Chapters 18. Ryan's Plan.

Ryan woke up from his sleep in a slightly dazed and dizzy state. A small towel fell from his forehead as soon as he sat down. The man then stared at the wall clock of the room which turned out to have shown at nine in the morning.

"It's waking up apparently," said Nathan who just entered Ryan's room. In his hand was a tray containing a bowl of chicken porridge and warm water.

"Eat first, don't use drama!"

Ryan did not answer and just obeyed Natha's orders. The man began to eat his food with ogah-ogahan. However, once the first feed was swallowed, Ryan eagerly ate the porridge until the toilet was not left.

Nathan chuckles at Ryan's starving behavior. How not, almost all day he did not eat anything.

After eating and taking medicine from the doctor, Nathan again told Ryan to rest. "Don't go to the office first, I'll handle everything" Nathan said.

Ryan did not refuse because his head still felt dizzy. As she was about to re-energize, her eyes accidentally recaptured Anna's portrait.

This time Ryan did not heed the photo and left it lying on the nightstand.

Meanwhile, the morning atmosphere at Anna, Dirno, and Denis' house seemed to heat up. Anna does not pay attention to the screams of her father who tells the girl not to work, while Denis still leaves for the orphanage, while Denis inevitably defends Anna.

"Well, I know you're afraid you're gonna lose Anna. I am too. Anna is missing because of her own family. However, no matter what Anna's situation is now, she still has a family."

"Then, are you going to let Anna be taken by them? Anna's lost her memory, Denis!" dirno.

"No. I would never give it up! However, in retrospect all the events we experience must be an intervention from God. God wants us to return Anna."

Negating this, Dirno suddenly glared.

Denis calmed him down immediately. "No need to go around in circles, you do want to let Anna go, right?"

Breathing out of Denis' mouth. He patiently explained his point.

"Ryan and Nathan already know about Anna and our family. They have seen it for themselves, too. If they do, they'll never come back and that's a sign we won't lose Anna."

"If not?" dirno asked with a fierce look.

Denis was silent for a moment. "If they don't believe it, they will try to find out. That's when we let it flow as it is. Anna herself never remembers her old life. So, what's there to worry about?"

"What if Anna manages to remember her past?"

Denis shook his head. "Cannot be. I know for myself the amnesia that Anna is experiencing is permanent. He won't be able to remember everything, except us!" denis replied with a convincing tone.

Dirno. His eyes were teary. "Dad loved Anna very much. Between you and Anna, the affection you gave me was just as great, Den. I wouldn't want Anna to go back to such an evil family" the man said softly.

The two were no longer heard speaking.

A few days later.

"You're gilla!" nathan jolted as soon as he heard the ridiculous request that came out of Ryan's mouth. The reason, the man easily asked Nathan to move them to the branch office in order to keep an eye on Anna, or the craziest thing was to move the orphanage where Anna worked to Jakarta, so that the girl can come here.

"What makes you so sure that Annazkia is your sister, Anna?" nathan said while stressing Anna's full name to her.

"The photo I wanted to see yesterday, and Mr. Dirno's attitude. I'll also try to steal some samples of her body parts for a DNA test!"

Nathan was silent. The man got up and walked towards Ryan. "I did tell you to keep looking, but not by suspecting other people's families."
