Under the maple tree, Kaysan and I sat on a dry bed of leaves that covered the entire ground. The wind blew violently to drop the dry leaves, I looked up at the cluster of leaves that rained down on our bodies.

"We've enjoyed winter, spring and now autumn together. What season is the most beautiful?" I asked Kaysan.

Kaysan tidied my hair, "All seasons are beautiful, so long as you are."

I embrace Kaysan's arm, "The colourful leaves are like the colour of our journey."

"There's a time to moult like this season. Man needs release, so does this tree."

Maple leaves fell on my hands, "Jani wants to give birth on the land of Java." Finally those words came out of my mouth. After a few days ago I still harbored them myself.

"Why else with you?" Kaysan stared at my face, like he wanted to find the honesty of my face.

"Jani is confused how to care for a baby. Jani wants my mother to accompany me and teach me."

"Sorry, Jani. Can't." said Kaysan.

"Mas remember, HPL this baby will be born in winter, that means no sun. Google said, newborns should be often in the sun so as not to be exposed to jaundice" said me bernebu.

The request to go home will be difficult to materialize. Moreover, I was kasian with Mbah Atmoe and eyang Dhanangjaya.

It was time for them to go home and meet their relatives.

"Yes..."

"Winter's still three months away, we'll talk later." Kaysan kissed my forehead, "Wind is getting louder, it's good we go home before catching a cold."

Kaysan helped me up, "Get down, where are you going after this?" Kaysan pinched my piercing cheek.

"Don't call Endut!"

"But you're Endut dear. Look at your cheeks tender like a bakpao. I want to bite." Kaysan smiled.

"Don't bite, it'll hurt." I pushed Kaysan's shoulder, as his face was already leaning towards me.

"I just want to clean your hair from dry leaves. Very confident!" Kaysan rubbed the top of my head then he smiled witfully.

"Mas made me wrong." I blushed in shame. And, hiding my face in Kaysan's chest.

"Why are you ashamed, let's go home." Take Kaysan.

Along the trail in the Dandenong Range. Kaysan continued to embrace my shoulder, he repeatedly dyed the shoots of my head.

"Don't you just kiss me?"

"No!"

Kaysan's steps stopped, "What do you want to call? Mama, Mommy, Mommy, or bubu?"

"Rubu?" My forehead is flustered.

"Yes bubu, short for Mother or Mother."

"Rubby." I repeated that sentence. Kaysan smiled.

"Rinjani Tube, Baba Kaysan."

Kaysan smiled, his hand rubbing my stomach. A small kick was felt as Kaysan bent his knee and said,

"Children and bubu how are you, baba will look?"

There was a heart-throbbing warmth as Kaysan so gently kissed my stomach, "Please can't wait for us to meet, be healthy y'all two of the most beautiful gifts you have."

Pregnancy made my sensitive instincts dominate, as did the ridiculous instincts that could never escape my nature.

"You know, if this mas boy likes to protest if it runs out of the mas see."

"Really, what did he say?" Kaysan stood up, I helped him clean his dirty pants.

"She was tense, bubu..." I laughed and ran away from Kaysan.

"Capture me, let's play a chase" I said still running small.

"STOP!!!" Shouted Kaysan, as soon as I froze, "I told you to take care of the contents. Even playing a chase." Kaysan's hand reached out to my ear, "Boy!"

I giggled, "Did Baba Kaysan want to bubu nakali?"

"Once you tease me, you're done." said Kaysan, he already lifted my chin. Then our eyes met, staring at each other and smiling.

"Baba love bubu." My face was reddened with shame and happiness. I held my hand around Kaysan's neck. On my tiptoes I kissed her lips softly. Lips that have a lot of taste for me.

Kaysan held onto my waist, he further tightened his embrace.

The wind blew, making the leaves fall on top of us. Kaysan quits his kiss. He rubbed my lips.

"You're the medicine for my fatigue. Keep being Rinjani like this, silly and chatty."

Kaysan. I don't know how many romantic scenes we did in Dandenong Range. But I enjoyed it.

Thank you Melbourne for being a great place to enjoy all the seasons in Australia.

*

That night we gathered in the backyard. Kaysan was silent, he did not discuss my desire to return to Java. He is keen to assess the duties of his students.

Mr and Mbah Atmoe discussed the joy of living in this country. Only Eyang was willing to respond to my babble.

"Who, when in Kaysan mas school what?" I asked eyang.

"If Kaysan's lunch hour likes to join his protege in the canteen. Chat."

"Chat what?" My soul is turbulent, actually I was curious about Kaysan's activities at school. But I don't want to be in disbelief.

"That doesn't know, Cu. Talk in English."

I glanced at Kaysan, he was grinning at the horse.

"What!?" I said while showing a clumsy face to be caught if I blatantly asked Kaysan activities.

"Not quiet, why talk? That's it, weird. Flirty."

"His protege just likes to say gini,

I love you Mr. Kay. I love you Mr. Kay."

Why do I want to laugh in Dhanangjaya's eyed manner. But I was also upset, Kaysan laughed.

"Mas really wants to piss me off?"

"Just kidding me."

Eyang Dhanangjaya shook his head quickly, "Don't believe."

"Remember, Kaysan already wants to be a father and 35 years old. It's old, not most of the whim."

I whine, Father approaches me.

"What's wrong?"

"Mas Kaysan, sir."

"Why your husband? Not that he's in front of you."

God, you don't relieve my emotions, it just pisses me off.

"Mas Kaysan is indeed in front of me, but if at Kaysan mas school in tease his protege. I can't take it!"

"Why indeed?"

"I'm his wife, sir. It's only natural that I'm jealous."

"Let's see your husband, is something wrong? Handsome yes, dashing yes, smart yes, not wrong his protege made Kaysan an idol teacher."

I saw Kaysan's lips holding back a laugh.

"Why are you bad with a kid like me, I'm just an onion here." I grumbled.

Mbah Atmoe chimed in, "Little children take small children."

He laughed, "Never mind, don't make my son cry. Look at his eyes are red."

Kaysan moved, he approached me.

"Well, bubu don't cry."

I brushed off Kaysan's hand as his outstretched hand touched my cheek, "Don't hold it!" Sergeahku fast.

"Anged, we're just kidding." Kaysan explained trying to temper my emotions.

"Handid? that's right!"

Mbah Atmoe, Father, and Eyang retreated. They smiled as they clenched their hands.

"Don't go along." cried the three of them.

Oh, my God, getting older is getting. Why so nosy, and trying pregnant women.

"Prophe does not return their words."

I melengos. My heart is still upset. Kaysan continued to continue his words.

"Mom, don't you remember this afternoon? We have just enjoyed the beauty of nature and our happiness. It's nighttime again." Kaysan took his phone, he showed me the photos.

"Look, your face is so happy. This too, we have no shame in kissing in public." Kaysan smiled.

My God, this hormone is making my mood go up and down. Kaysan touched my cheek, "Don't lash, because baba is just yours."

I'm upset about being an easy pregnant mom to seduce, "Mas Kaysan belongs to bubu, promise?" I raised my little finger.

"Promise." Our fingers are both linked, accompanied by the light of the night moon. Kaysan recounted his activities at school, either reduced or added. For me Kaysan's honesty has been quite a relief.
