MY LOVE IS SHACKLED WITH LIES
38. Forecast of a Grandma

“Let's speed up our steps. If you can run!” krisna said as she continued walking.

“I can't if running.” said Jeny ketus.

No one cared about Jeny's complaints along the way. After descending the bushes, they reached the highway. Krishna felt that Friska's observations were correct. Eventually they find a way that is easy to pass, but Friska is not even with them.

“Friska is right. We have a good path. Highway road. I hope Friska is all right. I'm sure he's strong and smart.” Erik said as he approached Krishna.

“Iya brother. My patient brother. We all pray for the safety of Friska.” Irving added.

Even Aldi who had never sympathized with Friska had sympathized. Only Jeny put on a grim face because she was tired. Throughout the journey he complained.

“Thank you all. Hopefully Friska is okay.” said Krisna tried to smile even though her heart was wry.

They're down that highway. About five miles away they had to walk. Hunger and fatigue were no longer felt. He continued to walk even though the members were tired and hungry.

“You can walk slowly, but can not stop.” said Krisna.

Krishna continued to walk quickly, in front of him was an old grandmother carrying firewood on her back. Grandma's hand carries a banana and it's still green. Grandma walked slowly. Sometimes grandma stopped breathing.

Seeing that, Krishna felt unbearable. His heart was troubled and agitated at the thought of his undiscovered love. However, he could not see the sight that made him feel sorry.

“Nek, can I help?” ask Krishna.

The grandmother smiled happily. Krisna saw Grandma's sweat splashing on her already wrinkled face. Krisna walked with the grandmother until her members caught up with her. Seeing what Krishna was doing, Erik approached to bring a banana that Grandma had brought.

“What activities are you doing in this village?” ask the grandmother.

“We have activities from the school nek.” said Erik.

“Let's stop by grandma's house for a while. You look tired and hungry.” said the grandmother as she looked at them.

A little while later they entered the path of about 20 meters and they had already reached the grandmother's house. Looks like a simple joglo house. The floor is still ground and the walls are still wood. On the porch of the house there is a long bench. Krishna and his entourage were sitting there.

“Shortly yes. Grandma there is a little snack.” said grandma entered the house.

They were waiting for Grandma to come out. Krishna's face looks sad. Although he wanted to continue his journey, he saw that some of his squad members were tired and hungry. Finally, he tried to be patient. Grandma came out carrying two dishes containing boiled cassava.

“It just so happened that grandma had boiled cassava a lot. Grandma thought Grandma's granddaughter was coming here. But the more day does not come. So grandma to the garden nyari wood.” said grandma.

Grandma told one of them to go in for some drinking water and a banana. Erik followed Grandma and came out carrying a kettle filled with water and bananas. Grandma brought me a glass.

“Well, please eat. Don't hesitate. Grandma just lives alone here.” said grandma with a smile.

Aldi, Irwan, and Erik ate voraciously. Jeny just took a banana and ate it bashfully. Krishna just downed the white water and quietly pensively with an empty view.

“Well good, why even daydream. Come eaten.” said grandma.

“Iya nek.” answered Krisna still with a sad face.

“What problems are there, nak?” ask grandma curious.

Grandma sat down next to Krishna. Erik told me all the events they had experienced. Grandma nodded her head trying to understand Krishna's feelings.

“If grandma knows, what is your friend's name good?” ask grandma about Krishna.

“Friska nek.” says Krisna.

Grandma closed her eyes. A few minutes passed, Grandma was still silent. All the children looked at the grandmother. Silent. They were still confused as to what Grandma was doing.

“Where does grandma know?” ask Aldi wonder.

“Grandma can actually see the future. If it's tipi it says indigo or sixth sense or something. From small grandma already like this.” said grandma.

“Wah, really Grandma? Grandma please predict me. What will my soul mate be like tomorrow?” irwan pinta.

“Hush, you are this. We should hurry. Mending we ask about Friska aja.” said Erik.

“Hadeh, okay deh.” Irwan surrender.

“Why is it hard to find nek?” ask Krishna.

“Which grandmother saw, she was in a dark and narrow place. If you want to look for it, not until it's dark. Later it will be more difficult.” said grandma.

“Nek no other instructions?” ask Krishna.

“While there is no. Only the grandmother was worried that something bad would happen if until dark the child was not aware. Although there is currently a spirit that accompanies him.” said grandma.

Suddenly Jeny screamed. She's terrified. Aldi, Irwan, Krishna and Erik were silent. The silence and the atmosphere became horror.

“Had nook. I got goosebumps.” Aldi said. Grandma just laughed.

“Nek, why are there spirits still following Friska?” ask Erik.

“Udah is Rik. Change topic. Change topic. I'm afraid to know!” jeny said hysterically.

“Why grandma? I also want to know.” asked Irwan.

“Em, according to grandmother's belief, someone who has died but still not diikhlaskan by the living sometimes his spirit is still not calm. So as much as possible we as living humans must summarize what should have been taken by the Almighty.” said grandma.

Erik and Krishna were silent. They both know the reality of Friska. However, they could only guess without daring to tell it. They gave me the treats that my grandmother gave me. Grandma looks happy to see it.

“Nek we say goodbye first. Thanks for everything, Grandma. Sorry if we are not polite and much trouble granny.” said Krisna.

“Iya both. Grandma was also happy to meet you. By the way grandma has not met you well. What's your name?” ask grandma before we go.

“Krisna nek.” replied Krisna.

We say goodbye and kiss Grandma's hand. We started walking out of my grandmother's house.

“Good merit!” my grandmother suddenly called Kristina.

They stopped his steps. Krishna turned her back and approached Grandma.

“You're a good boy. You will become an important person. Wong gedean sing nduwe drajat kang. Sura dira djoyodiningrat, melted dening pangastuti. Datan serik seagrass, datan hard daydream kelangan. Sopo weruh ing panuju sasat sugih pager wesi.” said grandma with a smile.

“Matur nuwun. But I don't know what it means.” said Krisna with a smile.

“It is important to remember. Sometime if you are not a mother, look for the meaning yourself. Last message grandma, don't lie a lot with yourself. Hope your friend is found soon.” said grandma with a smile.

Kristian with Friska. He nodded and walked along with the group. They waved to grandma farewell.

“Let's speed up this trip.” says Krisna.

“Each kak.” answer them simultaneously.

Krisna put her backpack forward. While still walking, he picked up his small notepad and pen. He recorded some of the grandmother's proverbs that still lingered in his mind. After he finished writing it, he filled his mind with Friska. The person he loves the most.
