Finding the Light
With such conditions, Krisna continued to try to calm down all her members. Everything goes slowly. They join hands and try to get through it.
“Ahggh.!” Jeny screamed as they passed through the deeper bottom of the cave.
“Jeny quiet.” says Irwan.
“I'm scared. I'm afraid we can't get out of here. I don't want to die here.” Jeny menagis's.
“Jen, you don't move much dong. Let's make it easier to walk.” Aldi said.
“I am not strong anymore.” said Jeny while moving freely to make our way more difficult.
Because the movement of Jeny earlier made them shift to a deeper place. Jeny panicked and kept moving. Some of them drowned until the nose.
Krisna immediately pulled them and looked for the bottom of the cave that was not too deep. They finally survived the desperate situation. However, Jeny still continued to thrash in fear.
“I can no longer. Aaaagggrrhhh!!!” jeny Jerrits.
“You can't say that. We pray while we keep walking. We can definitely kok.” Erik said.
“Jeny, don't slow us down. Everyone wants to get out quickly. So condition yourself let us get out of this place faster.” said Krisna.
“Let's hold on tighter and speed up our steps.” said Irwan.
They speed up the pace. Sometimes the mud-mixed water reached their faces as they stepped on the deeper bottom of the cave. All their luggage was wet. Even the flashlight they brought did not light up in the water.
Only the flashlight that Krishna had brought illuminated them. The flashlight he held high with his left hand. They keep walking to survive. The cold rain in the dark hallway they no longer felt.
They continued to hold together tightly. They strengthen each other, only Jeny who complains a lot as long as they walk. Kristen patiently calmed them down.
“I don't want to be like this anymore. Dark, cold, lots of water. I want out.” Jeeny's moans are heard all the time.
The hunger and cold they felt became one. Everything they brought was wet. They forgot to fill the stomach for betting with that life. The water and mud at the bottom of the cave was not very high.
About half an hour they walked. The light in the hole in front of them was beginning to show. But suddenly Jeny releases her arm with Erik and Aldi.
“Kak, Jeny fainted.” said Aldi who caught Jeny's body.
Aldi painstakingly crept carrying the limp body of Jeny to the cave wall. He laid the Jennies on that wall. All approaching. Friska held onto Jeny's body so as not to fall. While Krisna checked on Jeny.
“Ia fainted.” says Krisna.
“Then what about our trip?” ask Irwan.
“We wait for Jeny siuman.” said Aldi.
“Excellent you talk. We don't know when he realized. Al, we're here. See the light wait for us there.” said Irwan.
“How's Jeny? I can't leave him.” Aldi said.
“You're way ahead of me. Choose me a path that is not too deep.” Krisna told Aldi.
They also began to travel again. Now they walk without lighting. They walked straight towards the visible light. Sometimes they hit stalagmites.
“Aduh!!” yelled Irwan from the front.
“Be careful dong.” said Erik laughing.
“Actually there are not many stalagmites in this cave branch right? So be more careful again.” said Krisna.
“Iya kak.” says Irwan.
They walked slowly but full of hope to see the outside world soon. Friska looked at Krishna from behind. He did not know why Krishna was so good with Jeny. He was a little jealous.
His heart was muddled when he saw in front of him the person he had started to love carrying a girl. But when he looked back at the dark cave, his heart smiled.
That place had been a witness to the honesty of Krishna who actually did not love Jeny. His heart was relieved when the memories came. The mud water was getting shallower as they got closer to that light.
“Udah deket kak.” says Aldi girang.
Without command they all ran. Although they can not run fast because of the condition of the place and the fatigue they feel from earlier. When they got to that glowing hole they just fell silent. It turned out that it had just arrived at the main branch of the cave.
“It's so tired, brother. Laper also.” said Aldi disappointed.
“We go up this artificial road first. We rest here.” said Krisna.
They climbed the road made of cement. That road is heading out. From there they could see there were hundreds of small and large cave branches and the branches they passed through were branches with quite large holes.
The path they rode was higher than the bottom of the cave branch they passed through. It seemed like the road was deliberately made human and the light they saw from a distance was coming from a fairly large kerosene lamp.
Finally they realized, the main branch of the cave was used as a tourist spot. They sat down and opened the door. Krishna took Jeny down from his carrier. He leaned Jeny on his chest.
“You eat first. About fifty meters away we come out of this place.” said Krisna while looking out.
Krishna looked at the road they had been on. In that dark and silent passageway he could break free from the shackles of lies.
“Goodbye lies. Goodbye to pain. The darkness was his witness when I dumped you there. Goodby. I will remember it as a memory that taught me a lesson in my life.” said Krisna Lirih.
Krishna took a deep breath. Then he took it out slowly. The burden in his heart slowly dissipated and all became more comfortable. All the lies that made him full of suffering he had thrown away.
Jeny's still fainting. Krisna kept Jeny in check even though she knew all her behavior. Krishna's anger towards Jeny was wiped out by the relief of being free from lies. However, when he met with Rudi again, he did not know what to do.
Sometimes Krishna looked at Friska. It just so happened that Friska was also watching him. Krishna throws a smile. The smile he made was as sweet as possible. Friska smiled awkwardly.
The dark passageway was like a lie in Krishna's heart. Krisna was already at the point where the light was in the cave. Krisna began to think ahead, what light would fill her heart. Will he fight for his love?
Krishna looked back at Friska who was with Erik. There was a hint of shame that plagued him. Krisna recalled her discussion with Erik. He felt more guilty.
