Getting Stuck in Fear 1

I don't know where I am right now. As I recall, after school I went straight to bed.

If this is a dream, why does my arm hurt when I pinch?

Both my arms were filled with black liquid. I don't know what it is but it smells fishy like blood.

My eyes rolled around. Apply it a few times until my originally blurred vision began to appear clearer.

I found myself standing on a lump of rock in the middle of a wilderness I did not know. The trees stretched as far as the eye could see. Seemed random, various types of trees stalked each of these sloping land gaps.

Plenty of black ashes scattered everywhere. Cover every leaf of the trees and make them dark black.

The sound of footsteps came closer. As I began to look for the origin of the voice, a pair of arms slashed out between my waist and arms, then hugged my body from behind accompanied by a whimpering voice that he could not bear.

I took off both of his arms that were coiled in my stomach. Looking back to examine his face carefully. His hair was red and seemed disheveled. Just like his dirty body, a fishy smell of blood mixed with sweat, mud, rusty metal, and female perfume emanated from the wounds all over his body.

I tried to raise his head that had lowered earlier. His face was covered in tears and blood.

His face I can't see clearly.

Looks faint.

Blur.

But I'm sure she's a girl.

My eyes paid attention to the detail of the girl many times from head to toe. There's nothing I can remember more.

I couldn't see his face more clearly than this. All I could record in my head was the figure of a red-haired girl in clothes that were too complicated to remember.

I've never met that girl before, but, it seems like she knows me well.

Both of his rough palms, squeezing both of my hands tightly.

He shook his head many times.

"Danny .. Not Danny! I beg! Please don't leave me!" whispered raucous.

Trembling he bit his lower lip so hard that a drop of blood flowed down the corner of his lips.

Who her?

I don't understand what he's talking about.

Why does he know my name?

His body was shaking violently and his fear could not be dim at all. Defeated the sudden seething cold and the gnawing pain all over his body.

I wanted to talk to him but somehow this mouth won't open as if it's locked by time.

Unbeknownst to me, another arm had coiled around my stomach like a snake.

Kupandangi.

The arm is jet black.

His thin fingers were almost like bones covered in a piece of skin.

Both of his arms were wrapped in ragged black cloth.

The strange creature who was behind me hugged my body tightly. A little claustrophobic but somehow I didn't try to let go at all.

My body, suddenly lifted from the mound of stone that I was treading. Floating in the air and slowly, I was taken flying backwards by him.

"No! Nah! Danny, no! What are you doing?!" racau the girl.

Hysterical.

Trying to clutch back my hands that were detached from her.

I'm unmoving.

Just accept with resignation what happened.

This thing, it's making me more and more distant from the girl who's constantly yelling my name.

I can feel the warm body of this creature making my soul calm and peaceful.

What is this creature?

Is he human?

If he was human, there was no way he could float like this wind.

But, if he's a supernatural figure, a ghost, why don't I feel the slightest fear?

Instead, I felt happy, relieved as if I had managed to solve a problem.

My head is looking up. The ragged black hood that covered his head waved in the twilight breeze.

I tried to look inside her face covered in the shadow of her black hood. All I could see from there was a pair of glowing blue eyeballs with flat black pupils like cat eyes. The color of his eyes is exactly the same as mine— except for the pupil of his cat.

The girl ran after us— chased after me and the creature that took me. While shedding tears, the girl kept shouting my name.

I don't know what to do. It seems like the girl is worried about me. He kept running and did not care about his own body being covered in injuries.

Is he trying to save me?

Is this creature that brought me so dangerous?

Am I someone very important to him?

But if he is a part of my life, why do I not understand and do not want to reach for the arm he stretched out on me?

The further I was carried drifting backwards by this black creature.

A path, found in the middle of the wilderness, is now fading. Replaced by a flat land of rocks that looks like a field. And he led me to the end of the stone field that I thought was the top of a steep cliff in the middle of the mountain.

The girl is still chasing me.

Even though he fell, he got up, and got up again trying to reach me. The incisions on his previously closed leg were now reopened and blood melts soaked the stone floor of the field.

"Danny! Danny's! Don't leave! Don't leave me! There's another way. Don't do that! Trust me! Danny!" the pekiknya not always shed tears.

I really don't understand what's going on here.

Is it possible that he is the key to the answer to all this?

For a moment I was silent in great concern.

Are all these events that I think are absurd hinting at something?

When the peak of confusion was in the crown, I could not think clearly about everything.

I tried to give my hand to the girl. Hope he can give you the answer to everything that's going on here. But, just as he was about to reach for my finger, he fell. Falling from the edge of the cliff to the bottom of the abyss is very deep. Her screams were heard shrillly deafening my ears and then replaced by the familiar voice of an adult woman in my ears.

"Danny! Danny's! Wake up!" my mother woke me up from my strange dream world. "It's noon. Quick shower! You'll be late for school, again!" he ordered while opening the window curtain of my room that still looked dark.

"Yes, Mom. In a moment," I refused, and yawning closed my eyes again and pulled the blanket over my toe.

"Come, get up! You're not usually lazy like this. Don't let you be late for school! Hurry up and get ready, Ian will come!" mother grumbled step out of the room.

While yawning, in a half daze I stepped towards the bathroom by the side of the room. I washed my face and I looked at my face in the mirror.

I am often surprised whenever I look at my own face. It was like looking at someone else's face in the mirror. My father, mother and brother are citizens of Java Island and are of Indo descent. But I don't understand why my face is Japanese-Dutch, snow-white, and Cat Eyes eyes are bright blue. My whole family has night-time eyes. And my body is too tall for a 16-year-old Indo.

I always thought I was an adopted child?

Whenever I asked my parents about it, they would deny it and say that my eyes had a disorder. An absurd explanation in my opinion.

With a sense of laziness I rushed to take a shower and put on my school uniform quickly. Short sleeve blue shirt, red tie, moss green sleeveless sweater made of wool, red tie, the knee-length shorts are brown with many pockets on either side as well as a pair of black shoes made of glossy leather that is as tall as a can. That is the uniform that is required to be worn by all students of Cerenity Albian High School. One of the leading schools in Vanjava City.

"Danny! Hurry on! Ian has arrived!" call Mom from downstairs.

"Yes, Mom! Wait!"

A bag of my textbooks was placed on my shoulder and I immediately went down the stairs.

"Mom, I'm leaving now!"

"Breakfast first."

Scroll wall clock. "I'm late."

I hurriedly finished a glass of milk at the dinner table and picked up a piece of sandwich for me to eat on the way.

In a hurry, I ran to the front door. Jumped to sit in the back seat of my cousin, Endycian, who had been waiting since.

"Peasiness, eh?" tanyanya gave me a helmet.

"so. We'd better get going. My teacher this morning wasn't so much fun."

Ian turned on the bike. It immediately darted so fast that I almost fell backwards if I did not hug it tightly.

Ian is 20 years old. Just like my own brother's age. Now she works the morning shift at a large company called KIE LIGHT CORPORATION. A well-known company that produces items ranging from household appliances, clothing, medicine to weapons of war. A nice company, he said, because he only works until one o'clock in the afternoon with a hefty salary.

Fortunately my school was a few kilos away from where Ian worked, so I hitchhiked with him. The distance between my home and school is far away. About fifty kilos a meter. Passing through the two part cities of Vanjava City, namely Den Lag, the district where my house is located and Albian, the Albian Cerenity High School district is located.

Java Island is unique, there are a collection of districts in a city. Like a state, it's just on a smaller scale.

I'm more familiar with Ian than Ronny—my own brother. Now Ronny works at an automotive company in Vereyon, another part of Vanjava City. So I couldn't be delivered by him because our directions were different. He rarely comes home. Especially tomorrow Ronny wants to propose to his girlfriend. I wouldn't be able to ask for a little help like dropping me off at school with him like I used to.

On the way, I ran into Ian's younger brother, Siman Chachyan. She was a year younger than me, but she could ride a motorcycle as big as her own.

"Man, are you leaving?" ask Ian.

"Yes" he answered. "I first, yes," he said, leaving us.

My cousin did not attend CA High School with me. He said it's too far away and he thinks my school is too strict its guardianship looks like a prison.

Siman attended 37 Prakhala Vanjava High School. With the messy hair and pencil-style High School pants that are again model this season, he still left school without fear even though I know that he has been scissored several times by school guards.

Siman does always talk politely to people older than him, but beyond that, he's a little mischievous. He was always racing on the streets and sometimes racing motorcycles with his friends. Unlike his older brother who was very authoritative and wise.
