Light 1: Sandekala

Light 1: Sandekala
Kie Light's

"I've seen your progress so far. You're getting better. This week, you will combine all your exercises. Speed, endurance, and accuracy. And to support that exercise, you need a moving object. I mean this time the creatures are moving," said Sindia.

"Today will be exhausting!" siman whispered to me as usual.

He always complains but always does his best.

"You're all going to practice with this!" the Sindian Sahut opened a cloth covering a cage.

"What's? Chicken?" wonder Siman.

"In this cage there are 12 black roosters. And you're gonna have to catch one of them!" sindia.

"Catch chicken? Is that not wrong, Grandma?" cibir Siman underestimated.

"Why indeed?" tanyakanya.

"For me it's so easy!" siman replied loudly while crossing his arms.

"Man, didn't you know the chickens in this village had any advantages? A year ago Grandma punished me for forgetting to feed her pet chickens. And you know what the punishment is? Grandma told me to catch all of her chickens that had been accidentally released before. It took me a week to catch the chickens. It was also in a state of death," Shanty told Siman.

Siman gulped. "You gotta be kidding me?"

"You hear what Shanty said? It is very difficult to catch these chickens alive. So I'll give you guys a lightening. Use your weapons to kill these chickens. And think of these chickens as Sandekala!" sindian Sahut.

"Do we really have to kill that chicken? Pity me," Iza looked glum.

We all fell silent.

Sindia approached.

"Listen, Son! If you can't do it to the chickens, you can't do it to the Sandekalas" he said. "You understand, right?"

Iza just nodded.

"I'll give you a little time to watch these chickens. Choose one chicken as your target!" sahut Sindia to us.

"I'll choose that big one!" shanty said he kept watching his chicken.

"Which one, huh?" winny asked confusedly.

"Hey there's the smallest! That's it, it'll be easy to catch him!" the word Siman points to the smallest chicken of all.

"All right! You guys picked your quarry? I'm gonna get this chicken coop out!" Sindia quickly opened the chicken cage. "NOW! Don't let your game get away!"

His voice immediately made the chickens shocked and blurred before we could notice the chicken we chose.

"Where are the chickens going?" ask Rhinna astonishment.

"That's right there!" sahut Khyun's.

"Well! That's chicken! Let me catch him!" sahut Winny is after the chicken.

We split.

Slowly settles between the thickets.

I saw something behind the weeds.

I remember well the chicken I chose as my prey.

The white crest.

I slowly approached her.

CLAS I've held tight and ready to lay it on the chicken.

But ...he immediately ran away when I almost slashed his little head.

We ran to and fro chasing the chickens.

I saw Shanty overwhelmed with his hunting. The chicken went up to the tree.

" Down you little devil! I'll kill you!" his rage could not make the chicken come down from the tree.

Out of annoyance he immediately slashed the guava tree with his EDOE.

As the dominoes are arranged then dropped, the guava tree collapsed on the rambutan tree, the rambutan tree fell on the cypress tree, and the cypress tree collapsed on my hens to death.

I can only be surprised to see it all.

I see Shanty hasn't managed to get his chicken. His chicken continued to flee avoiding the sword slash that was pointing at him.

There was the sound of chickens shaking in fear.

"Don't run away!" shout Shanty.

"Wooh! Very difficult!" teny rubbed his sweat from exhaustion.

I saw Rhinna focusing on the chicken. He slashed through the grass that blocked his path. His eyes were only on the chicken until he did not realize there was a low tree branch in front of him and hit his head.

On the other hand, Ian was being played with his own chicken. The chicken was hiding in a fallen tree hole. The head of the chicken went into the hole as Ian was about to behead it but came out again when the sword was lifted. Repeatedly upset him.

Khyun and Ricky quickly fight over a chicken that they think is the chicken.

Ronny and Sudra looked very exhausted. Especially Sudra, for him what is the difference between wearing no weapon. He had to catch the chicken with his hand.

"Danny, lookout!" yell Siman.

He threw his MEG at his little chicken.

The gun almost stuck to my foot.

"Crazy! I didn't expect the little guy to be faster than the others!" said gasping.

Time has passed for hours and only I managed to get the chicken. It might not be fair because my chickens died not because of my own efforts. But, is not the essence of this exercise to get the chickens alive or dead somehow?

I sat quietly beside Sindia. Waiting for the others to see how far they ran after the chickens.

Someone looks from behind the trees.

He approached us.

His right hand carried the surviving black chicken while his left hand carried the Sharp Golden Gun.

"Your house?" my wonder.

"I did it, Grandma!" sahutya cheerful. "And without killing this chicken!"

"You did it! You're great, Za!"

"Thank you!"

"How did you catch him alive?" many wonder.

"Ra-ha-si-a," he said with a smile.

***

At 15:00.

"Grandma, I'm hot, Grandma! Catching a chicken is hard for mercy!" sahut Siman's.

"Okay, Grandma! Why is the training so difficult?" shanty lamented his body on the grass.

And in the end no one managed to catch the chicken except me and Iza.

At 19:00.

"Danny, what are you doing?" shanty asked, peeking out from behind the door.

"I'm learning. You know tomorrow there's an end-of-semester review" I replied, reading a Maths textbook that will be tested tomorrow.

"Am I bothering you? Can I come in? I was lonely in my room" he said.

"certain. Just enter!" I said. I glanced at him, he was sitting on my bed watching the surroundings of the room that looked the same since he last walked into this room.

"Dane, I borrowed a computer, huh?"

I'm nodding.

Sheet after sheet of Math books I read and I memorize the formulas. But I can't concentrate. The noise of the keyboard keys makes me curious.

I'm secretly lyrically on a computer screen covered in Shanty's body.

A kie? Why does he always open the site?

"Shanty?"

"Oh! Dane, you just surprised me!"

"Why are you interested in that company?" my many.

"Do you know what my ideals are?" tanyakanya. "I want to work for that big company. You know my parents used to work there. It would be proud if I could work there too. But ..."

He looks disappointed.

"But what, Shan?"

"One of the conditions must be a High School graduate."

He looked at photos of workers' activities at the company.

Next day.

"Norah! Flo!" call me when I get to school.

"Hey, Dane! Have you learned to repeat today?" ask Flo.

"You're stupid, huh? Danny must have learned!" sergeant Nora. "Dane, you're room 2, right?" tanyakanya.

"Yes! Danny's going to play room with me. You didn't know that?!" sergeant Flo replied.

Nora just growled at him.

The doorbell rings.

"Come, Dane! We're in!" bring Nora.

Flo and I went into room 2. While Nora's in the room next to mine.

"Good kids! Now work on those questions and fill in your answer sheets!" sahut Bu Reini after previously giving us a sheet of Math replicates.

When I looked at the rows of numbers I somehow felt sleepy. A series of numbers seemed to hit my head and sent sleeping pills to my brain.

In that place, I was alone.

The entire body was full of black liquid smelling blood.

I hold my sword tightly.

"He's been waiting for you."

"Who?"

"The King."

A speck of twilight light appeared at the end of the room. Far away at the end of this hallway.

I walked towards the light.

This place is dimly lit.

Four torches were installed in all four corners of the room. There was a burning furnace, a pool of gold liquid, and a lot of rusty metals scattered everywhere.

The entire surface of this room was black like a basement.

At the end of the room was a throne. The carving filled it in detail. Red curtains became the setting.

Something told me to get closer. Step by step I walked closer to him.

Suddenly a wisp of black smoke blew towards the chair and formed a figure of the object there.

I'm not afraid to see it.

I clasped my cracked CLAS tightly.

He pointed.

The more I walked up to him, the more strange things I saw. The size of the creature is not the same as I have often encountered before.

He's four times bigger than Sandekala usually is. And also I just realized that the wooden chair that was sitting on it was very big.

I was only three meters away from him.

"Who are you?" I looked intently at his clear blue eyes even though his head was covered in a black hood.

He didn't answer my question. He got up from his seat and moved closer to me.

"Don't come any closer!" my yelling.

Put my sword eyes in front of him.

My words are not understood.

He kept approaching me.

Inevitably I should attack him first before he attacks me. With both hands, I slapped my sword on his body. But, my sword shattered into pieces as if it was a glass sword hitting solid metal.

"Danny! Danny!" call Flo from behind to wake me up.

"Yes, what's up Flo?" my many.

"You why?" tanyanya whispers.

"Ehm .. I'm fine" I said.

I can't concentrate on this. Finally time runs out with the answer sheet that I filled in originally. Same with the other two subjects.

"Shanty, I'm home!" I said when I got home.

I went straight into the room and laid my body on the bed.

"Danny ...," call Shanty slowly.

"Yes?" manya.

"We have to go to the village now. My grandmother wants to talk to you" she said, looking serious.

"What's up Shan?" ask me on my way there.

"I don't know either. The village chief called me and told me to tell you this, "he replied.

I took my bike as fast as I could.

"What's up, Grandma?" ask me when we arrive.

"That day is fast approaching and there's one more technique I have to teach you all!" said firmly.

"What technique?" ask Shanty.

"Kinzoku Light" he answered. "There's a very heavy thing you have to do in order to get the Kinzoku Light out of the weapon during practice."

"What's that?" my many.

"You can only emit that light when you are on the edge of death, angry, or when your spirit is explosive."

"Without any obvious reason I couldn't possibly be as angry or excited as Grandma said" Shanty said.

"certain. I expected it too. The only way there is to make you angry, excited, or afraid of death. Therefore, I will have a one-on-one fight between you."

"I mean grandma?" many ensure.

"Yes, you must fight each other using your own weapons!" he said while emphasizing that sentence.

"But it's dangerous."

"Right now, don't talk about danger. Because sooner or later death will come to pick you up!" snapped it.

"Mom, should we learn this technique?" ask Shanty.

"Even if you do not learn it, when you fight against the Sandekala later you will definitely be able to bring out the Kinzoku Light. But there is a risk if you do not exercise first. You won't be able to control it."

"How many times do we have to practice that technique?" my many.

"Until you can get it out without having to lure it in first. Like this!"

Sindia smashed the tip of her wand onto the floor. Suddenly a glimmer of light flowed on the head of the stick. Flowing like water towards a single point on it. Gathering on a gemstone. Then a small burst of light scattered out from the rock like fireworks.

"I hope you decide soon when you will learn the Kinzoku Light because this exercise will not be done in the black forest. And this training takes a long time" he told us. "Take your brothers to Cliffe and tell them we'll be training for a week there."

"Sunday?" my wonder.

"Why indeed? That is the shortest time for beginners like you to learn this technique. Can't you guys? Remember Danny! This isn't kidding. You know that, right? If you do not learn this technique, it is better to delay the attack until next year! By having the expertise to bring out the Kinzoku Light is not necessarily you can win. Think about it carefully!" clearly Sindia with a very serious face.

"Shanty, do you know where that place called Cliffe is?" ask me on my way home.

"certain. That place was at the back of Transfranssischo mountain."

"Why did your grandmother tell us to practice there?" my many.

"I don't know myself, Dane. All I know is that place is far away. It took 2 days to reach it on foot."

This morning was so bright. It is a pity that I have to go through this day with a mind full of heavy burdens.

The final semester is finally over. At least one thing that weighed on my mind had just ended.

Today is the first day of summer. It made my heart and mind feel uneasy.

"Shanty!" call me to find him when I get home from school.

"Where are you?" manya I called.

"Me and Ian are at your school" he replied from the other end.

"What are you guys doing there? I'm already home. Why didn't you tell me you were going to school?"

"Later I'll tell you. Now we're in the teacher's room" he said, hanging up the phone.

What are they doing at my school?

I went straight into my room. Directly lay my body on the bed because this fatigue makes me sleepy.

I think I know this place. This is the basement. I know that, because I've been here before.

At the end of the room was a large wooden chair with a very artistic carving set against a hanging red curtain.

I know what will appear on that chair. The figure they call 'The King.'

I know what's gonna happen next. I will fight him with my broken sword.

And I know this isn't gonna work.

I knew I was going to lose.

I slowly retreated, running away from the room before she showed herself.

I heard metal clanking from the kitchen. I slowly opened my eyes and got out of bed.

I saw him cooking. Without greeting her, I went straight to the bathroom. Wash my limp body.

I looked carefully at my face in the mirror. It's been a long time since I've dared to look in the mirror.

I touched my hair, my eyebrows, my nose, my cheeks, my lips, my chin, and every curve of my face. I do look like them, the Japanese man and the Dutch woman except for these two blue eyeballs.

"Danny, get out! Dinner is ready!" he knocked on the bathroom door.

"Yes, wait a minute," after putting on my clothes I headed straight for the dining table.

"So, isn't she home yet?" my many.

"Today he's going home tonight, there's something to do in the office, he said," Shanty said.

"Mc ... Shan?" many doubt.

"What?"

"Tadi ... What are you doing at school?" manya curious.

"I'm going to school, Dane," he replied.

"What?!" my question is frowning.

"Why is your response like that? You're not happy I went to school there?" tanyanya looks disappointed.

"No! Nah! That's not what I meant. I'm just surprised" I replied quickly. "It must be Ian who signed you up, right?" my many.

He simply nodded as he continued to eat a piece of the fried chicken thigh.

"Shan, when do you think I should tell them about the rehearsal?"

"Fine as soon as possible, Dane. Why are you asking my opinion? Is training a problem for you?" tanyakanya.

Not that, Shan. The problem is not with me but with them. It may interfere with their lives, their work, I said in my heart.

"Do I need to talk to them, Dane?" tanyakanya.

"No, let me."
