MY STEPBROTHER'S REPLACEMENT

MY STEPBROTHER'S REPLACEMENT
Chapter #9

One month had been the age of Rietta and Henry's marriage, since the day that his two parents-in-law had been staying since then Rietta had slept in Henry's room.

But after that Henry rarely came home, if ever home always late at night, whether what Henry did out there, maybe he was too busy, he was too busy, or maybe he accompanied Julia in the hospital, Rietta did not want to guess what Henry did.

One month also Julia's condition remains the same there is no significant change with Julia's condition, once Rietta saw Julia when she was going to meet Lucy at the same hospital where Julia was being treated.

Rietta was quite pity with the condition that Julia was in, when Rietta saw it all she got was a sharp look and a curse from Dorothy for her.

She never liked Rietta and her mother.

And the plan is Rietta will return to Switzerland to check the restaurant owned by his mother, Rietta had left the restaurant too long.

He would ask Henry's permission before going to Switzerland, whether Henry would allow it or not, Rietta would have to keep asking for Henry's permission.

It was almost ten in the evening, but Henry had not yet returned, Henrietta deliberately waiting for Henry to speak to the man.

To get rid of her sleepiness Henrietta walked into the kitchen and made some hot chocolate and some snacks, she turned on the television and watched a horror movie, as it would reduce her drowsiness.

Until eleven o'clock in the evening there was no sign of Henry going home.

Henrietta decides to return to her room and wait for Henry there, before leaving Henrietta to clean up her food and turn off the television.

He climbed the stairs and walked towards Henry's room which he had occupied for this month.

Henrietta opened the door and shut it again, she climbed on the bed wrapped around her, as Henrietta's eyes began to close she felt someone open the door.

Henrietta opened her eyes again and saw that Henry had gone home.

"You're home yet?" henrietta asked and sat herself down.

"Mm. .. why haven't you slept yet" Henry said as he opened his suit.

"I'm waiting for you" said Henrietta.

Henry knitted his brows and looked at Henrietta.

"There's something I want to talk to you about" Henrietta said.

"Later Rietta, I was too tired" said Henry and walked to the bathroom.

Henrietta exhaled violently, for a month there was no conversation between them, Henrietta had tried to get closer to Henry, but the man had always kept his distance from her.

Henrietta decided to go to sleep and would talk to Henry next time.

As Henrietta was carried away in her dream, the bathroom door opened, Henry came out with a towel wrapped around her waist.

He looked at the sleeping Henrietta by turning her back.

Then the man walked up to the walk-in closet and picked up his shirt and boxer pants, after Henry finished walking towards the bed and laying down there, he turned his back on Henrietta and began to fall asleep because he was so tired.

*

As usual early in the morning Henrietta had woken up from her sleep, she would do her usual job of cooking breakfast for Henry as well as herself.

Henrietta looked at Henry who was still soundly asleep, sliding his body slowly so as not to wake Henry up.

Henrietta walked to the bathroom to clean herself up.

15 Minutes later Henrietta came out and walked into the walk-in closet, all of Henrietta's clothes being moved there at her mother-in-law's request.

Henrietta immediately came out of her room and walked towards the kitchen, and as usual there was already Aunt Ely and Della.

The more days Henrietta gets closer to the servants at Henry's mansion.

"Good morning" said Henrietta cheerfully.

"Good morning also madam" said aunt Ely and Della in unison.

"What are we going to do today, ma'am?" ask Della.

"We make sandwiches" replied Henrietta.

"Well madam" said Aunt Ely.

"Della?" call Henrietta.

"Yes, ma'am" replied Della and looked at Henrietta.

Della looks at Henrietta with her inattentive face.

"My lady why are you doing that, I don't want to trouble you, I'll work and raise money myself,"

"I'm doing it because I want to, I already think of you like my own sister, so the school is diligent, so you don't have to work here anymore and can find another job, so you can find another one, your age is young and your journey is long" Henrietta said.

"But lady---"

As Della was about to continue her words Henrietta cut her off immediately.

"Don't turn her down, Della, or I'll be mad at you" Henrietta said.

Aunt Ely who saw that was also moved, her mistress was so kind to all the servants here, she did not distinguish them and generalized everything.

"Take Della, an opportunity like this won't come twice" Ely's aunt said.

Della looks at Henrietta with teary eyes.

"May I hug you" Della said in a trembling voice.

"Of course," Henrietta stretched out her arms and Della immediately embraced him.

"Thank you madam" said Della sobbing.

"Learn hard, don't let me down" said Henrietta stroking Della's hair.

For the past two weeks Henrietta has been preoccupied with enrolling in Della's college, and of course Henrietta is not alone, she is helped by Matthew Lucy's lover.

"Stop crying, or we're not gonna finish breakfast" Henrietta chuckled at Della's face.

"You're my sister, if anything tells me," Henrietta said, taking a nod from Della.

Della wiped her tears with the back of her hand and began to neutralize her feelings and went back to work.

It was seven o'clock in the morning but there was no sign of Henry leaving the room.

"I'll see Henry for a second" Henrietta said.

Because Henry is not usually awake, usually the man will wake up at six in the morning and start his sport before going to work.

Henrietta walked up to their room and opened the door, and she saw Henry, still asleep, covering his entire body with a blanket.

He brought himself closer to Henry. "Henry," call Henrietta.

There was no response from the owner of the body.

Henrietta flicked away the blanket that covered Henry's face. "You're not working?"

But all he got was an indistinct mutter from Henry.

Henrietta touched Henry's warm arm in his hand, then moved to touch Henry's forehead. "Oh God .. You have Henry's fever" said Henrietta.

Henry again covered his face with a blanket and turned his back to Henrietta.

"Henry woke up" said Henrietta pulling Henry's large body to his back.

"You nod Rietta," Henry said in a hoarse and weak voice.

"You have a fever, don't cover your body with a blanket like this" Henrietta opened Henry's blanket to the chest.

"I'll go to the kitchen first, take your breakfast, you'll have to take medicine" Henrietta said.

Henrietta walks out of the room and back to the kitchen, she'll make porridge for Henry.

"Mrs, what are you doing?" ask a servant who approached Henrietta.

"I was making porridge for Henry, he had a fever" Henrietta said.

15 Minutes later the porridge Henrietta had made was finished, and he brought it back up.

"Don't forget to bring warm water to compress Henry, and also bring ginger tea to the top" said Henrietta.

"Okay, ma'am" replied the waiter.
