From yesterday Marcus made me breakfast. What exactly was the purpose of the man being this kind of friendly to me?
"Eat. I didn't mean to be evil. Just wanna be nice to you."
Am I voicing my heart? Why did Marcus answer my question?
"Be nice?" I'm sarcastic.
"Have not thought too much. I just don't want to fight with you. And regarding yesterday's incident, I'm sorry."
"I'm sorry for?"
"I'm sorry I kissed you."
There is a corner of my heart that is disappointed. I think Marcus apologized for being so hard and scolded me for fighting with Siska. But he didn't seem to think about it. But why am I disappointed? Did I expect Marcus to defend me yesterday?
"But I don't regret it."
I quickly looked up. Looked into Marcus' eyes, which locked mine. My heart beats fast. Unapologetic? I mean, he doesn't regret kissing me like he did yesterday.
My heart is beating faster. As soon as my face warmed up, I quickly threw away my face. I looked down and started eating my breakfast.
"Take your breakfast, I take a shower. After that we went together to see Leonardo." Marcus got up and left me with a hotter face.
Especially when he passed me, Marcus rubbed my head for a second. Is it true that he just wants to be nice to me? Or does he have hidden intentions? Could he still love me? Nope-no. I shook my head quickly. Marcus can't love me. If he loves me, why did he leave me five years ago?
˙°♡♡♡°˙
Marcus and I are sitting in Leonardo's room, the wedding organizer who will help me with Andrew's wedding. We are still waiting for the presence of the man. The secretary said the man was receiving a call from another client.
Before long the door of the room opened and a middle-aged man walked in. A man is fat and shorter than the ideal height of a man. He sat in front of us.
"Sorry, make you wait a long time."
I can only smile a little.
"Me introduce Leonardo's owner Wonderful Wedding Organizer who will help and handle your wedding."
My forehead's massaging in. You guys? Why did he say you guys? What you're talking about is me and Marcus, because Marcus isn't Andrew here.
"WO we are very lucky to be able to help the wedding of Miss Aston and Mr. Cho. You two are so compatible. Miss Aston is very beautiful and Mr. Cho is very handsome."
"Sorry, Leonardo. You seem to misunderstand. The one who will marry me is not this young master Marcus Cho who is beside me. But great sir Andrew Cho."
"What?!"
"So you're not married to Marcus Cho but to his father, Andrew Cho. But age ...."
my eyes stared intently at Leonardo. Leonardo's reaction was the same as anyone else's when they heard our marriage but I really hate it when people start saying our age or social status is different. Luckily Leonardo could have stopped his own line, otherwise I made sure I wouldn't want to see him again and asked Andrew to find another WO.
"These are some examples of wedding decorations that our WO does. And about the place will be adjusted first with the concept and the number of guests who will be invited." I took that big album and started looking at some photos there. Today must be a tough thing.
It was late afternoon when Marcus and I had just stepped out of the seven-star hotel. The place I choose for the wedding reception. Now we're heading to Marcus's car in the parking lot. As I thought today was exhausting. After this morning choosing and determining the concept, I was busy choosing the decor details I wanted. Not to mention going to the hotel to make reservations and so on. I exhaled a long breath. I'm grateful that Andrew insisted that Marcus be with me today, otherwise I wouldn't be able to handle it. Because not only one hotel we went to but almost five hotels to find hotels that can be booked according to my wedding date.
When Marcus' car passed through the lake area. My eyes sparkle with excitement. And without being able to prevent that sentence from coming out.
"Marcus, stop. I want to walk on the edge of the lake." A second later I fell silent with my eyes growing in disbelief. Oh, my God, what I just said. I fearfully glanced at Marcus. The man only smiled slightly, it seemed he did not mind.
After Marcus' car stopped. I quickly got down. The cold air suddenly hit me. I haven't been here in a long time. Last time was here ....
I glanced at Marcus who had just come out. Last time I was here I was still with Marcus. We walked hand in hand down the lake and sat down on one of the chairs. Enjoy the wind blowing. And now I'm back here with him.
Me and Marcus walk side by side. The atmosphere on the edge of the lake is quite crowded this afternoon. There were some people sitting on the bench on the edge of the Lake. There were also lovers sitting side by side on the grass. Cuddle and embrace each other.
"Not much has changed since five years have passed." I looked up when I heard Marcus's words. Same thing I'm thinking about right now.
From the opposite direction was a small family that caught my attention. A pair of husband and wife muds who were joking with a toddler sitting on the shoulders of the father. The crisp laughter and wide smiles they showed made me smile. Seeing the face of the wife so bright and happy made me envious.
And then I couldn't prevent that woman's face from turning into mine and the husband from turning into Marcus. I was stunned in disbelief and a second later the face returned to normal.
I wish Marcus and I were still together. Maybe we've been a happy little family like them. We have a son, our son. Had we not separated five years ago, maybe I would have been like that happy woman.
"I used to dream about it, Shelina." I turned quickly towards Marcus. His eyes were straight at the little family.
"Street and enjoy the beautiful afternoon with you and our son." I had trouble breathing when I heard it. He had the same thoughts and expectations as me.
"But, it doesn't seem like it's possible to materialize until at any time. Because now the man you want to be next to you is not me." Marcus fell silent and I still looked at him closely.
"At any time I'll never agree to your marriage. I'm against it and want to do things in some way to thwart it. But ...." Marcus looked at me.
"Whatever I hate or encourage you to give up, you stick to your decision. And I can't afford to hurt you any more. Because it's like a boomerang to me."
"Warfed? Whatchu mean?" I looked at Marcus closely. But the man seemed to ignore me and threw away his face to look the other way.
"Look, there's still an ice cream shop there, just like there used to be." He switched the conversation.
"Marcus, what ...."
"You wait here. I'll buy it for you, one big cup of chocolate ice cream."
And a second later Marcus was already walking away from me. Leaving a lot of unanswered questions. I haven't even found an answer to why he left me five years ago. And now he's back to make me wonder what he meant.
