My Sister's Candidate Becomes My Husband

My Sister's Candidate Becomes My Husband
CAMS - Up 38

"Take me to your room." Aunt Mei's orders while turning her face away from Rain.

Rain is getting sad. Her head drooped weakly behind Aunt Mei. Smiling faintly, he then stepped forward to lead the way without saying a word to Aunt Mei.

Her sadness meant nothing to Aunt Mei or the rest of the family as Rain realized her position was not worth much.

Aunt Mei looked at Rain's room for just a moment. 5 minutes later she walked out of Rain's room without saying her assessment. While holding her chest, Aunt Mei noticed that this house left many traces of Almira. Whether it's through photos, the same flamboyant decorations as the Almira rooms in the house, and the layout of the items that also have similarities to the house.

All this shows that Almira often comes here and even has the privilege to organize this house. Aunt Mei obviously looked very satisfied. He smiled broadly with his head nodding lightly. Satisfied, he then glanced at Rain from the corner of his eyes.

"Follow me out."

"Where are you going, Auntie?" Rain was not very excited.

Asked where Aunt Mei's face had become grim, "Follow me to my husband's place." Cold answer.

"Uncle?" Rain hurriedly opened his phone screen to look at the date.

"Now is the 1st?" Mumbled Rain in shock.

Rain was very surprised to be upset with himself because he could forget something important.

"Hurry over." Urge Aunt Mei to be at the door.

"Wait, Aunt May." She ran into the room to pick up the bag and wallet before coming out following Aunt May.

The two of them then get into Aunt Mei's private car which is parked in front of the apartment yard. Usually Aunt May would drive but for today she would use the driver because every 1st her mood would experience the lowest point in life.

...🌪️🌪️🌪️...

The temperature in the car was very low following the mood of Aunt Mei who was now sitting next to me. On the lap of Aunt May she held a bouquet of red roses that were very fragrant and still fresh, as freshly picked today.

Aunt held a beautiful rose but her eyes seemed to dim. I noticed Aunt Mei looked more at the bouquet than at any other place or direction to ease her mood.

On the 1st of this month my uncle was born and has a birthday. No party or birthday celebration for my Uncle because he's dead. Right, Uncle died without my knowledge 5 years ago and I don't know the exact cause of Uncle's death. Because throughout my time with Uncle, I remember that if Uncle was a strong and healthy cop, he shouldn't have easily left this world.

"Son said if the trauma could be removed by Deon, would it?"

"Oh..." I told Papa once, but this matter was ignored. I thought Papa forgot about it but he didn't.

"I think my trauma can be controlled when I'm with Deon. Because. 'cause near Deon, I was okay touching the kitchen knife yesterday. I'm not sick.so I'll tell Doctor Bimo this matter." Reply doubt.

I did plan to tell Doctor Bimo, the mental doctor who has been with me for 5 years, to escape the bonds of the past - which unfortunately still has not shown a big change until this moment.

Aunt Mei was silent. With my head lowered I could not see what Aunt Mei's current expression was like and what she was thinking right now.

"He's the one who created that trauma, so it's no surprise that he's the one who can treat your trauma." Aunt Mei's tone sounded quite cynical, am I possibly mishearing?

No, let's just say I heard wrong.

I didn't speak anymore, oh, maybe more precisely I didn't know what to say to Auntie Mei because my brain suddenly found a dead end and my tongue felt like it couldn't say anything.

Aunt Mei always responded to me cynically and curiously so I didn't have enough courage to talk to her.

"Mrs, we've arrived."

"Hem." Aunt May then came out with a bouquet of red roses in her hand.

Without asking I followed him right out of the car. As soon as my feet were completely grounded on the ground, my two eyes then wildly watched our surroundings.

This is a burial ground, it looks green and well-maintained. One look I know that this cemetery is only for people who come from rich families.

"You can't go inside, Rain." I was stunned when I heard Aunt Mei say, if I can't get inside then why did Aunt Mei bring me here?

"Because I don't want my husband to meet the killer."

Deg

A killer?

Killer Uncle, what Aunt Mei meant was me?

"I'm..." My chest suddenly felt claustrophobic for some reason.

"Don't pretend to be stupid, Rain. Just because you've been in a coma doesn't mean you can forget everything! Just because you've been asleep for a long time doesn't mean you've forgotten my husband's death!"

I was breathing fast, my chest pounding with a puzzling rumble.

"But I really don't know why Uncle died, Auntie.." I tried to tell my ignorance to Auntie because I really didn't know.

"I told you not to fool me, Rain." Aunt Mei's voice sounded trembling either out of anger or perhaps out of sadness, I don't know.

But I've never seen Aunt May like this.

"That day you called my husband who just got out of the airport after doing some work out of town." Aunty's voice was neither loud nor light but so piercing inside my hearing, my heart felt slashed.

Strange, I suddenly started to remember what I should have remembered and somehow I forgot.
