168. Yeni's Birthday Day
The next morning, Leon goes to campus after Mama Rita and Bu Yosi arrive at the hospital.
" Ma, Mom, Leon went to college first "severe Leon.
Leon kisses Mama Rita and Bu Yosi's hands.
" Yes, baby, be careful" said Mama Rita.
" Yes" replied Leon.
" Kid Leon just focus on his lecture, here we are guarding Yeni" said Bu Yosi to Leon.
" Yes" replied Leon.
" Assalamualaikum" said Leon.
" Walaikumsalam" replied Mama Rita and Bu Yosi.
Leon came out of the room. Leon goes to the hospital parking lot, where his car is.
In the middle of the trip Leon's phone rang, but not the sound of a ringtone from a phone call or message. Leon picked up his phone on the dashboard of his car. It turned out that it was a warning he set on his phone. Today is Yeni's birthday. Leon always makes warnings on his phone on things that are important to him.
" Geez why I can forget Yeni's birthday "tuk Leon to himself.
Leon rubbed his face. " There's too much I think about until something important like this can be forgotten. For me always put a warning for important things ", Leon said.
Leon continued on to his campus.
Arriving at the parking lot he was immediately greeted by Risky and Dareen.
" Later home from college hanging out yuk, long time we don't hang out three "take Dareen with you.
" All you seek entertainment for you so as not to be sad continue "Dareen told Leon.
" I can't, I have to go back to the hospital" Leon replied.
Dareen did not force Leon anymore, he actually invited Leon to hang out so that Leon could forget his sadness for a while.
After college, Leon decided to go straight back to the hospital but suddenly Ardi approached him.
" How's Yeni doing? " ask Ardi to Leon.
" There is still no development" replied Leon flatly.
Though Ardi knew, Leon remained cold and flat to cover up his grief.
" I'm sorry or there is no look at Yeni anymore, I'm busy in the office" said Ardi.
Leon nodded his head.
" Tya said even though Yeni was not aware but please say this cake is the same as Yeni. Tya believes Yeni can definitely be rasain, let alone there is affection behind this cake. Who knows Yeni Cepet realized " continued Ardi.
" thank you. Say the same Tya "said Leon received the cake.
Afterwards, Leon went to a jewelry store. He had already ordered something for Yeni and he wanted to surprise Yeni's birthday but instead fate said something else. Yeni is lying in a coma in the hospital now.
" Bracelet on behalf of Leonardo Richard" Leon told the store clerk.
" I'll take a minute" said the officer.
Soon the store clerk returned with Leon's order. After paying for it, Leon went straight to the hospital.
Arriving at the hospital, Leon goes straight to Yeni's treatment room.
" Assalamualaikum" said Leon.
" Walaikumsalam" replied Mama Rita and Bu Yosi.
Leon also touched both.
" Mama and mom go home first. Leon gaka there are activities again after this "Leon told them.
After Mama Rita and Bu Yosi return home, Leon approaches Yeni.
" I'm coming home baby" said Leon kissing Yeni's forehead.
Leon grabbed the box of cookies he had placed on the nightstand and opened it.
" Look what I brought. I brought you a birthday cake, baby. It's from Ardi and Tya, they remember that today is your birthday" Leon said, trying to smile.
" I'm sorry I forgot your birthday but now I've lost it" Leon continued.
Leon was sitting in the chair next to Yeni's gurney. He grabbed Yeni's hand and kissed her.
" Happy birthday, baby. I'm sorry I haven't been a good husband to you. I always hope you wake up quickly and we can celebrate your birthday together" Leon said as he looked at Yeni's face.
Leon could not hold back his cries anymore. He was trying to be strong but he really couldn't at the time.
