CHAPTER 51: New Inhabitants

I have a novel book.

After that I crossed to the wartel (public phone). I'm gonna call Bram. I really miss Bram.

I went into the wartel and I dialed Bram's number. Seconds by seconds I waited for the connection.

"Hallo, good afternoon. This who?" ask Bram across the street.

"Hallo Kak, this is Zanu" I replied.

"Hei Zanu's. Well, you started calling me now, surely you're missing, right?" ask Bram again.

"Hmmm.. Brother, what else?" I avoided Bram's question out of embarrassment.

The phone disconnected and I went straight outside the wartel. After paying the wartel bill, I immediately walked towards the boarding house.

I went into the boarding house. On the front porch I saw a car parked. Looks like there's a guest. I went straight to the side door.

Not even my feet stepped to the side, suddenly Siska nongol from inside the living room called out to me.

"Zanu, stay here. Brother asked for help," said Siska.

I looked towards the source of the sound.

"Eh, Sister Siska. What's up, brother?" answer me as I approach.

Siska and I smiled and took them to the terrace with Mami.

Eventually their car drove out of the boarding house and disappeared from our sight.

"Siska and Zanu, Mami went straight home. Tomorrow Saciaya is welcomed and delivered to her room, if you meet. Otherwise, send the same message to the other children, so they are not surprised by the arrival of new guests," said Mami kost.

I saw the novel I borrowed lying on the bed. "Queen", the title of the novel is short but has meaning.
