From behind the flower rack, Dara noticed Alison who was calling someone. His boss's face looked crisp. Sometimes he stroked his neatly-washed red hair.
"Become!" call Alison to make Dara gasp.
The girl hurriedly approached Alison. "Yes?"
"I'll close the shop fast today. You can finish your job and go home."
"Oh, why?" ask Dara in astonishment.
Alison covered her smile. A happy smile, it seems. "I have business with Braden."
"Owh, okay." Dara swallows her saliva. His throat was suddenly dry. "But, I can keep the shop alone until the clock closes."
"No need, Dara."
Dara nodded. He immediately cleaned up his work, tidying up flower pots on shelves and on the floor that was a little messy after being chosen by customers that day.
A few minutes later, he finished his job. He saw Alison coming out of the door of his room and had changed her clothes with a pretty neat outfit.
"You done yet?" ask Alison.
"Yes." Yeah."
"You can go home, Dara."
Dara nodded. He took his sling bag from the shelf behind the counter and also put on his thick coat to ward off the cold outside.
The two girls left the store at the same time. In front, Dara sees Braden coming out of his car.
"Hi!" alison's greeting to the young man. While Dara just waved small.
"You ready?" braden asked Alison.
Alison raised both hands, showing the appearance of her who had been ready for a date.
"Well, you didn't bring your bike?" ask Braden.
"Emm .. no. My bike was broken again" Dara replied, kneeling her nape.
"Oh, no. What's going on?" asked Braden worriedly. Because, he was the last time to repair Dara's bike and he was quite thorough.
"Something ruined it again" said Dara with a wry smile.
"What's? That crazy young man ruined it again?" ask Braden. From the look on his face, the young man looked furious.
Dara flicked her hand. He was lazy to tell Braden the details. Alison was waiting for the young man.
"Shall we (Come)," said Alison interrupted the chat Dara and Braden.
"I'll talk to you later, okay (Let's talk, huh)?" braden said to Dara, opening the door for Alison.
Dara nodded slowly. He glanced at Alison, and it seemed that the girl was not too happy with what Braden had said to her.
Braden's car passed from in front of Dara. The girl stood looking at him until he disappeared at the turn of the road. He just stood up for a while. Before finally being surprised by a Cadillac car that stopped in front of him.
"Hey, Stupid Girl! What are you doing by the side of the road?" nicholas in the car.
Dara rolled her eyes. He doesn't know why Nicholas is here. It was an inopportune moment. His mood is bad because of Braden, and now he has to look at Nicholas's annoying face.
"You work in this store?" nicholas asked as he pointed at the flower shop behind Dara. The young man got out of his car and stood in front of Dara.
"You're really shameless, aren't you? How dare you ask like that. Don't you remember if you got me fired and had to find another job?" said Dara fierce.
"Owh." Nicholas patted her forehead. He almost forgot about the incident. "You're right," she cheered.
Dara nodded in disbelief. Nicholas seemed to think that his actions were common.
Dara clucked. "You started it. Do I need to remind you of the indecent words you said to me?"
"Hey, that too I did not for no reason" said Nicholas.
Dara flicked her hand. "There's no point in talking to a lunatic like you." He passed from before Nicholas, not wanting to interact with the young man for long.
"Hey, wait!" Nicholas grabs Dara's arm and forces the girl to stop her steps.
Dara pulled her arm rough. "What else?"
"You're coming home on foot?" ask Nicholas.
"It's none of your business!" Dara pushed Nicholas' chest away. "Don't bother me. My mood is bad and you don't want to deal with me. Or I'll do things you never imagined."
"Ow, that's terrible. What the hell is that? I can't wait to find out." He aligned his steps with Dara.
"Bring your big nose again."
Nicholas chuckles. The events in the library came to his mind. His nose was almost broken by a blow to Dara's skinny hand.
"Would you like to try again?" challenge Dara.
Nicholas raised both his hands in surrender. "No, thank you."
"So, stay away from me (So, get away from me)!"
Nicholas thunts. This Asian girl made him even more curious. And the way to get Dara's attention is to make her angry.
"How about I take you home?" tawar Nicholas's.
Dara grieves. "In your dreams!"
"Come on, you don't want to go through the precarious terrain out front alone, do you?" point Nicholas in the front.
Lothian Road, an area famous for many drunken youths roaming around. Several times when returning home alone, Dara was bullied by the young men. Fortunately, he got on his bike. So that he could escape easily.
However, if he was lucky, he did not encounter a single drunk youth in the area.
"How's it?" ask Nicholas.
"No, thank you," replied Dara firmly. His eyes were sinister towards Nicholas. Since first meeting the young man and getting into conflict, his heart was so hated by the figure of the handsome young man with the messy blonde hair.
Dara walked quickly away from Nicholas. There was no choice but to pass through Lothian Road. Because that's the only way to her apartment.
And maybe that afternoon Dara was unlucky. Some young men appear to be huddling in front of a small alley between apartment buildings that double shop. Lothian Road is the Bronx of Edinburgh. The gangsters' dwellings and all their illicit activities.
Dara stepped quickly while pretending not to see the young men so as not to attract their attention. But, due to his physical appearance that looked different from the Edinburgh locals, he easily became the center of their attention.
"Hey, what's the rush, sweetie?"
"Come here, Darling."
"Why in a rush (Why rush)?"
The calls made Dara speed up her pace. But, one of them chased after him and held back his steps.
"Stay a whille, Darling (Live a minute, darling)." The red-haired youth with brownish spots filled the area of his face was standing before Dara.
The smell of alcohol was rattled and smelled by Dara's tiny nose. Dara did not have time to run as fast as possible, Cadillac Nicholas car stopped not far from him.
Nicholas got out of his car and approached Dara. The red-haired young man was not alone. Some of his friends have joined.
"Na cuir dragh air an nighean seo (Don't bother this girl)!" In Gaelic, Nicholas warned the young men.
