MY STEPBROTHER'S REPLACEMENT

MY STEPBROTHER'S REPLACEMENT
Chapter #5

Henrietta placed a cup of coffee near Henry when she found out he was at the dinner table.

Without saying anything, Henry immediately sipped the steaming coffee, while Henrietta would return to the kitchen to pick up the tea.

"Mrs this is your tea" said Della who came to Henrietta with Henrietta's tea.

"Thank you Della" said Henrietta.

Henrietta blew on the tea before she sipped it.

Two servants approached them and placed two pancake dishes in front of Henry and Henrietta.

Henry immediately ate the pancakes smeared with maple syrup, just ate a mouthful of Henry immediately stopped eating.

Henrietta who saw Henry's reaction began to open her voice. "Is it bad?" ask Henrietta.

"It feels a little different to what I eat a lot," this is the longest sentence Henrietta has heard since yesterday.

"I made it myself" said Henrietta, displaying a smile.

Actually Henrietta does not want to be too hopeful for a relationship, let alone this is only temporary. But, if Henry treated himself well as long as they were married then Henrietta would be a good wife anyway.

"Certainly assisted by Aunt Ely and Della" Henrietta said.

"It's delicious" said Henry and resumed eating the morning.

And so with Henrietta he went back to eating it voraciously.

After finishing breakfast Henry immediately went to his company, he should have taken a leave of absence today because he was just married.

Everyone knows that if Julia Henry's fiancee had an accident the day before they were married, Julia's family also tells her that Julia and Henry's marriage will be postponed until Julia recovers.

And no one really knows if Henry is married to someone else, except for Henry and Julia's parents.

When Henry was gone, Henrietta decided to tour Henry's mansion accompanied by Della.

"You have Della's family?" ask Henrietta.

"Had, I still have a father, but he's remarried and lives with his wife and stepson" Della said.

"Is your father nice to you?" Henrietta turned her attention to Della.

"Yes, she's very kind and so is my mother and step-sister,"

"How old is your stepbrother?"

"15 years old lady," replied Della.

"You're very lucky, at least if your father remarries but he's got a good wife and a good stepmother for you" a soft tone came out of Henrietta's mouth.

"Then why are you working here?" Henrietta asked Della again and Della answered happily.

"I just want to go to school and I don't want to burden them, so I work" Della replied with a smile on her face.

"How long have you been working here?" ask Henrietta.

"New five months madam," Della said.

It did not feel like they had been more than thirty minutes walking around Henry's spacious mansion.

When he reached the back garden Henrietta saw a large tree with a swing that resembled a chair, he walked towards the tree and was followed by Della.

"Sit down, Della" said Henrietta, patting the empty spot next to her.

Della hesitantly follows the orders of her young mistress.

"During your time working here did Julia come here often?" henrietta asked in the end, she was very curious because she could not find a photo of Julia anywhere.

Henrietta fused her beautiful brows in confusion.

"Why is that?" ask Henrietta.

"I don't know much, madam. But, according to another servant because miss Julia has not become the wife of the master, she said, because for the host is his personal place even though everyone knows if Miss Julia is the fiancee of the master but for the master if not already a wife then she should not come here," explained Della.

Henrietta nodded her head in response to the explanation given by Della.

"Do you think Henry loves Julia?" henrietta asked suddenly.

"I don't know mistress ... Perhaps, if seen in various media the way you treated Miss Julia could have loved her very much," Della gave a logical answer to Henrietta.

It was evident when Henry held a big engagement that was even covered by the famous media, and how the man treated Julia like a queen in front of everyone.

"Missy, why are you asking that question?" della asked who was astonished by her mistress.

"There's nothing, I just want to know" replied Henrietta.

Henrietta had been there for a long time, she was very focused on enjoying the expanse of green grass and looking at the roses that were blown by the wind.

"Today's weather is very sunny" Henrietta said.

"Suitable for a picnic" he continued.

"Yes ... You're right madam," Della also admitted that today the weather was very sunny.

"How about we have a picnic tomorrow? No need to go far, here is enough," suggested Henrietta with a cheerful face.

Henrietta loved to go on picnics, while Henrietta lived in Switzerland she often took the children of the orphanage to go on picnics with her.

And Della nodded at Henrietta.

Because this has entered the summer so the weather is quite hot, unlike a few days ago that fell heavy rain.

Henrietta looks at her phone and there's a message coming in from her best friend, Lucy.

"Let's Della we go back inside, I have to meet my friend" Henrietta said.

Della follows Henrietta back into the mansion.

The distance from the back garden to the main mansion was quite far, it was colored Henry had a fairly large land, he could even make one more large mansion there.

Henrietta went straight to her room to change clothes and wash her face, because she had taken a shower early in the morning, while Della returned to her work which was delayed because she had to accompany Henrietta around the mansion.

Henrietta appeared to descend the stairs after 15 minutes of her preparation.

Henrietta wears a white sabrina dress with a knee length, and heels 3 cm in matching color, her long hair she let unravel, and her face only in thin make-up.

"Miss you want to get out?" ask Aunt Ely who saw Henrietta just coming down the stairs and look neat.

Henrietta smiled her beautiful smile and replied to Aunt Ely. "Yes ... I have an appointment with my best friend,"

"In that case, I'll have the driver drive you" Ely's aunt said.

"No need, I've booked a taxi, and my taxi is waiting in front" Henrietta said.

"But ma'am, you'd be safer to get between drivers" suggested Ely's aunt, who was afraid something might happen to Henrietta.

"Nothing is going to happen, I'm just for a moment, don't worry" Henrietta said.

"But nyo-"

Before Ely's aunt could continue, Henrietta cut her off.

"Bye aunt Ely, I'll be home before dinner" said Henrietta, who had walked to the main door.
