Chapters 27. You Want Evidence?

Nicholas could not help but approach the two people who looked so familiar. And of course his presence made Dara surprised, as did Braden. Nicholas's face was like an angel of death ready to take his life.

"Is there a problem?" braden asked Nicholas who had stood in the middle of him and Dara.

While Nicholas stared at Braden fiercely, while clasping Dara's hand tugging at his coat, trying to remove him from the girl's presence. Nicholas turned to Dara and told her to be quiet.

"still asking? I warned you not to go near Dara!"

Braden. "Why should I obey your words?" tanyakanya.

"Because I already know your foul intentions!" timpal Nicholas growled.

"Nick!" sergeant Dara.

"Shut up, Dara!"

Dara hissing. He grumbled to himself behind Nicholas. The girl made

the clawing movement of air directed at Nicholas' back was very upset.

"Would you come here to see Dara?" Nicholas folded his arms in front of his chest.

Braden chuckles. "I want to meet him" he replied casually. "Do you have a problem with that, Young Master Johanssen?" taunted.

"My problem is you, okay?!" hardik Nicholas's. Her hand held Dara who was about to step foot through it. But, his gaze remained fixed on Braden.

"We don't have any problems. We don't know each other. And I came here to pick up Dara. He's my friend and I don't think there's anything wrong with that" Braden said, still calm.

"If I say I don't like it and won't let you pick up Dara, what do you want?" challenge Nicholas.

"What right? Is Dara your boyfriend?" tejek Braden is back.

"Now" answered Nicholas confidently.

Hearing Nicholas' words, Dara rounded her eyes. He shook his head, hinting at Braden that Nicholas was nonsense.

"Oh yeah?" ask Braden. He then tilted his body to look directly at Dara who was still stuck behind Nicholas. "Really, Dara?"

"It's not true" Dara replied quickly. "Nic, what the fuck are you?"

Braden chuckled again. "Come on, Dara," he then asks the girl, regardless of whether Nicholas forbids it or not.

The grip of Nicholas' hand on Dara's arm grew tighter. He couldn't possibly let the girl go with that annoying young man who didn't have that stance.

"Well, if you go with her, I'll make a big fuss here, and I make sure your friend is battered" Nicholas threatened to make Dara's guts shrivel.

Nicholas seemed to be serious about doing what he had just said. The young man's gaze was sharp towards him, and made him shudder in horror.

"Braden, we'll talk later" said Dara, asking Braden to leave. He didn't want Nicholas to really make a fuss and didn't want Braden to be wretched.

Braden shook his head while exhaling his coarse breath. He looked at Nicholas with a cynical look. "You're just a bully and a forcible. You're definitely not Dara's type. Well, good luck," he quipped before stepping away.

Nicholas smiled with satisfaction. He looked at the young man's departure, making sure he didn't come back. His hand was still holding Dara's arm.

"You're such a bitch!" maki Dara growled.

"You're so stupid, aren't you? I warned you about that young man" Nicholas said. He was no less furious at Dara, the stubborn girl.

"I know Braden very well. I know his nature and his behavior. And you, you just met him yesterday and can already read his nature? Hooh, that's great, Nic," said Dara cynically.

"I am great" said Nicholas lightly, making Dara rotate her eyeballs.

"Just whatever. Can you let me go now? My arm hurts!"

Nicholas sat behind the wheel without starting the engine. He faced Dara who was sitting in the passenger seat beside him.

"I like you. That's the main reason why I don't want him to come near you. The second reason is because he wants to play you" said Nicholas. Now, he's drowning his voice.

"That's right, Nic!" Dara shook her head slowly while sighing heavily. He did not take Nicholas' words seriously. Though in his heart he felt something quite strange. To be honest some of this he felt there was more to it than the look in Nicholas' eyes.

"You don't believe I like you?"

"No."

"Why?"

"Because I'm not your type. And because you like to prank me."

Nicholas smiled slanted. "You want proof?" tanyanya while bringing her face closer to Dara.

The girl immediately retreated to avoid anything Nicholas would do to her. "What do you want?" tanyanya held the young man's chest.

"You're showing you evidence."

"B-proof what? You don't fuck around!"

Nicholas did not answer. He blocked both arms of Dara so strong that the girl could not rebel. Back he brought his face closer to Dara who immediately lowered his face avoiding Nicholas while closing his eyes tightly.

Karen is upset, Nicholas grabs Dara's chin and forces the girl to face him. And, without excuse, Nicholas' lips sassy to smudge his lips.

Dara who still closed her eyes was surprised instead of playing. He glanced, and as much as possible closed his lips. While one hand that had been released from the cheque the young man was reflexively slapping Nicholas' cheek hard.

"Auch!" nicholas complained while stroking his cheeks that felt sore and hot.

The opportunity was used to open the car door that happened to be unlocked. "Based on breng sek!" it means with a red face.

Dara quickly left the car park and passed by Alastair and Aegon who had just appeared. Then he ran away until he disappeared behind the campus gate.

Alastair and Aegon checked into Nicholas' car and found the young man stroking his red cheeks.

"What just happened?" the land of Alastair.

"Did that girl slap you?" point Aegon at Nicholas's face.

The one that came out of Nicholas' mouth was just an annoyed swearing. He was lazy to answer the questions of his two friends. If they knew, he would be their target.

"It looks like the girl is rejecting his love" muttered Alastair, trying to second-guess.

"Wow! Really true?" tanya Aegon doesn't believe.

"The girl got out of Nicholas' car with a tense and angry face, it seemed. Then, when we found Nicholas in his car, he was stroking his cheek which seemed to be the slap of the girl" Alastair theorized.

"Wait, wait!" Aegon raised her hand. "Why did the girl slap Nicholas?"

"It looks like Nicholas is trying to be indecent with the girl. And the girl doesn't take it."

Aegon. The tall young man turned his head towards Nicholas who was still sitting behind the wheel. Then he turned his eyes back to Alastair. Eyes rounded. He only realized that Nicholas had just lost his reputation and pride as a young man who had never been rejected by any girl.

"The girl rejected Nicholas' love!" exclaim Aegon. "It's amazing news" he chuckled later.

In the car, Nicholas was already very upset. If he had not remembered that the two young men were his best friends, he would have beaten them.

"Are you done playing the role of amateur detective?" nicholas asked, squinting his eyes.
