S2 Go Home (Two Friends Meeting)

As they had agreed last night, this afternoon after returning home from Sean's office and Sonia immediately prepared. The two of them will return to Steven's father's house to tell Sean's family about their marriage.

At five o'clock in the afternoon Sean and Sonia had reached Steven's father's house.

"I'm really nervous, Mas" Sonia complained before getting out of the car.

Sean smiled then gently rubbed the top of Sonia's head.

"Bismillah. We're facing it together, yeah. Do you believe the same?"

Sonia smiled then nodded her head. Take a deep breath and breathe it out slowly. Sonia then said basmalah slowly.

"We're down now?" ask Sean.

"Yes." Yeah."

Sean and Sonia then get out of the car. The two of them then stepped inside the house hand in hand. Arriving inside, it turned out that everything was gathering in the family room. Even Opa Ricko and Oma Amelia were there.

"Assalamu'alaikum," said Sean.

"Wa'alaikumsalam," reply all at once.

All of them turned to Sean and Sonia. Safa immediately stood up as soon as she realized that someone was coming with her brother. It looks familiar. Sheila and Steven stood up.

"Did you?" sheila asked puzzledly, especially after seeing that her son had not come alone.

Sonia and Safa have been looking at each other since. Over time the eyes of the two friends were both teary.

"Sonia" cried Safa who immediately ran and hugged the friend who had always longed for it.

"Safa," replied Sonia who returned Safa's embrace equally tightly.

Haru's cry and the happy two friends instantly spilled. Sheila also joined in crying, finally her daughter could be reunited with a friend who had always been missed. Steven grabbed Sheila by the shoulder, rubbed her gently, calming her down.

Opa Ricko, Oma Amelia, Syafiq, and Adrian also stood. Opa Ricko is also seen embracing Oma Amelia and calming his wife who also shed tears. The atmosphere filled Steven's living room that afternoon watching the meeting of two friends who had long been separated.

"I miss you so much" Safa said in between her tears.

"I miss you too, Sa" Sonia hugged her friend even tighter. "I'm sorry I left without saying goodbye to you."

"I know everything. You're not wrong, I."

Sonia let go of their embrace.

"Sa-So-Sa-So," lamented Sonia putting on a feigned face of anger.

"And I am Sa, you are So" Safa replied.

Instantly laughter broke out from the two friends who re-hugged it. Yes, from the first Sonia always called Safa with the call 'Sa' and Safa also called Sonia with the call 'So', the initial syllable of each name. After that one of them will complain like Sonia earlier, and one will answer like Safa's answer earlier. Little habits of Sonia and Safa when they were in school first.

All who were there joined to smile watching the small debate of the two friends. Sheila then stepped closer to Sonia and Safa who were still faithfully hugging.

"Sonia," call Sheila while holding Sonia's shoulder.

Sonia and Safa's hugs came off. Sonia then turns to Sheila.

"Mother" call Sonia.

Sheila immediately hugged Sonia and rubbed her head gently.

"Mother misses you."

"Sonia misses Mother too."

Sheila let go of their embrace. Sonia immediately grabbed Sheila's right hand and kissed her. Sheila smiled, Sonia's courtesy from the past always amazed her.

"How are you doing, baby?"

"Alhamdulillaah Sonia Good Bun. Mother how are you?"

"Thank God then. Alhamdulillaah Mother is also good dear."

"Let's meet Dad, Opa, and the others as well," Safa who had embraced Sonia's arm then invited Sonia to meet Steven.

"Dad," said Sonia then kissed Steven's right-hand back.

"Hi dear," Steven replied as he gently rubbed Sonia's head.

Safa takes Sonia to Opa Ricko and Oma Amelia.

"Sonia. Opa, it's good to see you again, baby" Ricko replied.

"Oma Amel," said Sonia kissing the back of Amelia's right hand as well.

Amelia hugged Sonia.

"Thank God you're back, baby."

"Yes Oma."

"Well, if that is Mas Rian the same brother Syafiq. You remember them, right, So?" safa said after Sonia's embrace and Oma Amelia's release.

"Yes, I still remember them Sa, '" Sonia replied.

Sonia then turned to look at Adrian and Syafiq and greeted them.

"Sister Rian, brother Syafiq."

"Hi Sonia," replied Adrian and Syafiq simultaneously.

"Aren't you kangen-karennya?" ask Steven.

"Not quite Well. Safa was still very upset with Sonia," said Safa who had embraced Sonia from the side.

"Later to continue. Now we all sit down yuk. There's something your brother wants to say to us" Steven said.

"Eh, Brother. Safa forgot to forget."

Safa then runs up to Sean and hugs Sean.

"Thank you Bang. Abang has made his promise and brought Sonia back to Safa" Safa said, still hugging her brother.

"Yes Dek, equally," replied Sean as he gently rubbed Safa's top of the head.

"Udah yuk, sit down first everything," Steven said again.

Safa ran back to Sonia. Safa then brought Sonia to sit on the long sofa. Opa Ricko and Oma Amelia sat side by side, as did Steven and Sheila. Adrian and Shafiq are sitting on a single sofa. Apparently Steven had prepared his seat in such a way, so that it could fit his position. Sean then sits himself next to Sonia.

"Eh, how come you're sitting there anyway?" ask Safa wonder.

"No pa-pa Dek," Sean replied with a smile that made Safa even more confused.

Sean looked at Steven. After seeing Steven nod his head, Sean then began his conversation.

"Before, you want to say thank you because everyone wants to gather this afternoon. I'm sorry, it might be a little surprising, but you want to tell everyone that you and Sonia were married eleven days ago" Sean said.

Everyone was shocked to hear Sean's words. Except Steven and Adrian of course.

"So?" tanya Safa still could not believe it.

"Did you?" Sheila asked for an explanation to her eldest son.

Sean then recounted all of his events from beginning to end. Sheila, Safa, and Oma Amelia compactly covered their mouths with both hands each in shock at hearing all the explanations from Sean.

Sheila then got up and approached Sonia who was sitting between Sean and Safa. Sheila cupped Sonia's cheeks with both hands, kissed Sonia's forehead, then hugged her tightly.

"Subhanallah. The plan of Allah SWT is unpredictable. But Mommy believes that this must be the best for both of you. Mother is very happy, dear. Mother never imagined that you would be Mother's daughter-in-law. Subhanallah, alhamdulillaah," Sheila said.

Sean, Steven, Opa Ricko, Oma Amelia, Syafiq, and Adrian, all smiled at Sheila's reaction and so unfortunately Sheila was on Sonia. But not with Safa. The girl silently stared next to Sonia who was being embraced by Sheila.

As if realizing her daughter's inertia, Sheila then let go of her embrace of Sonia. Sheila and Sonia stared towards Safa who was still silent expressionlessly. Others immediately focused their attention on Safa as well.

"Sa, "" call Sonia and hold Safa's hands together.

"So now you're my sister-in-law?" safa asked with an unpredictable expression.

"Sorry Sa. Everything happened so quickly and beyond our expectations. Please forgive me Sa," said Sonia.

One second, two seconds, three seconds. Everything seemed to hold its breath, waiting for a reply from Safa. Unexpectedly, Safa immediately pulled Sonia into his arms.

Tears flowed again from the two friends, as well as Sheila. While the others exhaled with relief.

"I am very happy So. Now you are not only my best friend, but also my sister-in-law. Now we're really So's brothers" Safa said as she hugged Sonia.

"Yes Sa. I'm happy too. We're brothers now Sa" replied Sonia.

Sean was grateful for the reaction from his family just as he had expected. Thankfully everyone was able to accept her marriage to Sonia.
