41. The Rain Takes Happy

A day of studying and plus additional classes make students want to quickly go home and rest their bodies. So did Leon and Yeni they wanted to rush home. Moreover, it looks very cloudy and will rain.

" I have to go home quickly so I don't get rained on" Yeni said while in the parking lot.

Yeni turned on her motorbike and drove her to her house. But unfortunately when in the middle of the road the rain fell to wet the earth.

" Well why it's down the rain" said Yeni.

Then Yeni saw a bus stop not far from where she was.

" Mending I was shady at the stop first" Yeni said.

Yeni also drove his motorbike closer to the bus stop. Yeni got off the bike. There's no one. There's only Yeni alone.

Yeni swiped both hands and then placed them on her cheeks and neck.

" It was really cold" said Yeni and sat on the seat of the bus stop.

While Leon was also about to go straight home but suddenly it rained. Leon decided to find shelter. Leon also saw a bus and drove his motorbike there.

Leon got off his bike and took off his helmet. After opening his helmet Leon saw Yeni sitting there alone.

" It turns out this sloppy chick shits here too "inner Leon.

Leon approached Yeni and sat down next to her. Yeni looked towards the side to see who was sitting next to her.

" Leon ?" yeni.

Leon only turned his head towards Yeni for a moment then again set his gaze forward again.

" Lo's raining too?" yeni.

Yeni also poked her lips when Leon only replied to her like that. There was no more conversation between the two.

Leon looked at Yeni who kept swiping both of her hands and her lips that were slightly shaking from the cold. Leon couldn't bear to see it. Although after the statement of feeling Yeni Leon intended to avoid it but saw Yeni who was cold Leon became unbearable.

Leon took off the jacket he was wearing and put it on Yeni. Yeni turned to Leon.

" Just wear it" said Leon coldly.

" Thank you" said Tya smiling but not answered by Leon.

Although not answered Yeni still feel happy because Leon gave his jacket so that Yeni does not get cold. Yeni kept showing her smile.

" Why smile?" asked Ardi without looking at Yeni.

" No papa" replied Yeni.

Suddenly there was a very strong lightning sound.

Yeni who was very scared since childhood with the sound of lightning was directly hugging Leon. Leon who got a hug from Yeni was surprised. The heart is racing so fast.

" My heart why else?" inner Leon.

" Yeni's mother was afraid" said Yeni about to cry.

Leon could hear the fear in Yeni's voice. Leon tries to calm Yeni down.

" Be calm there I am here" Leon said without returning Yeni's embrace.

After Yeni calmed down, she let go of her embrace of Leon.

" Sorry. I was so scared of the sound of lightning. I usually hug my mom when I'm scared "Yeni told Leon. He no longer uses my lo on Leon.

" No papa" replied Leon.

Not long after the rain stopped. Yeni decided to go home because it was already dark. Yeni takes off Leon's jacket and gives it to him.

" Wear it first. I'll take you home " said Leon and rode his bike.

Yeni was silent when Leon said he would take her home.

" Hurry up" said Leon resuscitated Yeni.

When it dawned Yeni immediately put on Leon's jacket back and ride his motorcycle. Yeni takes the bike to his house and follows Leon in the back.

Arriving at home, Father Yendi and Bu Yosi are on the terrace waiting for Yeni's return with worry. Yeni got off the bike and Leon did too.

" Assalamualaikum" said Yeni kissing his parents' hands.

" Walaikumsalam" replied Father Yendi and Bu Yosi.

" Why did you just come home ? Father and mother are very worried about you ", Ms. Yosi told Yeni.

" I'm sorry ma'am. It was raining so Yeni shouts first "answered Yeni.

While Yendi's father from earlier noticed a young man who came with his daughter.

" Dek. who is this young man?" ask Yendi's father.

Leon approaches Yeni and her parents. " I'm Leon om. Schoolmate Yeni "said Leon introduced himself and kissed Yeni's parents' hands.

" I am Yendi Yeni's father" said Yendi's father smiling.

" Why are you together?" ask Yendi's father.

" So we accidentally kicked in the same place. So I drove Yeni home " replied Leon.

" Thank you Leon for driving Yeni home" Ms. Yosi told Leon.

" Same aunt. I want to go home first" Leon said..

" Alright be careful on the road ya" said Father Yendi.

" Yes" replied Leon.

" Leon thank you" said Yeni smiling and Leon nodding his head.

" Assalamualaikum" said Leon kissed Yeni's parents' hands.

" Walaikumsalam "answer them.

Leon gets on his bike and leaves Yeni's house and heads to his own house.

After Leon left, they went into the house. Yeni went straight into her room. Yeni took a bath and performed the magrib prayer. After that Yeni laid her body on the bed. He hugged Leon's jacket.

" Hope this is the beginning so we can be close. I'm so happy today " said Yeni not to stop smiling.

Leon had just arrived at his house. He put his motorcycle in the garage. After that, he entered his house.

" Dear "call Mama Rita.

Leon immediately approached Mama Rita and kissed her cheek.

" Why just got home?" ask Papa Axcel.

" I was caught in the rain" replied Leon.

" Now go into your room and change your clothes later you get sick" said Mama Rita who saw Leon's clothes get a little wet.

" Yes" replied Leon.

Leon climbed the stairs and headed to his room. After arriving at his room Leon immediately cleaned himself. Leon splashed his entire body with water. Suddenly the shadows as Yeni hugged her appeared in her mind.

" Why does it feel like this to that sloppy chick" muttered Leon.

Then Leon turns off the sower and takes the towel and comes out of the bathroom.
