LOST (Anna)'s

LOST (Anna)'s
Chapter 8. Meet again.

A month has passed.

At nine o'clock in the morning Anna was seen pedaling her bike pedal in a hurry on the highway. He must arrive at the home, where he works.

Since their move, Anna immediately applied for jobs in several places, including an orphanage run by a private company. Luckily, no need to wait long, Anna was immediately accepted into the orphanage with enough salary to meet daily needs.

"For Denis, I'm late, right!" Anna continues to grumble to blame her brother for forcing her to accompany a live football broadcast last night. As a result, he was now one hour late from the appointed time.

"Come, cepaaat!" anna shouted as she sped up her bicycle.

At the same time a gray SUV is moving in the opposite direction at full speed.

"Remember, Yan, we're not here for a vacation. If they get angry, you'll have to stay in the office for a week!" threaten Nathan who is upset with his boss.

How not, they should have a meeting with the branch office officials at exactly nine o'clock. However, thanks to Ryan who woke up late, because the night stayed up for the sake of watching football, making them both just out of the hotel at nine less fifteen minutes.

Instead of apologizing, Ryan chose to stuff his ear with earphones.

"Bro, you heard I didn't!" peekkik Nathan's.

Ryan did not listen.

Nathan turned his eyes to Ryan to remove the earphones he had installed. However, without realizing it his car passed through a hollow road.

Shouts accompanied by the sound of falling objects, suddenly sounded. Nathan hurriedly stepped on the brake pedal to make Ryan almost toppled if not wearing a seatbelt.

Anna grimaced in pain. The girl apparently avoided the moving car all the way to the middle of the road.

Nahas, he immediately fell because he hit a hollow road.

Ryan and Nathan looked at each other.

"You hit somebody, Nat?" ryan asked with a look of horror.

Nathan looked forward and found nothing. However, when he turned his gaze to the rearview mirror, he could see a girl fall down with his bike.

Ryan, who was looking back, rushed to open the car door, but Nathan held him back. "Let me!"

Nathan got out of the car and approached Anna who was blowing on her bleeding knee.

"Miss, are you okay?"

Anna turned her gaze to the person who just called.

Nathan was stunned when he found the beautiful face of a young girl who looked familiar.

"Hey, rich man, if you bring a car be careful dong! You think this street has your ancestors!"

Nathan's daydream suddenly broke when the girl started yelling at him while pointing at the man's face disrespectfully.

Destroyed was Nathan's admiration. It turned out that the nature of the girl was not as pretty as her face.

"I'm sorry, Miss. I'm ready to change rug—" Nathan hasn't had time to finish his sentence. Anna is back.

"Halaah, stale! Move you!" While enduring the pain, Anna rushed up from the asphalt. If he wasn't late, he would have gotten the man into a fight.

Without saying anything, Anna immediately left Nathan who was even dumbstruck on the spot.

"How's it?" ryan asked when Nathan got back in the car.

"He just left." Answer Ryan flatly.

Ryan raised his eyebrows high. "His "hurt? An indemnity?"

Nathan simply replied with a shoulder flick.

...**********...

Anna was just about to enter the parlour through the back door, before someone came to see her.

"Good, Anna!" Laila, the owner of the sixty-two-year-old home, screamed, when she found Anna's appearance a little chaotic. "Anna, what ... loh, is your knee bleeding?"

Anna grimacing. "Not accidentally fell, Bun," he said.

Hearing that, Laila immediately pulled Anna in to treat her. Some of the children who knew Anna was injured rushed to the girl.

"Why Anna?"

"Blood brother huh?"

"Mother, Brother Anna is hurt?"

"So it's okay!" answer Anna.

"Your brother fell for not being careful. Don't you guys get to be like Anna's sister, do you?" laila said with an irritated face. Nevertheless, he continued to treat Anna painstakingly.

Anna moved her lips and could only give up on Laila's advice. Want to defend yourself is also free, so it is better to stay silent.

Laila was known as a very chatty woman. However, even so, the woman had a very good heart.

More than half of her age was used by Laila to be caretaker for abandoned children with her husband, and after her husband died, she continued to help take care of the home with her only daughter, Emma.

Finished treating Anna, Laila told the girl to change clothes and rest. He also forbade Anna to help take care of the children today.

"I don't know why Bun" said Anna unpleasantly.

"You're bad, Ann. You just rest for a day. All work is done, too."

"But ...."

"There's no buts!"

Anna let out a sigh of resignation and chose to gather in the baby room alone.

...**********...

Ryan was sitting with a stranger named Ansell. Ansell is an Australian investigator who was also Ryan's longtime friend during college. Ryan asks Ansell for help in finding clues about Anna's whereabouts.

"This is their address." Ansell gave a piece of paper containing the addresses of the new street magicians.

"The father was Dirno, a former convict who liked to go to jail in his youth. Now he has a son and daughter whose name is unknown."

Ryan listened carefully to the information from Ansell.

"What case?" ask Ryan.

"Theft, armed robbery, mugging, fighting, and so on."

"Then?"

"That's all I know. To be honest it's very difficult to get details about them because some of the toughest criminal records ever to ensnare Dirno have been deleted."

Ryan nodded. "How can you?"

Ansell shrugged her shoulders. "Eitherway. It's possible that he's been instrumental in helping the authorities in return for that, or something else I don't know."

Ryan was silent for a moment. "Thank you for the help, Ansell, thank you so much" Ryan said, extending his hand to Ansell.

"Together, Bro! I'm sorry, I need to get back home soon, so I can't help you any further."

"Your help is valuable." The two shake hands.

...**********...

It was already afternoon when Anna stopped her bike at a minimarket to buy plaster and some instant food.

"Thank you, Ridho," Anna said as she received the groceries she had just finished paying for.

"Together, Sister Anna. Foot Mpa Luka?" ask the cashier.

"Yes, here. Ordinary nudity. I'm going first, yeah, Do, bye!" Pamit Anna's.

"Be careful, Ma'am!" shout Ridho.

"Yes!" Answer Anna who just closed the door minimarket.

When he was about to go down the stairs, suddenly someone hit his arm to make Anna's plastic grocer fall and scatter out.

The girl's eyes fiddled for a moment. He crouched down and began picking up one by one his groceries scattered about.

"Today, what day is it? How apa terribly apes!" anna grumbled that she had experienced unfortunate events twice.

"Hey, here!"

Anna, who was busy picking up fruit, received her groceries that someone had just offered. "Thank you kasi—"

Anna's words stopped. He and Nathan exchanged glances for a while, before finally shouting at each other.

"www!" A shrill voice sounded a moment later.
