155. Accident

After spending two servings of nasi uduk, Leon and Yeni continued their journey to campus.

" I went straight to the mas class" Yeni said as they reached campus.

Yeni went to her class. And Leon too.

After finishing her class, Yeni decides to go home. She will spend the day with Mama Rita while Mama Rita is still in Jakarta.

Yeni sends a message to Leon that he will go home first by taxi.

" Well, I went home first, took a taxi" Yeni said in her message.

Yeni put her phone back in her bag after the message was sent. Yeni waits for the online taxi she ordered but instead she gets the news that the taxi tire is leaking and Yeni decides to wait for her.

Yeni also crossed to reach the cafe across from the campus. But when he was about to cross there was a car speeding towards him. Yeni did not realize it until someone shouted her name.

" Yeni beware " shouted the man.

Yeni turned her head but to run was too late.

The car hit Yeni to make Yeni bounce and head hit the sidewalk. Fresh blood flowed from Yeni's head. His body also suffered quite severe injuries.

The person who was yelling at Yeni came straight over. The people who happened to pass by also shrouded Yeni.

" Maybe Leon's in class again. I called Ardi " said Aska considering Ardi was in the cafeteria.

Meanwhile, Leon who just finished his class immediately opened his phone which was in silent mode.

" What did Aska call me this much? " said Leon astonished.

" Yeni accident "Ardi answered while breathing in.

" Yeni " muttered Leon.

Leon ran to the parking lot. He wants to get to the hospital and see how Yeni is doing. But just as he was about to get into the car, Ardi snatched his car keys.

" Let me drive" said Ardi.
