Magic Lantern
Fall In

The Teddy Bear doll, the bouquet of flowers as well as the gift bag he had brought for Ratih hung in the air.

He did not leave it to Ratih who was sleeping very soundly.

Smooth grunting adorns his sleep. His face implied extreme fatigue.

Krishna asked the waiter to bring his things. While he was holding Ratih to the elevator leading him to his room.

“Foods I ordered in restaurant can be taken to room no?”

The waiter helped Krishna open the door. Krishna laid Ratih on his King Size-sized bed.

“Put it there sir, all his stuff.” Kreshna handed over tips to the waiter.

Kreshna enveloped Ratih who was soundly asleep. His face was peaceful like a baby. Stroking Ratih's hair then kissing Ratih's head.

Her room bell rings. The waiter delivers the food he has ordered at the restaurant.

His stomach is playing orchestra. His desire to have dinner with Ratih ran aground. The girl fell into a deep sleep like she was unconscious.

Krishna opened the lid of the food he ordered. I don't like foie grass.

She laughed while ordering foie grass for the two of them.

“What is this?” Ask Rati at that time.

“Foie grass?”

“What is it? It doesn't look like grass.”

The laughter of Kreshna.

“Instead of grass.”

“Grass?”

“I don't know how to explain it to you. But that goose heart is not grass.”

“I don't like goose hearts. Amiss. You better order a chicken or cow liver.”

“What do you want other than chicken or cow?”

“Ati-ati..” Said Rati silly.

Kreshna again chuckled, “ati-ati on the road.”

“Titi dj dong...” Connect Ratih.

“Ya already you eat ati then.. Or wind doang just choose.”.

“If I choose the last one. I'm worried you're gonna faint.”

“Eat instead of waste..” Sahut Kreshna silly.

“Iya eat wind, bloating. And inevitably be thrown away.”.

Krishna is back laughing.

“Air pollution. Alright you fast then..”.

Train manyun.

“I'm just kidding. How do I order a steak or lobster?”

“I want to eat rice.”

“Alright, oxtail soup and green chili duck?”

Ratih nodded his head while smiling.

Last night, for their fine dining. He ordered two lado mudo ducks. Oxtail soup. Two white rice.  Adding savory spicy shrimp. Main courses.

Prawn cocktail as starter. Key lime pie mouse, for dessert. Orange juices.

Kreshna filled his plate of white rice with the ducks and shrimp he ordered. Pour the soup sauce and move the tail in the bowl to the dinner plate.

Maybe it's my fault for forcing her to have dinner with me. He was tired of working. Especially after a week like this. Maybe today is limited to the threshold of fatigue…

Krishna enjoyed his dinner alone occasionally glancing at the sleeping Ratih.

Finished finishing the food. Krishna continued his work. Until his eyes felt like they were swinging. Put himself on the other side of the bed.

In his sleep. He dreams of entering a forest. He feels like Peter Pan. Is he like a cake that cannot grow?

The trauma of his parents' marriage. Shackle himself. Like chaining. Both his legs and hands were shackled so that it all felt like a burden. It is difficult to walk or step.

Train is next to him. Sitting with him on a very sturdy branch is also strong and large. Advising or teaching him?

“You know there's something inside you that won't grow up.”

“What do you mean?”

“You avoid commitment.”

“You don't know what it's like to be estranged in your own family. I'm a human being not a mistake that can be erased. As tip-ex.” writing

“You always say the same thing. But we can't go anywhere because of it. You can learn from the trauma of your parents. Instead of always feeling hurt or avoiding something that you really have to go through.”

“Yeah, you're right. I didn't experience what you're going through. But give it a time limit. Do we want to be like this forever?”

Kreshna took the grass roots that felt solidly swinging. Bringing his body jumping to and fro. Until finally he hit a very big tree and…

“Kreshna! What are you doing?”

A push on his body woke him up. A face full of anger in front of his face that still looks red because of the drowsiness that dominates it.

“What are you talking about?” Sahut Krishna tried to collect his life scattered and scattered.

“Why am I in your room? What are you doing?!”

Ratih's face looked emotional as well as a deep red held back his anger.

“Give me a minute to collect my life. What time is it?” Sahut Kreshna woke up. Walk to the toilet of his room. Washing face. Making it feel fresher and forcing his scattered life to regroup in his body.

“Create what you ask clock?” Said Ratih sewot.

“So that I know who speaks fine or coarse creatures.” He laughed amusedly.

“A funny! Explain what you mean?”

“Obviously it's not funny you're so emotional. What the hell is it? Wake up angry?”

“Why am I in your bed? What are you doing?”

“What do you mean, what do I do?”

“You have what plan?”

“I don't have any plans. If you mean your mind is so ugly to me. You overslept. I can't bear to wake you up or let you fall asleep at the dinner table.” Kreshna.

Ratih.

“You're not hungry? I can't wait for you to wake up. So I ate first. Alone.” Kreshna.

“Lapar. I'm just annoyed to see you next to me.”

“This is my room. How do you want me?”

“Yeah, I know this is your room. But why do we get a room? I'm in an unconscious state.”

“You're too tired. No one drugged or snatched you.” Kreshna laughed again. Ratih's face returned manyun.

“You should have woken you up. Not moving me to your room.”

“You fainted instead of sleeping. How can I wake you?” Sahut Kreshna.

“You're not looking for excuses, are you?”

“Do I look for a reason?”

“I told you I was very tired.”

“Yeah, I'm sorry. Never mind, you better eat first. Do you want to order a new one?”

“No need.”

“I'll heat up your sop using a heater. How?”

Ratih nodded his head.

“Thank you.”

Ratih had to admit that his stomach was very hungry. His body felt fresher after waking up to his sleep.

“I'm sorry I fell asleep. I'm so tired.”

“Yeah, I know. You told me you worked late this week but I forced you to have dinner with me.”

“Yeah.” Said Ratih bribing rice with prawns that taste spicy also savory.

Kreshna poured the heated Ratih soup into his bowl again.

“Sopnya delicious.” Radih.

“Very suitable to eat with rice and duck. Try..” Sahut Kreshna.

Ratih nodded his head. Pouring gravy is also a piece of tail that feels chewy and tender. The sauce feels savory.

Krishna waited for Ratih to finish his meal. Follow Ratih eating by spending his apatizer and dessert which he has not eaten.
