in the mosque that is on the side of the road. After that I continued to look for orders in the alleys in the direction of the house.

My mother's house is close, but I didn't get an order today. I hope I get a new job tomorrow.

Arriving home I saw the children playing in the yard. I put my bike next to the house. The next day I went back to looking for a job but until noon, I still did not get a job or order in the workshop.

I decided to go home. When I just got home, suddenly there was a Budi behind me. He's calling me.

"Anto!" his yell.

I turned to him, "What's up, Mom?" my many.

"Budi then thrust a white envelope into my hand, "This, I was in the same row with boss Toni," explained Budi.

I scrunched my forehead and opened the white envelope. My eyes are rounded. It turned out that the contents of the envelope were my salary for a month.

"This is my salary for 1 month, Bud," I said.

"I don't know, To. The boss just left it to me," explained Budi.

"Alhamdulillah. Yes thank you, Bud."

"Yes, To. You welcome. How, did you get a new job?"

I shook my head weakly, "Yet, Bud."

"You're trying to get back to working at the store. Who knows if the boss will take you again."

"No,Bud. I'll just find another job. I'm not good enough with Toni's mas," I refused subtly.

"Hmm, if Toni's boss knows about your problems, he'll regret firing you for not knowing himself."

"Leave it, Bud. God is not sleeping. There will be a way for me. Let God avenge every evil deed of men upon us."

"Yes, To. Yes, I went home first, yes, I want maghrib. Later often play to my house," said Budi.

"Yes, This is Allah, Bud. You also play here often, yes! Be careful on the road!" my spoken.

I went into the house and took a shower. I'm grateful that boss Toni is still willing to pay me a full month's salary even though I haven't worked three weeks. Alhamdulilah, while I still have the money handle to connect life one month ahead. Every event in life, we do not need to regret it let alone complain to anger. Be patient and face it with a sincere heart. In the Lord, there will always be the best way that God has given us.
