LOST (Anna)'s

Chapter 26. Ryan's Request.

The rain had just finished pouring down this small village. The smell of soil mixed with liquid precipitation is blowing in the wind. Nevertheless, the weather still looks dark and sad, although the new time shows at three noon.

The sad weather seemed to be continuous with the situation in the simple house of Dirno, a man who should have entered the retirement age. Men who should not be thinking about a lot of heavy things, and men who should have been able to enjoy life by relaxing at home.

However, Dirno is the type of hardworking man who never gives up. His past as an inmate made Dirno promise to improve herself for the sake of the family. As a result, he grew up to be a responsible man who likes to work.

For him, while the body is still able to move freely, he will continue to work for money. Not so with his mind.

Dirno's affection for her two daughters (especially Anna), made the man very much afraid of loss. Dirno loved Anna. He was the entertainer who was present in the middle of the family after the departure of his beloved wife. However, Dirno also must not deny, that Anna is not entirely part of their family.

Anna is just an outcast foreign girl whom she takes care of lovingly .. and now her family is regretfully asking her to come back.

Dirno could only stare at Ryan who had barely moved from his position for half an hour.

The man with a myriad of treasures and authority is now resting before Dirno with a bowed face.

The only request is to bring Anna back to Jakarta.

Ryan can't be in this place all the time, because he has a lot of responsibilities where he lives. However, Ryan was also reluctant to leave Anna just like that.

That is why with all humility, Ryan intends to move Anna's job from the orphanage to his office in Jakarta, as well as to provoke Anna's memory. Ryan wants Anna to be his old sister again.

"You've thrown Anna away" said Dirno coldly. Although his eyes looked ferociously at Ryan, but the old man's heart was actually sliced. Which parent's heart would be willing if his little daughter were to be taken?

"I know," replied Ryan without raising his head. Nathan can only stand a few feet next to Ryan.

"As ... salamualaikum ...." Denis, who had just arrived home, was surprised to find his boss was currently resting expectantly on the floor of their house. The most honorable man in his place of work seemed very helpless.

Denis was about to help, but Nathan immediately raised his hand to signal the man to stay in place.

"Sir, please, give me a chance by making amends for my past mistakes." Ryan again confirmed his intention with a trembling voice.

"But not by taking my youngest daughter!" dirno exclaimed while emphasizing her last two words.

After saying so, Dirno rushed up from her position and left Ryan without an answer.

Ryan's past mistakes have been huge, but that doesn't mean he can't fix them.

Nathan sighed. "Yan, come on, let's go home!" With careful steps Nathan helps Ryan get up from the floor. Slowly they stepped away past Denis who still did not understand what had happened.

Several times Ryan's steps had dazed, either because his legs are weak because he had just rested for a long time, or because of something else.

As soon as they get outside the fence, Anna arrives on her beloved bike.

"Sir Ryan! Nathan Mas!" anna exclaimed when she saw the two figures were there.

Seeing Anna's arrival, Ryan brushed Nathan's hand off and walked over to Anna.

"Sir, what are you doing here?" asked Anna with a worried look. To be honest, Anna was not worried about Ryan at all, but the father who had clearly had a feud with the two men.

"I ...." Just as Ryan was about to answer Anna's question, the man suddenly dazed forward.

Anna swiftly restrained the tall body of the man. Whether she realized it or not, Anna wrapped her hands around Ryan's waist, while the girl's head was anchored right on his chest.

In that instant, Anna could hear Ryan's heartbeat. The roar sounded very noisy, but it was calming. Not to mention the familiar feeling that comes when touching the body of the 34-year-old man.

Anna's riveted. A flash of indistinct shadow suddenly appeared to disturb his memory.

The shadow made Anna flinch in shock and moved away. However, Ryan again pulled Anna into his arms.

"P sir!"

"Please, leave it like this first, Anna. I promise I won't be rude to you."

Anna who was about to rebel immediately fell silent.

They had no idea that Dirno was watching from Anna's window.
