Prince | Chapter 34
The king saw Prince Erland and Alice kissing in person. Not to crash, but the king just shut up and left the place. However, secretly, the King devised another plan for Alice and Prince Erland.
Meanwhile, Alice tried to release a kiss from Prince Erland and said, “Your Majesty please stop! Realize where we are! Whatever we do will not change the rules of the kingdom. It is precisely His Majesty's actions like this that will make our relationship end faster.”
After saying that, Alice left the Prince of Erland. Unintentionally, she sees Ruby crying with her father.
“I hate Dad! I hate my life, I hate being set-up!” ruby yelled out her emotions.
Ruby's father was very angry and immediately grabbed his daughter's hair and said, “Take care, Ruby! You're a future wife of the Prince. Soon you will be queen of this kingdom. So, throw away all your dreams and study like a Queen!”
Alice listened to the father and son talk, and even more astonishingly, it turned out that Ruby's father burned all the paintings belonging to his daughter.
“Remember, Ruby! Focus on being the Prince's future wife. Forget your paintings!” tell the father before finally leaving Ruby alone with the burning painting equipment.
Seeing that, Alice approached Ruby and quietly gave her support.
“You what are you? Wanna taunt me? Aye right? You must be happy to see my own father tormenting me! I'm like a tool for them!” Ruby hit Alice's arm hard to vent her pain.
However, instead of being angry, Alice actually replied, “Daughter Ruby. If you don't love her, just let her go and chase your dreams. I'm sure Prince Erland will help you!”
Ruby who was about to leave, now turned around and said, “Let go? Do you think I will live quietly without a strong status?”
“Yes, perhaps by becoming empress, you will live a quiet life with the protection of Prince Erland. But, is it possible that the Prince supports your talent if he himself does not want this marriage?”
Ruby stared fixedly at Alice's face which she thought looked strange. Supposedly, the prince's lover was angry or at least mocking him, but in fact Alice seemed to care about him instead.
“Actually, you want me to cancel this matchmaking, or you want me to marry the Prince?”
Alice looked at the princess and answered the question calmly. “Mr Princess, I love the Prince sincerely. Even if I don't marry him later, I will still love the Prince, because I have no reason and special purpose to marry him.”
Ruby was stunned to hear the answer coming out of Alice's mouth. He knew that the playan was not mocking him, but Alice was awakening Ruby so as not to choose the wrong path of her life.

Without any news before, Prince Erland suddenly had to go abroad in place of the King who reasoned ill.
As the Crown Prince, Prince Erland could not shy away from that provision. Whenever the King felt unwell, Prince Erland had to replace the King's duties.
“Alice, come with me!” the Prince said as Alice helped prepare the Prince's need to serve.
The girl nodded slowly. “Your Majesty, I must maintain the attitude in front of His Majesty and everyone. Moreover, now His Majesty already knows our relationship.”
Alice's right. Their relationship is now being watched and will definitely be looking for faults. One mistake alone, Alice could be thrown out of the palace.
The prince hugged his lover tightly. His feelings were not good and his heart was not upset.
Bad thoughts make Prince Erland worry about Alice's safety. “Alice, no matter what happens, do not leave this palace alone! I've tightened your guard. Please wait for me!”
