Chapter #12

"You just wait in the car" Henrietta told Henry.

Henry squinted his eyes at Henrietta sitting beside him, while Della only looked at the two men from the back seat.

"Why should I wait here" Henry said.

"Hey ... You forgot who you are? Everyone knows who you are, if you get out of the same car with me, people will talk about me ... Remember, your status is still Julia's fiancee" Henrietta said.

Henry said nothing to answer Henrietta's words.

"Alright, but not for too long" said Henry.

"Who told you to come along" said Henrietta.

As Henrietta and Della are about to leave, Henry decides to go with them.

"Come on Della .." take Henrietta.

Della follows Henrietta out of the car and walks into the cafe, where Leo is waiting for them.

While Henry was observing them from the car, Henry could see clearly when Henrietta and Della met a young man sitting alone by the window.

"Sorry, we're late" Henrietta said.

"It's okay," replied Leo flatly.

"Della, sit down" said Henrietta.

Della decides to sit next to Henrietta and confront the handsome Leo man.

"Leo, introduce her to Della, and Della she's Leo" Henrietta said.

"Hay .." said Della.

"Mm ..."

Henrietta, who saw Leo's attitude, felt anxious himself, he clapped Leo's hand on the table.

"Don't be too stiff on her, you'll make her feel uncomfortable with you" Henrietta said.

"I am like this" Leo said.

"I'm sorry she's Della, she was like that, the first time I met her she was like that so annoying ... But, you'll get used to it for a long time" explains Henrietta and Della just nodding her head.

"You're not dating, are you?" ask Henrietta to make sure.

"No," Leo replied casually.

Henrietta breathed a sigh of relief and fused her hands together.

Della and Leo looked at Henrietta in surprise.

"So, if you're always with Della and helping her, no one will be angry with Della for coming near you" Henrietta said.

When Henrietta was talking to Leo, suddenly his phone rang and there was a message coming in from an unknown number.

(Hurry, why so long)

Henrietta looked out through the large window beside her.

'Why is this guy so weird today? Had his brain been compromised when he was sick yesterday, ' Henrietta thought.

"Well, I have to go now" Henrietta said.

"Della, you can go with Leo to see your college," Henrietta said.

Henrietta draws herself closer to Della and whispers something. "I'm warning you not to look too often at his handsome face, you'll be caught in his trap later,"

Henrietta seduces Della and at once Della's ears turn red in embarrassment.

"Well I stay now, you can drive Della home when she's done" Henrietta said, drawing a nod from Leo.

Henrietta stood up from her seat and walked out, she didn't order anything there, because she had just finished breakfast.

"Why are you so long ago" Henry grumbled after Henrietta got into the car.

"Why are you so chatty, I haven't even left you here for an hour, who told you to come" Henrietta said.

"Where are we now?" henry asked, when he had driven his car.

"You don't want to shop?" ask Henry.

"You want to pay for everything?" ask back Henrietta.

"Why not," said Henry lightly.

"We go home, I'm lazy" Henrietta replied.

Henry looked at Henrietta at a glance, after which he focused again on the streets that were not too crowded.

Henrietta and Julia are two very different women who are in her life, Henrietta is not the type of woman who likes to squander money and prefers to be at home, while Julia prefers to be outside and can spend her time only in the mall.

Henry increased the speed of his car so they could get home quickly.

As Henrietta was focusing on the street beside her, her phone suddenly rang, smiling happily at the name on her screen.

And Henry saw the very face of Henrietta upon receiving the call.

"Hello Luke?" greet Henrietta with pleasure.

Henry knitted his eyebrows when the name of the man called Henrietta.

"I'm good, how are you?" ask Henrietta.

"I'm good too, but a little lonely if there's no you" said the man named Luke and teased Henrietta.

Henrietta chuckles little hearing Luke's temptation for her.

"When are you going home? Why so long in New York" Luke said on the phone.

"I don't know yet, if I go back to Switzerland I'll call you right away" Henrietta replied.

"What about Uncle James?" ask Henrietta.

"Daddy's good, he always asks when you're coming home" Luke said.

Henrietta chatted with Luke over the phone for a long time until it didn't feel like they had reached Henry's mansion.

"We've arrived" Henry said in his flat voice.

"really? I was too cool to talk until I was unconscious" Henrietta told herself.

Henrietta got out of the car, after Henry got out first.

Henrietta followed Henry from behind in a leisurely walk.

When Henry opened the big door it turned out that the door had been opened first from the inside and showed a middle-aged woman who still looks beautiful at her age who had entered the head of five.

"Mom!" said Henry.

"New from the outside?" ask Emma.

"Mom's? You here?" asked Henrietta who had just realized the whereabouts of her mother-in-law.

Emma immediately approached Henrietta and immediately embraced her, ignoring Henry's presence there.

"Ohh ... Mommy misses you so much" Emma said.

"When did mommy come?" ask Henry.

"Just now, mommy immediately told your daddy to come here, when he heard you were sick yesterday," said Emma.

Henry seemed to be exhaling violently.

He did not ask the mother again and went straight into the mansion.

"Where have you been?" emma asked Henrietta while taking her in.

"We've just taken Della to meet my best friend's cousin's sister, she'll help Della while she's in college at the same place as him" Henrietta replied.

"Mommy's eating?" ask Henrietta.

"We stopped by the restaurant for a while before we got here" Emma replied.

Emma takes Henrietta to the back garden to have a light conversation between the daughter-in-law and the in-laws.

While accompanied by warm tea and snacks made by Henrietta make the atmosphere more comfortable between them.

Henrietta even occasionally tells about his childhood, and of course he does not talk about Marco at all.
