My Prince Of Edinburgh's

My Prince Of Edinburgh's
Chapter 51. Sabotage.

"Alison, it doesn't seem like this is the way to the hospital" Dara said. Since a while ago, he had been astonished by Alison who seemed to have taken the wrong path. He was supposed to drive the car to the left, but he took a straight path.

"Indeed, no" replied Alison with a grin that made Dara even more astonished.

"What does this mean?" Dara's getting nervous. His feelings became unpleasant.

"Shut up and just obey."

"W-what?"

"Shut up and just obey!" snapped Alison. Not only that, somehow, the girl was now pointing a gun at him. Of course it makes Dara surprised instead of playing.

"Dump your phone!"

Dara who was shocked immediately obeyed Alison's orders. He threw his phone out the window.

"Good, if you think, I won't hurt you."

Dara's face immediately turned deathly pale. He raised his hand sign of surrender. Although in his mind there were many questions, but he tried to refrain from making a sound.

For more than an hour, Alison drove her car out of Edinburgh. They arrived at a courtyard of the house that did not seem well maintained. Alison stops her car in front of a messy-looking terrace, and tells Dara to get out of the car.

"Lake in!" her orders while pushing Dara's back with the tip of her gun. Both of them passed through the terrace and into the unlocked house. Alison takes Dara to an empty room. There was only one chair there, and he told Dara to sit there.

"Why are you doing this?" tanya Dara ventured.

"You'll know in a minute." Alison's still pointing a gun at Dara. "Braden, come here!" yells.

Dara's eyes pane towards the door, where the figure of Braden appears from there, with his smile that looks so sweet and friendly. However, it did not amaze Dara at all. He's not stupid. And he realized, these two people were setting him up. It seems, what Nicholas said that Braden worked for Portia, is true. This must have been the woman.

"Hi, Dara," said Braden as he prepared a rope. "Sorry, I have to tie you up."

"Why are you doing this, Braden?" ask Dara not to believe it. This was the young man who had once tormented him with a feeling of unrequited love. The young man he knew well and was always there when he needed help.

"Well, I need money, Dara" replied Braden while tying Dara's hands behind his back. Then, another rope he used to tie the girl's body to the chair.

"You work for Mrs Johanssen?" dara asked as she shook her head slowly. It was like a dream to see all this reality.

"I can't tell you who I work for" Braden said. "Obviously, you already know who you're dealing with, don't you? You're in big trouble, Dara."

"I really didn't expect ...." The regret in Dara's heart made her chest sore. He regretted that he had wasted tears crying over the young man.

"It's not just a matter of the rich family tradition of matching his children with a matching person. But, this is about their business. And you're a stumbling block, Dara. Youunderstand?" Braden patted Dara on the cheek, but the girl immediately dodged.

Braden chuckles. "You're planning to marry the prince tomorrow, aren't you?" He tilted his head following the direction Dara was staring at. "But I have to say that it's never going to happen."

Dara hissed while turning her eyes to Alison. The girl who usually looked beautiful and gentle looked violent with a gun in her hand. Oh, so naive of her. These two people were not what he had thought so far.

"You're gonna kill me?" dara asked as she challenged the sharp gazes of the two. The fear he felt changed with anger. Knowing this fact really made him angry.

"You think?" Braden chuckled while looking at Alison who was pulling the corner of her lips.

Again, Nicholas is annoyed by Dara while reading a message from the girl. He checked his phone after finishing his job. His intention to go to Thomas' house to pick up the suit he was going to wear tomorrow at church, he was forced to break it. Nicholas wants to quickly return to the apartment and confront Dara.

At the apartment, the girl did not return. His frustration became so when Dara's phone could not be contacted. Without a second thought, he went to the hospital mentioned by Dara in her message to look for the girl. It was dark eyes. If he has to beat Braden tonight, he will do it without hesitation.

However, in the hospital he did not find Dara. Even when he asked the officer, there was no patient named Braden.

Nicholas was in the fog. He went to Alison's flower shop, and it was closed. Then, he moved to the workshop where Braden worked, and all he met was a middle-aged man who claimed to be the young man's uncle. The uncle said Braden quit his job two weeks ago.

Then where's Dara?

"Is it possible that she changed her mind and abandoned her intention to marry you?" thomas said when Nicholas came to his house, to talk about the matter.

"Is that so?" Nicholas scratched his forehead. "Why did he have to run away? Why doesn't he talk to me frankly? I can postpone the wedding. I'll wait until he's ready."

"Eitherway. Women's minds are weird sometimes."

"Or something happened to Dara. I'll have to find her until I see you." Nicholas got up from his seat, but was prevented by Thomas.

"Hey, just calm down, Nic. Maybe you should give him some time to think."

Nicholas shakes. "Something's wrong. Dara's attitude this morning doesn't show that she has any intention of canceling our wedding tomorrow."

"Have you tried calling her again?"

"Hundreds times. No respond."

"So, what are you gonna do?"

"I'll go to the police about the missing person. Dara has no other friends besides Gwen. And they live together. Gwen doesn't know where she is either. His belongings are still in the apartment. If he wanted to calm down, at least he brought some clothes. But, the clothes are still intact in the closet."

"Police won't respond to your report because it's not 24 hours yet, Nic."

"Geez!" Nicholas Ogat. "We're the Johanssen family. We have power in Edinburgh."

Thomas chuckles. "You forgot that you were against your family?"

"Aargha!" nicholas shouted in frustration. He rattled his hair rough. "Breng sek!" mean it.

Thomas tried to calm his brother down by patting his back. But of course it did not help Nicholas much to calm down.

"Find your girlfriend to see you right now, Nic."

The two handsome men who were in disarray in the middle room turned towards the origin of the voice. Magdalene-the wife of Thomas-stands in the doorway. His face looks tense.

"You don't forget what your mother did to me a few days before our wedding, do you, honey?" he said to Thomas.
