Like Rubbish
Chapter 4.

The whole family hugged Khaira when they got home. They cry because they worry about it. Oma Merly was speechless to see her grandson.

"I'm sorry, I promise I won't do it again. Mom and dad didn't know about this, did they ?!" Khaira lowered her head.

"Of course not. Brother purposely kept this a secret from them. Brother doesn't want them sad." Joseph answered.

Khaira cried again remembering the figure of her parents. If they were here, it would definitely feel disappointed and sad to see one of the girls in this house have done something inappropriate.

Khesya hugged him, "Have not cried. You're still a crybaby like a child. Let's clean your body and change your clothes. You stink so !" covering his nose with both hands.

"Yes you are ! I'm not that way !" still in tears, Khaira slapped her twin sister's shoulder slowly.

At a time like this the figure of Khesya rame is indeed effective in relieving tension.

One day passed. This afternoon in Joseph's room there was Mr. Irwan. He came back to ask for an opportunity to repeat his presentation that failed completely yesterday.

The fat middle-aged man sat facing Joseph. Willy stood next to his superior, looking at Mr. Irwan intently. He wanted to know if the man had been fluent in speaking or was still stammering like yesterday ? but when viewed from the look on his face, it seemed calmer.

"Sir Joseph !"

"Call master Joseph ! my boss is very young if called father." Willy interrupted.

This was not an order from Joseph. Willy took the initiative himself. He didn't like it at all if his boss was called that. Impressed older. It would have been better to hear if Joseph's boss had been called by the master. More stylish and honorable. But Joseph did not care about that. To be called sir or master is no problem for him.

"Sorry Mr. Yusuf. I'm here to apologize because I made a lot of mistakes yesterday. If you're willing, then give me a chance." Mr. Irwan squeezed out his cold sweaty fingers.

"Talk you better today than yesterday." Joseph looked at the man closely.

"Today I was so nervous." Mr. Irwan looked down.

"Now you are still shaking. Take it easy, Irwan. I won't do anything bad to you. Please if you still want to say something. I still have time before the meeting with the client."

Somehow the smile that appeared on Joseph's lips even made him more nervous. "Sir, you must have known if we have pure copper that costs much lower than other companies. That means your company will profit greatly if it supplies copper from us."

Joseph listened carefully to every word that came out of Mr. Irwan's mouth. However, he has not responded.

"You won't regret working with us. I can guarantee that." Talking with fire. His eyes sparkled when he met Joseph.

The CEO of the Angkasa Group Company had a glimpse of his watch. There was still time to talk to the man before her. "I certainly know it. In fact, I also know that the miners in your place are only paid very little. Though they have worked very hard and even bet their lives. Don't you empathize with them ?" the word struck sharply at the heart of Mr. Irwan.

"Look sir, I will reconsider our cooperation if you provide a decent wage for all your workers and employees. Remember, your company will not go forward without them. Maybe in your eyes they are very low. But their hard work is one of your success factors. They are part of important people. So give a decent reward for the effort and hard work of your workers."

Mr. Irwan flinching. Joseph said, "If you do what I ask, I will reconsider our cooperation. And I will give you a reasonable price for copper from your company. If there's nothing else you want to say, then I assume we're done."

"Okay sir, I will carry out your advice."

Yusuf was satisfied. He looked back at his watch. Mr. Irwan knows it's time he said goodbye. "Thank you for your kindness, Mr. Joseph, I'm sorry." the man stood up and bowed respectfully, then passed.

Willy also bowed politely, he intended to let you know if the meeting would be held soon. But Joseph had already moved from his seat. "I already know." He stepped quietly followed by his assistant.

***

A rather overcast morning. The sky was dark as if it was sad. Making the atmosphere at a funeral feel more sad. Silence, everyone was crying in silence. Staring fixedly at a grave where in it fell asleep the figure they loved. The headstone reads Hans Hadi Wijaya's name complete with the date of his birth and departure. For a year he left this world. However, the grief still felt tight in the chest.

Ms. Merly and her daughter-in-law and grandchildren are there. Together to give prayers for peace Mr. Hans there. Only Joseph was not present. He had deliberately come the very last so that no one would see his tears of sorrow. The whole family understands his attitude, no one has any objections to it.

After all the people had left, Joseph appeared there. Wailing sadly the ground that buried his grandfather's body. He rubbed the headstone gently, as if he was rubbing Hans opa's head.

Although it did not make a sound, but the clear circles that continued to pour from his eyes showed that he really lost Mr. Hans. The person who always supported her. Even the deceased is also a place to complain when he misses his mother's father.

For almost an hour he crouched in front of Mr. Hans's grave. His feeling was more relieved, his longing slightly reduced to his grandfather's figure. Joseph stood up and began to step. After a few steps, he stopped. The roaring sound of a girl hugging a headstone, made him curious.

Joseph turned his head, he could feel for himself the pain of losing a loved one. That was also what the girl was feeling.

"Mom, why did you leave me alone ? let me live with a father who never wanted my presence in this world. My life suffered a lot. I'd better catch up with mom." He pulled out a small knife from his bag. Preparing to stab the sharp object into his stomach.

Joseph ran towards him and tried to grab the knife. The little girl's hand was quite strong. Perhaps the power becomes very great because it is driven by lust and mind.

"Dele ! who are you ? don't interfere !"

"Hey, miss ! think clearly ! give me this knife !" joseph finally took it. He threw it as far away as possible. But the girl still had dark eyes. He was trying to find a sharp object that he thought could deliver him to his late mother.

"Stop ! don't let lust fool you !" Joseph grabbed the girl's hands.

"Go away ! I don't need advice from a stranger !" meronta wanted to escape but she lost her balance and fell backwards. Automatically, Joseph's body was dragged and pierced the girl's body.

Their eyes meet. The girl's body was trembling. He immediately shouted. "Please ! please !"

The girl sat down and glared at him, "You're a fraud. You just pretended to want to help when you had a perverted mind. You're a rapist**a !"

"You, you crazy girl don't know thank you. You don't slander recklessly !"

"You crazy, perverted-brained man !" he stood up and ran.

Joseph immediately went and chased after him. He was afraid that the foolish girl would commit suicide again. Such a crazy girl would definitely try again to end her life.

The girl tried to revolt when her hand was again grabbed by Joseph. "Dele ! I'll yell again if you're still insolent !"

"Heyyy heard the stupid girl ! I have no intention of messing with you. I'm just afraid you're acting reckless again."

"Why would you interfere ? that's my business ! you don't find any reason to touch me !" still trying to escape.

Joseph finally took off his grip. He was offended by the girl's words. Is this a reply because of his good intentions ?

"Sound miss ! you've misunderstood. I'm not a pervert !" Joseph immediately stepped up leaving the still-sullen girl.

It's not good to see that crazy, perverted-brained guy getting angry. Maybe he was wrong for thinking bad. If he meets again he will be determined to apologize and say thank you for trying to wake him up so as not to make an effort to eliminate himself. The girl left the tomb and walked in search of a passing ojeg.

Joseph watched and followed him. He was afraid that the girl would be reckless again. I don't know, he wouldn't have calmed down if he wasn't sure that the crazy girl would be insyaf.

Yusuf stopped his car because the ojeg that followed also stopped right in front of a park. He got out of the car and followed the girl to a small lake.

Heyyy, is that idiot gonna jump into the lake ? you reckless bastard !

Joseph took the girl and sat her down on a bench not far from there. He didn't care if his back kept getting hit with the girl's tiny hand. "Heyyy let go !"

"Shut up and sit there !" Joseph stood before him.

"You perverted man ! turns out I was right, you have a brain. You must have followed me. I'm sorry that I was thinking about apologizing to you if we meet again."

"Listen ! I'm not interested in being a pervert with you at all. I just want to make sure that you're no longer determined to end your life."

"really ? what's the evidence if you're not gonna do anything ?"

"Think clearly, miss ! if I'm a criminal, then I've been doing it since the grave. Have you ever been in a glass anyway ? who wants to pervert a cute girl like you ?" Joseph scrunched the base of his nose.

I am really cute and not interesting at all. That's a fact but why does it still sound painful ?

The girl pouted and lowered her face. Joseph sat down to reduce his sense of shame. He was not feeling good because his words offended the girl next to him.

"I'm sorry if I accidentally said rude. Look, lady, I followed up here and lifted your body away from the edge of the lake, because I just wanted to prevent you from killing yourself again."

"So know ! who wants to jump in there ? I'm afraid I'm drowning." Talk but don't look at the man.

I knew that I didn't have to lift her body. Even though small, it is still heavy.

"But when at the tomb you also dare to want to eliminate your own life ?"

"That's why I'm khilaf. No need to worry about me ! we don't even know each other."

"But I still can't be indifferent if someone tries to kill themselves in front of me. If you were in my position too, would you have the heart to let that man take his own life ?"

The girl shook her head. "I would do the same. Sorry for misunderstanding. And thank you so much for helping."

"Next time don't make a fool of it again. Promise God and yourself. Remember, problems must be faced, not avoided !"

Joseph moved from his seat. "You'd better go home because it looks like it's going to rain soon. I'm first !" he was wearing sunglasses tucked in his shirt pocket.

The girl nodded. He stared at the back which was getting away from his sight. There was a sense of awe tucking in his heart at the foreign man. This time he got the attention of others. He often got it from his late mother. Another corner of his heart slipped. Why isn't his father being considerate ? why even the stranger he just met who cared about his life ?

His tears flowed with the rain. But he didn't move. Letting her tiny body be flooded with sky water. If as a child he did this to play and have fun, but this time he did it because he wanted to cover his cries.

The girl continued to cry until she did not notice the presence of someone beside her. The stranger stood beside him.

Why is there no rain on my body ? is the rain still raining ?

"Heyyy stupid girl ! you're not a kid who still likes to play in the rain, are you ?!" Joseph looked at the girl. While he himself was already soaked.

The girl looked over, "You ? why come back here again ?"

Joseph was confused why he wanted to go back to the lake and make sure the crazy girl was okay ? he was even willing to get wet for the sake of covering the girl's body ? has he gone crazy too ? he should have left the foreign girl alone. Isn't he not a child anymore ? but she's a woman. It might be dangerous to leave it alone. If there's a perverted man how is it ? he would feel very guilty if something bad happened to the girl.
