My Prince Of Edinburgh's

My Prince Of Edinburgh's
Chapter 32. Bitter Reality.

The world is so unfair, so grumbled Dara in his heart. All easy for people who have a lot of money. While himself, must scavenge for sustenance with extra energy. That's all he had to skimp on in order to eat in a month. The only luck that came in his life was getting a scholarship to Edinburgh University.

Seeing Alena Sturgeon, who had become an angel, somehow made her heart so troubled. The reason being, Dara was not even able to explain it.

"What is this about you?"

The voice of someone who was so familiar in his ears made Dara's daydreams scatter. Nicholas was already walking by his side, leaning in to check his gloomy-looking face.

"Why is that?" ask Dara.

"You suddenly look angry. You just left the library without saying goodbye to me. Though, before you were fine," explained Nicholas.

Dara hissing slowly. "I'm not angry and there's nothing!" clearly with the sound intonation slightly raised.

Nicholas raised both his hands. "Okay. Maybe it's just my feeling."

"It's just your feeling" decak Dara. The girl's steps quickly towards her class.

"Dara, how about tomorrow you accompany me to Alena's birthday party?" take Nicholas with you while chuckling.

The pretty. Dara twists both eyeballs. Yeah-Alena's beautiful. So pretty. Nicholas doesn't need to explain. He already knows.

"Go it yourself. What's taking me for?" Dara pushed the classroom door, but Nicholas hurriedly held her back.

"You, right, my girlfriend."

"Gee!" hiss Dara. "When did I say I agreed to be your girlfriend?"

"Whatever it is, it's important that you accompany me tomorrow" Nicholas said, blocking the classroom entrance with his arm.

Dara clucked. "I don't want to. A party like that is not my world. After all, that beauty just invited you," she said.

"Please!" pinta Nicholas with a face. Even the young man had to put his palms together in front of his chest.

As several people passed by and looked towards the two, Nicholas glared at them. "What do you guys see?!" the snapping made the people who were about to enter the classroom rush through the door.

"I don't have a dress for the party!" Dara reasoned. I hope Nicholas will set his intentions.

"Later in the afternoon we'll go to my mom and my sister's boutique."

"I don't have any money."

"I paid for it."

"Hhhhhhh!" Dara exhaled a rough breath. "My college assignments are piling up."

"Who's professor? I'll tell him you don't have to do anything."

Dara frowned. "Where could that be?" his protest. "I can't, Nic. Anyway, if you don't want to come, you don't have to come."

"I want to come, but with you. I want everyone to know we're close. And our relationship is serious. I don't want them to think you're just my toy, after I throw Sophie away."

Dara patted her forehead. He had run out of reasons to reject the Edinburgh prince's invitation. The happy ruler forced his will.

"Get out, I have to go to class" Dara said as she moved her chin, gesturing Nicholas to step aside from her.

"Say yes!" Nicholas folded his arms in front of his chest, waiting for Dara's answer.

Dara pinched his forehead. "Okay, okay," he replied. He wanted Nicholas to let him into the classroom immediately because from a distance he saw the professor who was going to teach in his class walking closer.

Nicholas smiled happily. "Till afternoon then," he said, bringing his face closer to Dara, aiming for the girl's cheek to kiss.

"Basic crazy!" sumpul Dara stepped into the classroom.

After finishing all classes that day, as usual, Dara left for Alison's flower shop and spent the afternoon working there. His boss didn't come in that day and handed him all the work.

Dara fatigue serves buyers who are quite a lot of coming. Some have already ordered flowers in advance, and come just to take their orders.

Towards the close of the store, Braden came to pick him up as usual. So happy with the arrival of the young man, Dara forgot that this afternoon Nicholas would take her to the boutique to buy a dress.

Now Dara is already in Braden's car which drove slowly splitting the busy streets of Edinburgh. Every now and then Dara glanced towards the curly-haired young man, who was slightly reserved. He did not even dare to start the conversation.

"I want to talk to you, Dara" Braden said.

"Oh, talk about what?"

Braden did not answer. He pulled his car over in front of the city park fence. Then the young man took him down and entered the garden area. After getting a seat beside a large tree without leaves covered in thin snow, the two sat next to each other.

"What do you want to talk about, Braden?" dara asked with her chest pounding. Maybe the young man will express his feelings. It's probable. This beautiful place is very supportive of the romantic atmosphere that will be created when he and Braden become lovers.

"I'm sorry ...." Braden initiated the conversation. "You know, I already consider you a good friend. When I do something for you, I'm sincere and expect nothing from you, Dara."

Dara nodded. What a sweet speech. He knew Braden was sincere with him. That's what made Dara fall in love.

"I don't want any misunderstandings between us. I mean, I don't want you to misinterpret my attitude towards you."

"I like you, Dara. As sehabat. Not more."

Dara stunned. He could digest well what Braden had just said. And immediately his expectations were buried along with the disappointment to fill his feelings.

Seeing Dara's moping face, Braden sank deeper into his guilt. He has made a mistake.

"I'm sorry, Dara .. I don't mean to give you hope. I have to be honest with you. Alison asked me to try to make you more of a friend."

"Ouh, be-that's it, huh?" sahut Dara. He needed fresh water to wash his throat. "W-why?"

Braden took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "Alison's my ex-boyfriend who I still wish I could come back for. And ... we've been trying to get into a relationship again. I mean, I tried. But his heart was filled with another love. His girlfriend lives in London."

"Ouh" said Dara Lirih. "Then ... why does Alison want you and me ...." Dara could not continue her words. It felt too painful at this moment. Even so, he painstakingly held back that the clear circles in his eyes did not fall on the cheeks.

"Because he wants me to open my heart to other women."

"Dan .. Have you tried it? Open my heart to me?"

Braden nodded. "Sorry, Dara."

The words of apology Braden uttered were only to comfort his heart. The answer is obvious, if Braden does not have the same feelings as him.

"It's okay, Braden .. We can still be friends" said Dara, trying to toughen up. The girl's mouth and heart were completely at odds at this moment. Lips can say it's okay, but, the heart screams bitterly.

"Where, from earlier your phone vibrated," said Braden made Dara gasp. He actually knew from then on his phone was not constantly vibrating. However, he ignored it.

"Let's say, who knows there's important business."

Dara nodded. He took the phone from inside the bag, then checked the screen. Dozens of missed calls from unknown numbers are listed there. And a message just appeared. The capital letters that are read from the message indicate that the sender is angry.

DARA! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!
