When both of Riyanti's parents passed through his father-in-law Rianti's hometown, namely Mang Diman. Rianti's father and mother decided to visit and greet the Bagas family there. Which happens to be on vacation. Bagas asked for leave from the hospital for one week, for a honeymoon in the village, and they only lived there for 5 days.
Mang Diman and his wife were granted special permission by his father Riyanti. In order to accompany Riyanti in the village, so that Riyanti does not feel too lonely. Rianti's father loved Rianti and Bagas very much.
"Assalamualaikum, Papa, Mama! It's so good to see you guys here! I miss the taste!" rianti said, welcoming the arrival of his parents.
Bagas, who had just returned from the rice fields, after helping his father, welcomed the arrival of his two in-laws, happily. At first, Bagas felt hesitant to greet his mother-in-law, but saw her mother-in-law smiling at him gently, she said, Bagas also finally ventured to greet and greet the mother-in-law who is usually always snubbed against him.
" Where's your dad Bagas?" ask Rianti's father.
"Aby's still in the fields, Pah! It just happened to start planting rice again, so it was busy" said Bagas, misbehaving with his mother-in-law who kept staring at him.
"Mas, you clean up first, sana! Your body is so dirty!" rianti's reprimand to her husband.
"Oh, yeah! Almost forgot. Rianti, you bring drinks and also some snacks for father and mother! Don't forget, eat competitive too!" bagas's Order to Rianti. Her mother-in-law kept watching Bagas, so Bagas became clumsy and nervous.
"Well, I'll clean up first!" without waiting for an answer, Bagas went straight into the house. Bathe and change clothes that are comfortable to use in the house.
Rianti went inside and prepared drinks and snacks for both his parents and his mother's driver while Bagas went to the back for a while to clean himself up as he was currently very dirty after coming home from the rice field.
"Look, Mah! Bagas can guide our Princess, so as to be a good wife. Hasn't Rianti been the hardest to manage all this time? Mamah look how Rianti thinks of Bagas!" said husband.
"Mama is still sad. Our precious daughter, now doing the work of a maid!" said Rianti's mother began to be sad again.
"Well, this is in the village, where are you going to find a maid? My mom likes her weird thoughts. Diplongin, Mah! Try it in ikhlaskan! Riyanti became his wife Bagas! That way, your heart will be relieved and happy!" husband's advice.
Not long after, came Mang Diman who had just returned from sawsh, with his wife. They look so dirty with mud. So that makes them feel bad, to shake hands with their employers in the city.
"Eh, there are Mr and Madam! How's things? Sorry, no welcome at all. We didn't know that you wanted to come here. What an honor this is, we've received a visit from Master and Miss!" welcome Mang Diman with happiness.
"Mom!" reprove her husband.
"Well, I mean Mama, they don't have to call us Mr and Madam anymore, what's wrong?" his protest.
"Yes, not wrong! It's just, the way Mamah talks, it's not good to hear!" husband's protest.
" Oh Mang Diman! Since Rianti married your son everything I said was all wrong in my husband's eyes. I'm confused how this is!" moaned Rianti's mother while stroking the chest.
"It's okay Sir, Eh, I mean, Mr Susilo! We're used to ko, with the tone of the Madam, I mean, Ms. Hastuti. It's okay, we're fine. It's okay!" his father Bagas sungkan said.
He seems not used to it. Calling the name of his employer, who for 20 years and more, had given him and his wife a job. Yes, his wife Mang Diman also worked as a maid at his Rianti residence. But they both returned to their homes, when the magrib had come.
Bagas has been living in an apartment close to the hospital. So that it facilitates its activities at work. Because, the residence of his father and mother is too far from the hospital. And to ask both parents to stay in his apatement was not possible, because it would certainly interfere with their work activities both at the residence of Rianti, who was far from his home from the hospital where Bagas worked. Bagas goes home to his mother's father every Sunday night. Take a vacation from his job.
Bagas has repeatedly asked his parents to stop working. To let them rest and enjoy their old age. But both of his parents did not want to. They do not want to live without a job and become a burden on their children. Moreover, there are still two children who are their dependents who now live in boarding schools.
"Bah, Mah, Aby and Umy! Let's have lunch first! Everything is ready inside!" rianti said, breaking the silence in the living room.
They finally got out of their seats. And start a simple lunch provided by Rianti. Village food that feels strange on the tongue of his mother Riyanti, who has been accustomed to the food of the city. But it seems that Rianti's father just enjoyed the meal.
" Well, Mah! In an instant our child has become a wife who is sholehah, who is good at cooking and smart to take care of the house. Papa is really very proud of you Rianti!" rianti praised his daughter, who has now grown up. And be a good wife to Bagas.
" Thank you, Pah! His praise! Rianti is still trying, continuing to learn to be a good wife and daughter-in-law for Mas Bagas and also for Abi and Umi. Doain keep going, Pah! So that Rianti can become a better person!" rianti said as she glanced at her husband. Bagas looked smiling looking at the wife who had now become an elegant and polite woman.
"Bagas, Mang Diman and also Miss Tarmi! Sorry yes, if all this time, I as Rianti's mother. As your besan. Been rude to you guys. Yea? Sorry please huh? It may take some time to accept this situation. But, yeah never mind! God arranged it. I will try my best to accept our destiny. Who has become your father-in-law." Rianti's mother was silent for a moment, seeing everyone there.
" Bagas! Anyway, Mama told you. To treat Riyanti well. Otherwise, you will face your mother. And Mama does not want Princess Mama to be treated badly by her husband or her in-laws!" the stern warning given by her mother-in-law, made Bagas unable to wart.
