I haven't seen Sandekala around me. Iza and Iza went down the riverbank.
"Fance! The fanze!" yelled Iza called him.
He's so worried.
"Although I often scolded and made Fanze cry, I loved her very much. He's still my nephew, anyway."
Tears that had been held back had finally flooded his cheeks.
"We'll definitely find Fanze! Don't think negatively! He'll be fine. Let's go find him again!"
We're moving upstream. Suddenly, from the river, we heard something.
Sound of drum.
The longer it becomes clearer.
In the distance, something was seen in the river.
A bunch of teenagers on a raft.
Tabuhan gendang talu more obvious.
They're moving towards us.
"iza! Hurry up we hide!" I said pull his arm.
We both hid behind a rock.
That drum gave me goosebumps. His voice was like a traditional music show that was thick with a mystical aura.
I'm holding Iza. Closing his mouth with my hand so he wouldn't make a sound.
Slowly we peeked at them from behind the rock. The raft they were riding on was moving with the flow.
I look at all their faces.
Autistic.
The jet-black eyes were like demons.
There was something in the midst of the six tributaries. Three children and one of them was Fanze.
"Fance!" peekik Iza's.
He broke out of my arms, stood up, ran, and threw himself into the river to save Fanze.
"Za! No!" my yelling.
I don't know what to do. This fear still holds me. I see Iza as having trouble swimming as if the river is very deep. As far as I know, it's no more than a knee.
When my fears were hard for me to get rid of, Iza was there fighting to save her own niece. He doesn't care about all his fears. He managed to grab the raft. But, a child threw himself into the river and pulled Iza's feet. Trying to drown him.
"Arggghhhh! Help me!" he was trying to get to the river surface. "Dane!"
I'm chasing them. In my fear, without thinking any more, I immediately jumped into the river.
A strange thing I cannot believe.
This river is not shallow.
I can't see the basics.
Everything is pitch dark.
As if it had no basis at all.
For a moment I was really amazed to see it.
I saw from within the river, the boy continued to pull Iza's feet into the depths. I immediately swam and tried to help her. Pulling Iza from his clutches.
I tried to let go of the hand that was tightly grasping Iza's leg. I punched the boy in the face many times and he finally let go.
The boy sank to the bottom of an invisible river.
We immediately went to the surface. Swim towards the raft to save Fanze.
There's another weirdness there.
Fanze and the other two children were hypnotized. From then on they did not move. Standing like a statue in the middle of a raft while accompanied by a terrible drum. In my brain maybe that sound is what makes Fanze so unconscious.
We're tired of swimming after rafts that are getting farther away.
"We're going ashore! We're after them from the ground!" I said.
We swam to the edge.
In front of the black forest.
I don't give a shit.
Maybe my fear has started to diminish because now all I think about is saving Fanze from the siege of those mysterious children. If my mind is clear, I will not stand in front of this open black forest. Because the real danger that threatens me is here.
Iza and Iza ran after them.
The river is quite heavy. The raft is going faster.
"Fance! The fanze!" yelled Iza continuously calling out to him.
We've run hundreds of meters trying to keep chasing them. Nekala village has been passed by us. We're moving downstream.
I see the river getting more shallow. It was visible from the rocks on the clear riverbed.
The raft stopped.
We ran in the river which is now only a foot deep. Suddenly, they stopped the drum beatings. And slowly the raft began to sink to the bottom of the very shallow river.
We both ran as fast as we could before it was too late.
Those creeks will take Fanze and the others to drown with him.
"You devil children, release Fanze!" yelling Iza pulled Fanze's already half-drowned body to the bottom of the sand and gravel in the river.
The tributaries refused to let Fanze go. They tried to hold her body tightly. The other two children drowned.
We both tried to pull Fanze's body out.
"Fance! The fanze! Be aware!" I screamed in his ear.
I punched the faces of those idiot creeks.
"Sir Iza!" shouted Fanze.
"Finally you're aware too!"
"Sister, where am I? I'm afraid! Get me out of here!"
Fanze was crying hysterically.
We keep trying to pull it. Soon after, Fanze finally got out.
"Quick get the hell out of here!" I said.
We ran away leaving some other children's hands slowly beginning to sink to the bottom of the river.
I don't know where I am right now.
Everything seems foreign to me.
Everything's dark.
The river that we stepped on also changed color to become thick.
We walked down the river bank to return to Nekala village. I felt the village was so far away from us. Though I believe we are about 300 meters from the village.
"Already Fanze. Don't cry anymore" said Iza.
In the sky, ravens floated. Riding around in circles as if hinting at something. A bird feather fell in front of me and landed right in front of my feet.
I finally found a trace of the bird that led me all this time.
"Dane, look!" sahut Iza pointed ahead.
I can't count their numbers exactly. But I saw from a distance they were moving across the river through fallen bamboo trunks and stretched out to form a kind of bridge to the village of Nekala.
The only road to the village has been covered by Sandekala. I should have dared to confront them. But, at this point I really have no guts.
I was caught up in my intense fear.
The longer, the horde grew more and more. They don't all see us. Just walk straight ahead. A long, rusty-looking scythe grasped tightly onto them. A black cloth wrapped around them decomposed and waved as the wind blew.
I was fixedly observing those who numbered in the tens.
"Dane! The dane!" call Iza repeatedly.
"Yes yes What?" ask absentminded. Unconsciously my eyes are watering. "You don't panic! Let's hide before they see us!"
We hid in the cliff.
I put my face on both knees.
Thinking about all my fears.
Iza's phone is ringing. I glanced at. He wiped the water that soaked his phone.
"Hello, Brother? Huh huh? Ian's? Want to talk to Danny?"
Iza gave me her phone.
"Dian?"
"Danny, where are you? We're worried about you!" ian from the end there.
"We're in the river! Where are you now?" askaku.
"We're all headed for the village!"
"Well, don't! Those Sandekalas have come to the village," I panicked. Making Iza and Fanze follow in panic.
"Calm down, Danny! Fear not! Stay right there! I'll help you!" ian said trying to calm me down. "I promise you, Dane!"
Our conversation was interrupted. Iza's cell phone began to break into the water.
"Dane? You're okay, right?" asked Iza worried to see me who had previously kept my face hidden in both hands.
"You're gonna be okay! Soon someone will come to pick us up!" I said.
From the village there was a scream.
Shouts of a girl.
I know that voice.
Shanty.
Slowly, look out of the alcove to see the Sandekalas.
They are no longer on the road. Everyone must have entered the village.
In space, I saw a lump of light that erupted like fireworks.
Whatisit?
Pink, light blue, light green, and golden light fell on the village of Nekala accompanied by a thumping explosion.
"Za, let's get out of here!" call slowly.
We climbed up the ground.
None of them were seen Sandekala.
We'll be heading to the village hall soon.
The village office.
The safest place I thought of.
"Siman, watch out!"
"Shanty, behind you!"
They heard their voices. But I don't know where they are. Their panicked sounds mixed with the sound of explosions and the shrillness of a creature.
We arrived at the village hall. Everyone is there. Our families.
"Mama!" fanze shouted while crying running towards his mother.
"Iza, are you okay?" ask Dhinie.
Iza.
"Oh! Mercifully. I'm so worried about you guys."
"Danny!" Mom hugged me.
I saw my father standing next to me. Groped my shoulder.
I saw Ronny and Teny come to pick us up in the last dress I saw when they both sang.
Rhinna, Khyun, Winny, Sudra, Ricky, and Ian were of course there with their respective parents.
"Danny, are you all right" Ian asked.
I interrupted immediately before he could continue, "This time I feel bad."
I pulled her body to hold her tight.
"It's okay. Don't worry" he whispered through my back.
Like a rocket, the glowing object shot back into space, erupting, and dropping grains of light. It left huge explosions in every corner of the village. But not a single house was damaged by the explosion.
What the hell is that?
From behind the glass door, we saw the light over and over again. Explosions after explosions filled the twilight sky.
From the front, two teenagers seemed to be running towards me.
Shanty and Siman.
"You all right?" my many.
"Crazy! They are all so many!" sergeant Siman gasps.
"It's a good thing my grandmother tried to exterminate them all" Shanty said.
The three of us went back into the room.
At 18:15.
The light and sound of the explosion still looked and sounded great. It's like there's a war or a meteor shower here.
Soon after, the voice finally stopped.
The village is silent.
Shanty's grandmother is coming. His right hand held a stick and his left hand held the creature's weapon.
"Someone wants to see you" he said.
From his words, I could have expected it.
He stood there alone.
I hesitated to approach him.
"Don't hesitate! Fear not! Face all your fears! You want answers to your questions, don't you? Now he wants to talk to you. About all that" whispered Shanty's grandmother.
"But ...."
"He made a deal with me. He won't hurt you. But he wants you alone" he said. "And remember! Don't touch that thing!"
"All right."
I'm stepping forward.
Someone pulled me.
I turned.
Ian clasped my arm.
His eyes indicate not to. Same with my family and other brothers.
"It's okay. I'll be fine" I said slowly and heavily.
I took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.
I walked closer to the creature.
A creature that's been a real nightmare to me.
And now I'm standing here.
Face him.
Faced with all my fears all along.
He's not a pseudo-shadow.
Except for the real person.
And I was expecting a reason from him why he kept messing with my life.
