Weddings

Father, Mother, and Ronny rushed to put the items that had been purchased a few days ago into the car. My sister's wedding reception was held on the same day so today was so busy.

The marriage contract will be held at 07.00 so from 03.00 we have to prepare to leave for Teny's house.

"Oh my goodness, Danny. Quickly change your clothes! We'll be leaving soon!" sahut Mom when tidying batik scarf that she mengalungkan.

"Everyone else is leaving this blind morning?" my many.

"You mean Aunt Ecka? We all picked her up. Siman is also coming. While the others will follow."

I'm wearing a long checkered zebra-patterned shirt covered in my favorite black jacket. If I wear a formal suit like Ronny it's too complicated.

"Danny! Hurry on! We can be late!" sahut Ronny in the doorway while fixing the tie and black suit he wore.

"Yes, I'm ready! I'm ready! Wait!" soon I ran towards those who had been standing outside the house.

We headed straight to Aunt Ecka's house to pick her up.

"Ron, I'm sorry! I can't come to your wedding! My boss didn't give me leave. Change it after work I'll go straight there, okay!" ian said with a cheerful smile.

"Yes, it's okay. But you'll come!" ronny Pinta.

"Sure!"

"Danny, where's the address of Nekala's last village?" whispered Ian. "Give it to me, let me find it myself first. Who knew the village was located on the path leading to Teny's house. If there's a girl there, I'll pick you up. We're afraid we won't have enough time to find her before this last summer's twilight is over."

I gave him a piece of paper. I saw Ronny hear our conversation and he seemed astonished.

"Rone! The dane! Get in the car!" call our mother.

From the end of the road, there were already several blue tents set up on the football field. The chairs were neatly lined underneath. All dishes are served in every tent. Right in the middle, there is a stage that is quite spacious but not too high. Stage for orchestra players who will perform later.

The atmosphere is so romantic because the wedding reception was held in the open with a backdrop of tea plantations and pine forests.

From behind a room adorned with beautiful colorful plastic flowers, came a beautiful creature that my brother loved so much. Her hair was purposely made to wavy with strands of jasmine flowers hanging beside her head. The white dress she wore was studded with beaded trinkets that shone as she stepped towards Ronny.

"You're so beautiful, Teny," said Ronny, kissing his arm.

Time shows at 06:15.

Bored of it I decided to look into those tents.

"Danny, where are you going?" ask Siman.

"I want to take a look" I replied.

"I'm coming along."

We were both walking around Teny's house. I walk the path to the tents that have been installed in the field. I could see from the street, the banyan tree that scared me to death. The tree was still towering in the middle of the sloping vegetable fields. And behind him, it was clearly a stretch of tropical rainforest.

When we saw the girls of Teny's age tidying up the layout of the dishes in the tents, our other brothers came. Iza, Rhinna, Khyun, Ricky, Winny, and Sudra. They come with their families.

A black-coated father came out of a silver sedan. From his appearance, he was like a feather.

We all went to Teny's house.

In front of a small table, Ronny and Teny sat side by side while the ruler was in front of them.

"Ehem! Let's just start, yeah!" the ruler closed his mouth that was beating. "Follow my words!"

"Brother Ronny ...?" the guy looked at my brother.

"Rockmann. Ronny Rockman" said my brother.

"I married and I married brother Ronny Rockman bin Septy Rockman to sister Teny Cartica bint Wally Sundante. With a dowry of 99.9 grams of gold, paid in cash ..," said the penghulu.

My brother imitated her smoothly and eventually they had legitimately become husband and wife.

Teny kissed Ronny's arm and he kissed him on the forehead. They both smile. Stare at each other. Happiness that cannot be said with words.

The party begins.

The orchestra players began to act.

They played the music of Nobuo Uematsu entitled Vamo' Alla Flamenco & Lost of Me, followed by Naoshi Mizuta's music titled Mhaura, music of Kumi Tanioka entitled Rulude Gardens, and some famous classical music.

It was still early in the morning but almost 80% of the invited guests had attended. They sit on chairs while eating dishes while accompanied by melodious classical music.

Most of the invited guests were friends of my parents who were all famous entrepreneurs, artists, and artists. So even in the entertainment election my parents were very attentive. Orchestral or classical music is music that is very liked by all of them.

In the middle of the show, Ronny and Teny suddenly went on stage and sang a song called Eyes On Me.

They sing together while dancing. I can't imagine if I sang there. Embarrassing. My brother looked awkward, but his voice was melodious. I just figured out now why Ronny always sings to himself when he's in the shower. Apparently training for this.

To Teny's family and the villagers around, this kind of marriage seemed unusual. Or weird.

The show was well liked by the guests. All the guests applauded at the romance of the two of them.

"Dane, here, will you?" tanya Iza offers a glass of drink.

"Thank you, Za."

I drank it too.

"Za, please play Fanze. I'm going to see Ronny first!" his first brother, Dhinie.

"Sir Iza! I want some ice cream, please get it, dong!" pinta Fanze's.

"Take it yourself! You can too!" gusar Iza's.

"Already, Za. Just get. Poor him," I said.

From afar I saw Siman talking to a girl in the corner of the field.

The girl was always hiding behind a tree. Look at people dressed in black suits.

"Shan, let's not be ashamed. Just come here. Your family must be invited, right?" ask Siman.

"No. I am not a citizen of this village. I'm just passing by here to go back to my village" replied the girl.

I looked at his face. Looks ordinary. No prettier than the girls who were standing behind the dish table. His long black hair covered both ears. But her eyes are so beautiful. It's golden brown.

"What's your name?" I asked as we stared at each other. "I'm Danny Rhamdan."

"Shanty Andrean."

"So, I heard you're not a citizen here. So where's your village?"

"Below there" point him to the dense trees under the giant banyan tree.

"Fanze, get going! Don't follow me! You're just troubling me. I've already got your ice cream! You go back there to your mother!" irked Iza who was kept by his nephew

"I'll tell Mama!" threaten Fanze's.

"Say there! I don't care!" then Iza approached us with Fanze behind her.

Iza examined the entire body of the taller girl before him. Pay attention to every detail of his clothes that are very contrary to what he wears. Iza is like a king's daughter or a beautiful doll from France. Her hair was neatly wavy, her clothes were colorful, and her rendition skirt was fitting for Iza's petite body. That girl was nothing compared to him.

"Dane, we're going there, yuk!" invite Iza to appoint other brothers who are gathering.

"You go first, Za. I was chatting with Shanty" I said.

Iza looked back at Shanty's face. He looks jealous on his face.

"It's okay, Dane. You just go. I want to go home, too" said Shanty.

"Want me to take you?" haggar Siman's.

She smiles. Little laugh. "You're weird, huh? Don't you know who I am yet? It was as if I had known him for a long time. I don't need you to take it. I'm a regular. You're busy at this party anyway?"

"The busy one is Danny's brother and two parents, not us" Siman said. "Let me drive you home" he continued teasingly.

Siman seemed to like the girl.

I looked at my brother in the crowd of people shaking hands with them. In the other corner all my brothers are eating.

"Dane, you wanna come, don't you? Take a trip to Shanty village. Who knows if there's something interesting" asked Siman.

"Can. Your village is next to that forest, isn't it? I've wanted to see him for a long time. From here the forest looks very beautiful" I said.

"At this time the forest looked beautiful. But, I suggest you don't go there alone. Especially if it's not our villagers" he said. "If you want to see my village, I'll show you."

"Are forests dangerous?" my many.

"If the day does not. But from afternoon to ...." Shanty. "Just don't go there."

It makes me suspicious. Don't-don't .. I was silent for a few seconds.

"Hey? Hola! You why?" shanty asked waving his palm before my face.

"Oh! Nope, no. Shan, I'm good," my reflexes smiled nervously.

I'm still thinking about it.

"I'm surprised at you, Dane. You always make me curious. You have a problem. What's your problem?" ask Siman in wonder.

"I told you I can't say it now. One day you'll find out for yourself to believe" I replied.

"Just whatever. I don't care much either!" sergeant.

I responded with a smile.

"Yes already then. Let's just take a walk to Shanty village!" bring him.

"Dane I'm coming, yeah," Iza pinta.

"But not that your brother told you to look after Fanze," I said.

"Ah, let it be! He always troubles me!" sahut Iza while staring at Fanze.

I saw Fanze's eyes start to water.

"Don't cry, Fan. Iza didn't really say it. You don't bother her, really," I said trying to comfort her from crying.

"Already, Za. Poor Fanze," said Siman to Iza who looked annoyed. "You can come with us but please get better with Fanze. And take her."

Iza exhaled with a reluctant look. "All right! Here Fan!"

I felt like Shanty was watching my face. And I'm sure he smiled at me.

"Well! It's nine o'clock! I have to go home! So you didn't see my village?" tanyakanya.

"certain. Come on!"

"Man, wait," I said pulling his arm. "We don't stay there long."

"Why indeed?"

"I have an appointment with your sister."

"Yes. We'll be back here again later."

Along the way, Siman's face looked cheerful. He kept asking and acting silly in front of Shanty. Laughter rushes from our mouths every time Siman is funny. A great way to soften a girl's heart.

The road to the village was difficult. And it turns out that the village is farther away than I thought.

Houses in the village are still untouched wall walls and ceramic floors. Everything is a stage house. The walls are made of bamboo cubicles and wooden floors. The only modern one is the glass next to the door. Once I thought this was the village I was looking for, but it turned out that this village was different from the village in my dream. There's no electricity here. And that tubular house I didn't find.
