MY STEPBROTHER'S REPLACEMENT

MY STEPBROTHER'S REPLACEMENT
Chapter #49

Henry immediately left the park where he met Henrietta.

He entered his parked car not far from the park area, and drove it to the Rodriguez family-owned company now held by Aiden.

For a moment Henry seemed to be breathing out violently with my gaze straight ahead.

Henry drove his vehicle at high speed through the streets of Madrid to vent his frustration on himself.

Several times Henry even hit the steering wheel because he felt annoyed with him.

"And I used to treat him well" Henry's monologue told him.

"It's all because of that old woman" he upset.

Until not ten minutes Henry was in front of the skyscraper.

Henry parked his car in the basement of Aiden's company, got out and walked to the elevator that would take him to the company lobby.

With a flat look and sharp eyes, Henry entered the lobby and it turns out he was waiting for Aiden's assistant.

"Let's sir! Mr. Aiden is waiting for you in his room" said Aiden's assistant.

Henry followed Aiden's assistant and walked behind the man.

The man hit number 27 where Aiden's workspace is located.

Ting ...

The elevator doors opened and Henry again followed Aiden's assistant, until they arrived in front of a large white-painted door.

The man opened the door for Henry and let him in.

From the doorstep Henry can see Aiden who is focusing on his laptop.

Aiden only realized when he heard someone close the door of his study.

"Good day, Mr. Henry," Aiden stood up to greet Henry.

He reached out his hand, and Henry shook Aiden's hand.

"We haven't seen each other in a long time, the last time we met was six years ago, right? At my sister's wedding" said Aiden who deliberately discussed the past.

"Oh yes ... Are you here with your beautiful wife?" aiden asked as he scanned through Henry's every move.

"No!" answer Henry.

"God ... It's a pity that I want to meet him" Aiden said with a slanted smile.

Henry knew that Aiden only wanted to lure him. So he just kept quiet and answered accordingly.

"Can we just go straight to the job" said Henry who began to be careless with every word Aiden.

"All right," said Aiden, who began to act more professionally.

"Please sit down" Aiden told Henry.

Aiden also occupied himself in the seat of his greatness who faced Henry directly.

Henry took out the files that his father's assistant had previously given him.

The conversation went smoothly without any obstacles, and Aiden did not make things difficult for Henry either.

They both work with a professional attitude regardless of the personal problems that Aiden actually saves.

"May our cooperation run smoothly" said Aiden, shaking Henry's hand.

"Yes, hopefully .." reply Henry.

"Hopefully have a great day while you are in Spain and may you have good luck during this time" Aiden said.

"Thank you" said Henry and walked out of Aiden's study.

Henry again stepped his foot down every aisle of Aiden's company.

Until arriving the basement Henry immediately entered his car and drove it to his apartment.

Because there was nothing he wanted to do anymore, other than meet Henrietta.

Meanwhile Henrietta went straight into her room after talking to her grandfather.

His mind raged because of his encounter with Henry.

Henrietta's phone rang and it was a message from someone she had previously sent a message to. After reading it Henrietta put her phone back and her gaze focused on the trees seen on the balcony of her room.

Gts ... Gts ...

He walked to the door of his room and opened it.

"What's the matter, baby?" henrietta asked her daughter.

"Is mommy mad at Rae?" ask Maisie.

Henrietta crouched down to equalize her height with the son, she also rubbed her daughter's blushing chubby cheeks.

"No! Mommy is not angry at Maisie, where maybe mommy is angry at this beautiful daughter of mommy," said Henrietta as she smiled.

Maisie hugged Henrietta while resting her chin on her mother's shoulder.

"Rae is okay if she does not meet daddy, as long as mommy does not get angry at Rae," said Maisie with a typical voice of children her age.

Henrietta stroked her daughter's long hair and kissed her daughter's cheek.

Actually Henrietta knew that her children were so eager to meet their father.

"Is Maisie so eager to meet daddy?" ask Henrietta.

"No," Maisie lied.

"If Maisie and brother become good children and do not bother your uncle during the camp. So, when you come home later you can see daddy," Henrietta finally broke up.

"really?" maisie asked with eyes that looked sparkling with pleasure.

"Mc ... Mommy promised to bring your daddy here when you come home later. But remember, don't bother your uncle,"

"You can trouble and trouble your daddy later," he continued with a smile.

Henrietta has established herself to bring Henry and his two children together.

After seeing her daughter Henrietta's face determined to meet Henry and tell him everything, she didn't want her two children to grow up without a father.

Like him who grew up without the affection of a father who should take care of and protect him.

Henrietta stood up while carrying Maisie in her arms.

"How about now we take care of the things that you will bring tomorrow" Henrietta said.

"Then come on mom," Maisie said with her cheerful face.

They laughed as they walked into Maisie's room.

"Where's Asher?" ask Henrietta.

"Ash was with my great-grandfather" Maisie replied.

"Then call your sister, mommy will take care of your luggage" Henrietta said.

"Good mom" Maisie said.

Maisie came out of her room to call her brother who was in the back garden with Jared.

Henrietta is picking out the clothes her daughter will be carrying tomorrow.

Not many clothes that Henrietta put in Maisie's bag. His two children will stay one night.

Meanwhile in the park behind Maisie was seen approaching her brother and also her grandfather.

"KAKAK ..." cried Maisie.

"Don't yell Maisie" said Asher, who was playing basketball with his grandfather.

Maisie ignored Asher's words, and instead approached her grandfather.

"Great-grandfather, aren't you going to be sick always accompanying Asher to play basketball?" said Maisie who pityed seeing her grandfather.

"No! because grandfather is still strong to play with your brother," said Jared.

"Sister! next time don't bring Grandpa again. Because, later you can play with daddy only," said Maisie with her innocent face.

"What do you mean, baby?" ask Jared.

"Mommy said, after we return from the school event mommy will bring daddy here," said Maisie with a happy face while jumping.

"You're serious?" ask Asher.

"Of course, if you don't believe just ask mommy," Maisie replied.

"But, we must be good children and must not trouble uncle while there," he continued.

While Jared saw the happy face of his great-granddaughter, Jared also knew that Asher was happy too. But, that child was too prestigious to reveal it.
