My ex, my Fiancee's Son

My ex, my Fiancee's Son
Chapters 10. Andrew Goes

I had trouble gulping my saliva. If this had happened five years ago, Marcus would have laughed and pulled me into his arms and kissed me with excitement. What did I just think? I'm flailing slowly.

Marcus took mineral water from the fridge. I continued my activities. Preparing rice and other side dishes. Not long after Marcus left. I shrug my shoulders, no matter what. After dinner was ready I went to Andrew's room to call him dinner.

A few minutes later we were at the dinner table. Marcus also ate with us. There is something strange and suspicious here. That guy must be up to something. He never liked a room with me. So it felt really weird when she came to eat with me and Andrew.

Nothing strange at dinner. Marcus didn't say anything either. The man stared intently at me, occasionally answering Andrew's questions about work. The rest he just kept quiet and left right after he finished eating. Maybe my prejudice was just a fantasy. Marcus didn't plan anything evil.

Andrew and I were sitting in the family room watching TV. Oddity ensued, my stomach suddenly wrapped around. I thought it was just a matter of regular digestion but it turns out that not only me, Andrew is also experiencing the same thing. We were both in a hurry to go to the toilet. Luckily, there was a toilet in my room. I went in and out of the toilet many times. God, this is so torturous. After feeling good enough I went out of the room and saw Andrew. The man was lying limp on the bed. Oh my God, what really happened?

"Andrew, are you okay?"

"My stomach's been wrapped around since. I've called doctor Rio to come here soon."

"What's going on? My stomach is also wrapped around."

"It's all because of you." Marcus suddenly entered with a middle-aged man.

"What do you mean?" My eyebrows rose next to Marcus's.

"We're all upset stomachs must be because of the food you're cooking."

"Don't just accuse Marcus." Deny Andrew.

"We got a stomachache after eating Dad's cooking!"

"You can't just accuse me if you don't have Marcus' proof." I stood in front of him with a face I didn't like.

"You must have deliberately poisoned the food, didn't you. Or you can't cook."

"Oh, out. Let Doctor Smith check on me." It's with a heavy heart that I'm with Marcus coming out of Andrew's room. My eyes stared intently at Marcus. Previously he was in the kitchen, lest Marcus sabotage the food I was cooking.

"This is all you do, isn't it? You accidentally put something in my cooking."

"Don't just accuse me if you don't have proof" Marcus denied quickly.

"I'm sure you did."

"Why would I do something like that?"

"You want to make a bad impression on me in Andrew's eyes."

"Originally you know, my stomach is also wrapped around your cooking. Bitch, you better not go in the kitchen again if all you do is cook poisonous food like this." After saying that Marcus just left. I'm sure this was one of his plans to make Andrew hate me. That jerk guy is really a bitch.

I turned around and went back into Andrew's room. Doctor Rio just finished examining Andrew.

"How's your stomach?" I sat on Andrew's bed. Grasping his hands tightly.

"It's better. You were taking medicine too, you said your stomach hurt too." I nodded slowly.

"Do not just eat again and take the medicine again if tomorrow your stomach is still problematic" said doctor Rio.

"Good doctor."

"I'll excuse you then. Come, Mr. Andrew and Miss Shelina." I stood up and drove Dr. Rio home. While standing at the door I held him.

"What is the doctor really wrong? Why does our stomach hurt and coiled? Is it true because of my cooking? But I didn't put in the wrong spice." Doctor Rio smiled knotingly before saying.

"It looks like someone accidentally put a stomach wash into your cooking."

My eyes are enlarged.

Stomach washer? I just want my stomach wrapped around and back to the toilet. And doctor Rio said accidentally. Which fool did it accidentally. It's all Marcus, that guy's a real jerk.

Chapter 8

I've been living in Cho's family mansion for a week. A week that feels like a year. On the one hand I'm happy to be living with Andrew, but I hate the fact that Marcus lives here as well. That guy was always looking for my faults. He also unceasingly insulted and demeaned me. We always fight every time we meet. There are times when my heart aches and cries for it but there are also times when I miss the former Marcus. The one I'll never see again in Marcus now.

As if fate had followed and tortured me, Andrew would now go abroad on his business trip. I don't really understand, but Andrew said he had to go to Japan for a week to work with the company there. That means it's just me and Marcus in this mansion. Not completely the two of us because there are still helpers and other workers.

But, still. I'm sure Marcus will torture me all out for a week. Andrew was here alone, Marcus used to insult and corner me especially if the man left. More and more berajarela attitude and mouth spicy Marcus.

"Do you have to go? I mean can't anyone else attend that meeting? Why didn't Marcus just replace you?"

"You think I don't have another job. I'm busy with meetings and meetings with other clients." Marcus's sniffle voice answered my question.

I ignored Marcus and kept looking at Andrew. I hope he changes his decision.

"Can't be Shelina. It's an important meeting, if this meeting succeeds then Cho's company will open a branch in Japan."

"What if I come with you to Japan?" I really don't want to be in the mansion alone with Marcus. It tormented my mind and heart. I was afraid to shake and give up.

"You think you're on vacation." I ignored Marcus. I didn't ask him anyway. Basic sucks!

I snorted and didn't look at Marcus one bit. Let him speak with the wind that passes.

"Can't be Shelina. I went to Japan to work. You'll get bored if you come with me anyway. And you still have to take care of Wonderful Cafe, don't you?" I took a deep breath. There's nothing I can do.

"As long as I'm gone you'll have to keep your attitude towards Shelina. Do not insult or insult him. You understand" Andrew told Marcus. Which was answered in a lazy and reluctant tone.

"I didn't promise."

"Aish this kid." Andrew clicked his irritated tongue against Marcus. Then it turned back to me.

"You need to take care of your health." I nodded obediently.

"Yes. If Marcus bothers you you have to tell me, let me scold him."

"Call me right away if anything happens to you, understand." I nodded again and Andrew immediately pulled me into his arms. His hand rubbed my back.

Soon Siwom let go of his embrace. Hold her suitcase and get ready to leave.

"I'm leaving. Take good care of Shelina, Marcus." Andrew walked away with a large suitcase. Alongside Andrew, a man I knew as secretary also followed him.

Why is my heart so sad? I don't understand this disturbing feeling. It was as if something bad was going to happen during his departure. All this time I've been sheltering and leaning on Andrew. I'm afraid Jonathan will show up and see me again. I wouldn't be able to face that guy without Andrew. And I feel so lost to Andrew. My eyes kept staring at the road Andrew was walking. Even though the man is no longer visible.

"Stop acting. Andrew's gone, so you can stop pretending to be a weak woman and love her." Marcus's cynical voice did not affect me, I kept looking far ahead.

"Why did he have to leave for so long?" Pilu lirihku.

"Pathetic! One week is not a long time. And I'm not sure you miss him, aren't you happy to be free from Andrew right now. You must have not been to a nightclub for a long time and been looking for a man who could satisfy you."

I glanced at Marcus. Can't he stop talking shit like that. I can't stay in Cho's mansion with Marcus alone. I'm crazy for fighting with him constantly. I turned around and left Marcus just like that.

"Hey! Where are you going?" marcus' screams I don't care.

"It's none of your business." I waved my hand no matter what.

"Ah, you must want to go to a nightclub and find a guy you can have fun with in bed."

"Yes, so I'm not going back to the mansion as long as Andrew's gone." I took my glasses and put them on. Just let Marcus think I'm gonna have fun like that. I don't care at all. For one week it's better that I stay at Evelyn's.

˙°♡♡♡°˙

Now I'm standing at Evelyn's doorstep. I've brought some clothes for me to wear during my stay here. The door opened, displaying a space smaller than mine in the Cho family mansion.

"Auntie." The voice of a little girl stole my attention. I crouched right in front of him. A four year old little girl. Beautiful little girl with big eyes, long black hair. He looks like a puppet. And I'm always so anxious to see it.

"Where's your mama?" ask her.

"Mama's buying milk in the supermarket."

"Oh, come on in. Aunt brought a donut for Angel." It was with pleasure that Angel pulled my hand in.

A few minutes later Evelyn came home. From the moment she arrived to sit in front of me, Evelyn had always looked at me with her sharp eyes. I know my presence is very disturbing.

"Can you stop looking at me. I just stayed for a few nights here. And don't worry about my food, if that's what you think."

"You know that's not what I meant. Why are you staying here? Didn't you live in Andrew's mansion. Did Andrew throw you out? No, that's not possible. Marcus must have kicked you out, right? That man is really looking to die in my hands."

"No, Marcus didn't kick me out. But I purposely went to stay here. I don't want to stay alone in there with Marcus."

"You mean?"

"Andrew went for a week to Japan on business. Because I didn't want to go home with Marcus, so I ran away here. Please accept this pathetic woman who doesn't own this house here."

"I can't kick out my own boss, can I." I immediately smiled happily. I know that's not the real reason Evelyn accepted me here.

"But you're the one who has to buy me dinner for a week staying here."

"All right."

˙°♡♡♡°˙

I stood in front of the Cho Family Mansion. I forgot to bring my toiletries. So after coming home from Wonderful Cafe I came straight here. After a few seconds of waiting finally a middle-aged woman opened the door for me. The atmosphere of the mansion was very quiet.

"Miss Shelina why didn't you come home last night?"

"I'm staying at my friend's place. And will stay there for a while."

"Ah so," replied Mbok Sari while sighing in relief. I looked up and felt something was wrong with his tone.

"Why? Did Andrew call and find me?"

"No, but young master Marcus keeps asking if Miss's home or not."

"really?"

"Yes, it seems like the young master is looking for the miss all night."

I grunt softly. It is not that I do not want to believe the words of Mbok Sari, but it is very impossible for Marcus to do. I remember our conversation yesterday at the airport. She herself was insinuating about me looking for another man to have fun with. So there's no way he's been looking for me all night. Oh come on, he's not a kid who's obedient to his dad's words. He's a dissident's son.

"Has Marcus gone home from work?" It's six in the afternoon. It's been hours to get home from work. Even though I'm not sure Marcus has come home, my question is just for pleasantries with Mbok Sari.

"Young master didn't go to the office today."

"What! Why?" My forehead shriveled deeply and immediately asked quickly.

"Young man is sick. He's sleeping in his room."

I can't believe this. Marcus sick?! I quickly walked towards Marcus' room. He opened the door and found the man asleep in bed. Holy hooch!

I walked slowly towards Marcus' bed. Stand by his bed. Marcus is a strong man. As long as I knew him, he never got sick. It's the first time I've seen him this weak. His eyes were tightly closed. My hand stretched out to touch his forehead.

My God, his body temperature is so high. I can't let him get sick like this. As much as I hate Marcus, I have to take care of him. He was sick and I was the only one here. Andrew is out of the country. So as a future stepmother, I should have taken care of Marcus to get well soon. I quickly exited the room looking for Sari and asked her how she had allowed Marcus' body temperature to be like that.

And Mbok Sari explained that Marcus refused and expelled him. Mbok Sari also said that he wanted to call the doctor but Marcus forbade him. The man insisted that he would recover just by resting. You stubborn man.
