LOST (Anna)'s

LOST (Anna)'s
Chapter 9. Ryan and Nathan.

Ryan had just walked into the hotel room where he was staying. The man threw his suit at him, then laid himself on the bed without removing the tie, and his shoes first.

His eyes glared at the ceiling of the room with all sorts of raging feelings. Now the only hope is for the street magicians, and Ryan hopes his quest will pay off.

Pray for me, Dad, Mom, Inner Ryan.

"Anna," call him. A single tear unwittingly flowed down Ryan's cheeks. If only time could be repeated, Ryan would never once be childish with Anna's hatred.

Compared to her, the real Anna suffered more from having to lose her father when she was young. Had he not indulged his teenage ego, he would have never once left Anna in the garden.

Not to mention the harsh fact that he was only the adopted son of the Cetta family.

How could he enjoy all the facilities and relics of his adoptive family, while Anna was unknown to his fate.

Ryan snarled stifledly. Her chest felt extremely claustrophobic thinking about how Anna's fate was. Healthy him? Is he still alive?

The fact that the man might never see Anna again, made the feeling of tightness multiply.

...**********...

Anna is sitting in front of a small drugstore all by herself. In the lap of the girl there is a plastic grocery with a size that is much larger than before. The girl's face was happy, but it also felt a little uneasy.

Before long, Nathan came out of the drugstore and sat down next to Anna. The man noiselessly began to open the small plaster he had just bought there.

Anna grimaced and bit her lips. He did not expect at all that his intention to see the man was actually done.

Nathan who was not ready to get a surprise attack, of course, immediately fell onto the asphalt. The man's palm was scuffed while trying to hold his body weight on the asphalt.

Anna put her plastic groceries under the chair and grabbed the plaster.

"Hey-"

Anna pulled Nathan's right hand and closed the blisters on his palm quickly.

"I'm sorry," the girl said after, "and I assume, we're even now!" he continued quickly, pointing out the wound on his knee that had been covered in bandages.

Nathan let out his breath. "Sorry .. and, yes, we're even!" the handsome man said as he glanced at the plastic grocer that was near Anna's feet.

Anna cleared her throat trying not to laugh at Nathan's words. The girl was deliberately blackmailing this foreign man in front of her as a form of responsibility. That's why plastic is growing twice as much as before.

"Alright, I've also brought you here, so ...."

Anna smiled faintly. "Thank you, Mas Nathan," he said, half not because Nathan asked Anna to call him that.

"That's all?" ask Nathan.

Anna raised her eyebrows high. "Continue?"

Nathan changed his seat to face Anna. "The distance of this place to the minimarket was quite far. You don't want to make small talk first? Offered me to come by your house first, for example!"

Hearing this, Anna gasped. "You want me to, I do it?"

"No!" Nathan returned to straighten his seat while crossing. "You're a girl, so it's not appropriate to offer that to strangers!" continue Nathan.

The look on Anna's face instantly changed, her eyes twinkling at Nathan who was holding back his laughter.

"Curtain! Bodo very, I'll go first!" Just as Anna had stepped out of Nathan, the man had already called back.

"What?" shouted Anna.

"your name! I mentioned my name earlier. Don't cheat!" reply Nathan.

"Anna!" Anna replied quickly as she turned to leave Nathan.

Nathan gasps. Every time Nathan heard the name, he remembered Ryan's younger brother.

"I was looking for Anna, and met a strange girl of the same name. I hope Ryan's sister has a sweet nature" Nathan murmured.

Nathan keeps his eyes on Anna, who starts riding her bike. However, the man's eyes suddenly caught a sparkling object that had fallen on the ground.

Nathan walks towards the place and picks up a shiny object that turns out to be a gold necklace bearing the name engraving.

...**********...

Anna had just arrived home when she found her father sleeping on the sofa in the television room. It seems the man just arrived.

Anna walked slowly closer to Dirno.

"Well, don't you just sleep in the room?" asked the girl gently while kissing her father's hand.

Dirno yawned wide and replied, "here only,"

Anna then confirmed the position of her father's leg and also turned the fan so that he would not get sick.

Slowly their economy has indeed improved thanks to Dirno's hard work. However, it is also a burden for Anna and Denis because they are worried about his condition.

Many times they asked Dirno to stop working, but she always refused.

"You have no obligation to support this family, for it is the responsibility of Father. Your payroll for the future."

For Denis and Anna, being able to meet daily needs is enough.

Anna rubbed her father's arm slowly and placed the plastic on the kitchen table. The girl will shower first before cooking.

...**********...

"Where have you been?" ryan nodded as Nathan arrived at the hotel room. After dropping off Ryan, the man had intended to go to the minimarket to shop for something

"There's an incident." Nathan kalem replied. The man placed a bag of snacks on the television table, before then went inside the bathroom to take a shower.

"How was your meeting with Ansell?" nathan asked when he came out of the bathroom.

Instead of answering, Ryan placed a piece of paper on the nightstand.

Nathan took the paper and read it. "We'll find her soon."

Ryan remained silent. His hands seemed busy fiddling with the television remote. "If this time fails again, I'll stop the search just like it."

"Why?" ask Nathan.

"Tired." Ryan replied without further ado.

Nathan clucking. "That's right! You've come this far .. Don't give up!"

Ryan did not answer.

"Bro!" Nathan raises his voice to steal Ryan's attention.

"You've been looking for him for years! You promised in front of your parents' belly button, and you even promised to return all this to Anna later. Then now? Your joke is really bad!" nathan cried at length.

"You're not in my position, Nat!"

"But I understand how you feel!" reply Nathan.

"No! You don't know how I feel!" call Ryan.

"I know!"

The sound of throwing things was heard. Ryan, who has been trying to hold back his emotions, now throws the television remote hard on the floor to shatter into pieces.

The man is fed up with Nathan babbling and encourages him to keep looking for Anna all along.

Nathan fell silent. He was not fit to interfere in Ryan's personal affairs. It's just ....

"Bro," call Nathan.

Ryan stood up from his position. "I'll book another room" said the man as he stepped towards the exit.

"I lost my father twenty-two years ago."

Nathan's words suddenly stop Ryan's steps.
