Chapters 15. Meeting with Dirno (2).

The next morning, Ryan, Nathan, and Bowo leave after breakfast. Some of the orphanage children had held them for longer to be there, until someone cried. However, Ryan was forced not to grant because his vacation schedule had run out.

However, before actually leaving, the two agreed to go see Dirno first.

"Dad was at home, happened to have just come home from work last night" Anna told the newspaper. Not to forget he also explained the house plan to Ryan and Nathan that can be passed by the car.

"alright. Thank you, Anna," said Ryan.

"Together, sir." After saying goodbye to Anna, Mother Laila, and all the residents of the orphanage, the three rushed to Dirno's address.

It didn't take long for Ryan, Nathan, and Bowo to arrive in front of a house corresponding to Dirno's address.

The tiny house with a brown wooden fence looked very quiet when they arrived.

Ryan was silent for a while, before venturing out and knocking on the fence.

A few seconds later, a grizzled old man appeared from inside the house. The old man seemed to frown when he found two strangers coming to the house.

"Sorry, is this Mr Dirno's house?" ask Nathan.

"Yes, I'm alone."

Hearing the reply, Ryan and Nathan breathed a sigh of relief. "Sir, I'm Nathan and this is my best friend, Ryan, we'd like to have a little chat with you, would you?"

Dirno who thought that they were customers who would hire her services kindly agreed. He opened the gate and invited the two men to enter.

"I'm sorry, my house is small and messy" said Dirno, because he saw the appearance of Ryan and Nathan clean like the appearance of rich people. He also took two glasses of mineral water to serve them.

"It's okay, sir," Nathan replied.

"So, what do you need, all of you here? Would you like to use my services to fill out the event?"

Dirno and Nathan started talking. While Ryan chose to look around the room of this house carefully.

His eyes were so drawn to some of the photos on display, including one of the photos of a younger-looking Dirno standing with her two sons and daughters. However, what makes Ryan surprised is the figure of young Anna who is so similar to her sister.

"No sir, we'd like to ask you about some old incident you may have witnessed." Nathan answered.

Dirno frowned. "What incident?" ask the man.

"Sir, when was the photo taken?" Ryan, who had been silent for a while, suddenly asked a question.

Ryan's hand shook.

Dirno refocused on looking at Nathan to ask his point again.

"Look sir, about thirteen years ago did you ever work at the Skyland playground?" Nathan started to explain.

"Yes, I became a freelancer there. Not tied." Answer Dirno.

"Then, you must have known about the incident thirteen years ago, about a little girl who had an accident in that place?"

Hearing Nathan's words, Dirno's book suddenly crushes with a feeling of fear that also shackles him.

"You mean?" Dirno. There's a dislike that guy showed Ryan and Nathan.

Nathan and Ryan looked at each other for a moment. "About thirteen years ago, Ryan, my best friend, lost his little brother there, ki—"

"No! More precisely I have left my sister in that place!"

The atmosphere inside Dirno's house was suddenly silent.

Dirno was shocked to learn this.

After thirteen years of hiding Anna and hoping that no one would find her, suddenly two strangers come to see her.

Instead of being happy with the fact, Dirno was very angry. Ryan readily admitted that he had left Anna alone in that place.

A flash of the past about how Anna ran while yelling at a car desperately came back to the surface.

Nah! This guy threw it away. He had even only been looking for her after thirteen years. So, she no longer had any right to Anna, her beloved little princess!

"I don't know about that. Every night our visitors are many, so I don't look around and just focus on making money!" Dirno answered with a changed face.

"But, sir, if I don't remember wrongly, said one of the security guards, you're the one who went to take the girl to the hospital!" exclaim Nathan.

Dirno shook her head firmly. "No! I always go home after I finish doing the attractions. My life is hard, I don't have time to do good!"

"Then, is that really a picture of your daughter, sir? Because his face is at first glance similar to my sister." Ryan opened his voice. He even got up from the sofa, about to approach the photo to take a closer look. However, Dirno quickly restrains Ryan.
