Chapter 8.

Joseph threw his tired body on his soft bed. Both hands are used as pillows. His narrow eyes combed to the ceiling of the room. The shadow of Andini's nervous face when he saw it as if it was printed clearly there. A smile appeared on his lips.

Actually the man was determined not to think about Dini anymore. But somehow his brain and heart could not be compromised ?

It's past midnight. There was no sign that Joseph wanted to close his eyes. He sat down without leaning. Sometimes the head bobbles, sometimes rubbing his face violently. But, the shadow of the face of the cute girl still did not want to go from her mind.

"God, what's wrong with me ? the girl's silly face continues to haunt her. Have I gone crazy ? this cannot be allowed, I can no longer think of unimportant things !" ruffling her own hair.

Maybe because only this time he was close to a girl even though accidentally. Joseph had never before felt attracted to the gentle but debilitating creature, named woman. It was not that she was abnormal, but rather that her heart did not feel touched by a woman as beautiful as anything. Only that cute girl is capable of making her feelings riled up.

The next day Joseph came to the office with a lethargic body. That's because of the effect of staying up last night. The mood is also at a low point. His disheveled face confirmed that the man was upset. Upset at the girl, or at herself who's been acting silly ?

"Sir, your secretary said there's a woman named Yasmin who wants to see you. Isn't she Mr Daniel's daughter ? I'm sure there's nothing important he'll discuss." Willy stood up to his boss.

"Just get him in !"

Willy poked the corner of his lips. Is this really what he heard ? he thought his boss was going to tell him to throw the woman out. Joseph is the type of man who does not want to get along with a woman, especially if there is no interest in meeting each other. But why would he be willing to let that woman into this room ?

Yusuf was actually just curious, why would Yasmin dare to meet him in the office ? and who knows the girl will bring a little information about Andini.

"Okay, sir !" Willy of course complied despite disagreeing.

Not long after, a girl sauntered gracefully into the CEO's room. Willy stared dislikefully at the actually sexy and attractive figure. He thinks Yasmin is a bully to his master. While Joseph was still sitting on his seat of greatness. His eyes were staring at the computer screen.

"Willy, can you just leave us a minute ?"

The assistant slightly bowed and whispered, "Master, sorry ! do not do anything unimportant !"

Joseph said, "Leave my room now !" his emotions are currently unstable.

"Good !" although it was hard to step, but the man obeyed his master's orders.

Yasmin smiled triumphantly. He felt very special because he could easily meet the handsome man he was looking for. Especially now that there were only the two of them there.

Joseph looked intently at Yasmin. "Please sit down, miss. Tell me what do you want to talk to me about ?" the girl complied and sat down on the chair directly opposite Joseph.

His hands were shaking from nervousness. With a sweet smile, he looked at the perfect-faced man. It's really beautiful !

"Sorry sir if my arrival bothers you. I'm here because I want to invite you in person, to attend my birthday tonight." Shamefully she said while bowing her face.

"All right ! I will try to be there. Where did the show take place ?"

Yasmin sparkled, "In Kencana Hotel sir. Thank you very much. Your arrival means a lot to this show."

"Hmmm. I have a meeting soon." Joseph looked at the watch in his hand.

"Alright sir. Excuse me !" Yasmin immediately stood up and extended a hand wanting to shake. But the man before him was reluctant to reply, returning to focus on his computer screen.

Yasmin stepped away feeling somewhat embarrassed. I'm too aggressive maybe. May master Joseph not change his mind to come to my party !

Joseph is interested in attending Yasmin's birthday party. However, it was because he wanted to meet again with the catgirl. His heart is getting stingy !

At the hotel where the event took place. Joseph combed in all directions. Who else is he looking for besides the cute little girl ? but there was no sign of his presence. Is it possible that there were so many people there that Joseph's eyes could not reach him ?

Mr. Daniel introduced Joseph as a special guest on his daughter's birthday, with great pride. In the presence of friends and family, it will make his self-esteem high. Joseph paid no attention to what the man said. His eyes still swept across the room. He whispered to the assistant standing next to him. "Will, that girl isn't here. Could it be in the midst of the guests ? please have your men look for him !"

"You sure sir ? sorry, didn't you tell me to prevent you from doing anything unimportant ?" Willy spoke with a low head.

Yusuf who was upset because he never saw Andini's face, is now increasingly angry because his assistant did not directly obey. "Will, this is very important. You don't know if I'm worried right now ? either way, Andini should be found quickly !" although with a low tone, but it was clear if the boss was angry.

"Okay sir !" Willy passed away after bowing respectfully.

What is important ? why should the girl be sought ? what happened to Joseph ? he never worried about anyone other than his family.

Willy contacted his confidants to immediately carry out the duties of his master. After being traced to all corners of the room where the party took place, there were no girls with traits like Andini.

Willy whispered in Joseph's ear, "Sorry sir, the girl named Andini is not here. It seems he's not coming."

Joseph should not worry about the girl. Andini must be in her employer's mansion. Maybe they are already in dreamland. But his feelings only grew riled up. He imagined the girl kuel was crying alone there, because it was not included in the luxurious event of his employer.

"I have to see him !" Joseph stepped quickly away from the insignificant feast. Willy followed behind him. The assistant was very confused by Joseph's strange and exaggerated behavior. Just this time he witnessed the silliness of his superior.

Both are in the car. Joseph sat down unsettled. Her face was as tense as a mother searching for her missing child. "Will, can it be faster ? I can't wait to see that girl ! if something bad happens to her, then I won't forgive you !" the screams from master Joseph made his assistant even more astonished.

"Okay, sir !" Willy carried the car faster at the order of the king.

Andini cried in her room. Every spoiled miss celebrates her birthday party, the girl is always alone in her blind bed. Other workers were allowed to attend the event.

Hugging tightly to her own knees, Andini spilled all her sorrow. Alone and never wanted his presence in this house. Only her mother gave her genuine affection. However, that figure was no longer in this world.

All the memories revolved around his head. A cold childhood without parental warmth. Sometimes he feels he shouldn't have a father. It's better if his father is dead. Maybe at this time at least he will not be trapped in a big house but full of pain in it. It was all the man's fault ! but, the other corner of his heart had already loved the real father who had never admitted it. He was able to survive in this house in order to hope that one day his father could change.

"I envy Yasmin. She always gets the attention and affection of her parents. I don't want the luxury Yasmin has. I just want to be embraced and loved sincerely." Long time that girl was so happy.

At a time like this, there was nothing he could make friends share. No one wants to look at her or ask her why she is sad. Loneliness has been a part of his life since childhood.

It's enough Andini, why are you crying ? that won't change things. Better just fill your stomach than just rowing !

The girl smiled crazily. He laughs at himself. In this sad time, can you think about eating ? but it's true too. Better to eat as much as the host is not here.

Andini wiped her tears and went to the kitchen. Just about to grab some food, the doorbell rang.

Ahhh ! stomach, I have to open the door first !

Andini stroked her stomach that had shrunk from hunger. He stepped into the main door. When the door was opened, his eyes were perfectly rounded as he saw a familiar figure before him.

With a forced grin, he tried to say. "Sorry sir, all my employers are not at home, there are events outside. You better go home again !"

"Anyone in this house ?" Yusuf dyed.

Why ask that ? what is he planning ?

Joseph shook his waist in light of Mr. Daniel. It turns out his guess is right. Andini is alone here and lonely. That guy is really insolent ! it's evil to leave Andini alone.

Willy who was standing behind him could only let out a long sigh. I can't figure out why his master's attitude could turn out to be ridiculous.

Joseph chuckled, "Don't lie ! your eyes are still red and swollen. There's even water left in the corner of your eye." Gently rubbing shocked bulging eyes belonged to Andini. Heart melos. Why must this shitty guy do it ? why not his father ? no ! Don't think about it anymore ! it would make her sad again and cry again. Wouldn't that be so embarrassing ?!

"Sir, don't you have any other job other than to be the one who knows ? you better now go home to your habitat !"

Willy was furious to hear the girl say rudely to her master. He took a few steps to be at par with Joseph. He looked at Andini sharply. "Please take care of your attitude and words !"

"Will !" Joseph looked at his assistant. That means an order to keep Willy quiet. Willy bowed then retreated and stood in his original position.

"You sure you're okay ?" Joseph looked back at Andini's face.

Suddenly the room was dark. Not even the whole room in the house was glowing. The electricity suddenly went off.

Andini was hysterically screaming. "Ahhhh, please !"

Joseph was panicked because of the sound. He immediately reached into the phone from his pants pocket, then turned on the flashlight from the sophisticated object.

The light is focused on the Andini. The girl was still hysterically hiding her face on her knees. His body was trembling in fear. Joseph crouched down and immediately hugged her. There was a feeling of wanting to protect the girl at this moment. "Calm down, I'm here !"
