Alice waited for Erland's opinion restlessly. His hands were clinging to each other and his palms were cold.

The bodyguards who were also watching this scene were already very confident that Alice would fail. Clearly they knew that the prince would not be able to taste the delights of the meal because of the problems the prince had suffered for a long time. Alice will definitely get punished for this.

However, all these allegations did not happen. Prince Erland decided to appoint Alice as a servant who would work in his palace. “You will come to the palace and become my personal servant. But, make sure all the food you cook is delicious and in accordance with my tongue!”

From that day on, Alice ended up working at the prince's palace as part of the prince's palace cook. Although there were many chefs of the prince's palace, but only Alice was assigned to special cooking and deliver her cuisine directly to the Prince of Erland.

While waiting for Erland to eat, she felt like she was going to a cooking audition, otherwise she would automatically be expelled from the palace. However, he never knew the outcome of that assessment because Erland was completely flat expressionless that Alice could easily guess.

That cold demeanor left Alice in trouble and subconsciously made a funny move on her face that was captured by Erland's tail of eyes. In fact, Alice had tried to serve him well, but still Erland's authoritative and cold aura made the atmosphere tense in the room.

‘Did the food really not taste good to the point that it was hard for him to praise my cooking?’ thought Alice who could only peck while waiting for Erland to eat.

He only wanted Erland to say that the cuisine was delicious so that his presence in the palace was more assured.

However, Erland never made any comment. No praise or criticism can be a reference for Alice in processing her food. That makes Alice must continue to hone her creativity to create a new menu that is delicious.

After Erland finished eating, she would leave her mark of eating and leave just like that. It made Alice snort and clean the prince's eating marks while thinking hard.

Alice returns to the kitchen, trying new creations to make food. Facing Erland who is difficult to guess, it must make him work even harder.

While all the waiters were resting, Alice was still busy in the kitchen trying to create a delicious cake like the one she had accidentally watched from the television first.

Erland, who had just wanted to walk alone while enjoying the night breeze, was forced to watch Alice's movements in the kitchen. Of course he did it secretly without Alice noticing.

“Prince!” alice said to the flour dough in front of her.

The voice made Erland frown because she thought Alice was catching her wet. However, the woman's voice further made Erland even more curious.

“Until when are you going to be that cold? Just saying good and not only is it hard for you? Just look, I'll bring you to your knees with my cooking!”

Hearing Alice's annoyed chatter, Erland laughed inwardly. He did not expect that Alice's expression when annoyed could be as adorable as that.

“Alright, Alice. Can you make me bend my knees? Just look, I will continue to put on a cold and unfriendly face. I won't praise your cooking for seeing that tense face of yours is so much fun,” muttered Prince Erland who was involuntarily blushing just because of that servant girl.

Without Alice noticing, Prince Erland was now standing behind her and looking at what she was doing.

“What did you say? I'm being cold?” asked Prince Erland suddenly.

The light of it made Alice jump in shock. He turned around and subconsciously aimed the rolling pin he was holding towards the Prince.

The man turned his head back in surprise at Alice's reflexes. The look in her eyes could not be separated from the object used to roll the bread Alice used as a weapon.

“Your Majesty forgive me!” alice was getting more frightened.

Alice thought what surprised her earlier was a criminal. He didn't know that the Prince would come to the kitchen tonight.

“How dare you, Alice! Have told me, now even want to harm me!” reply the Prince with a tone that sounds resolute. However, the corner of her lips tried to hold back the laughter because of Alice's behavior that was bent 90 degrees.

“Your Majesty, I did not know that His Majesty was coming. Forgive me, because I think there are criminals who broke into the kitchen!”

Alice was terrified. His current position was completely unsafe, but there was just a mistake that made him get closer to the gate of expulsion.

“There are criminals who dare to enter the palace. Stand up straight, and look at me!” the Prince's orders in a firm voice and tried to put on a fierce face.

Although the Prince tried to look fierce, still his handsome face was very difficult to visualize a creepy look. The ones that are even more look dazzling.

Alice complied and looked into the Prince's eyes as instructed. Although the Prince was very handsome, Alice still felt scared because of the mistakes he had made. He should be prepared to accept punishment from the Prince.

“Indeed why if I'm being cold? You have great guts turns out to be brave enough to talk about me with my dough!” sentak Prince Erland.

Alice's body was trembling. He did not expect that Prince Erland had heard his grunts since.

“Your Majesty, I was not accidentally. It was completely unintentional, Your Majesty. Sorry, i. I promise I will never repeat it again!” Alice bowed again.

This time, Prince Erland released a voiceless laugh while throwing his face away. Apparently, pranking Alice could make her this happy.

From that day on, Erland grew fond of Alice. He will put on a flat face as usual. Although Alice's cooking is actually getting better every heart, but Erland continues to be silent without wanting to argue.

For a long time, Alice's heart churned. There was a huge urge within him to ask Erland's opinion regarding his cooking.

Until finally, the woman opened her mouth with a tense face. When Erland finished eating and Alice prepared to clean it, the waiter asked, “Your Majesty, is my cooking not good?”

Erland's forehead immediately frowned upon hearing Alice's question to him. She had not expected Alice to have the courage to ask that question.

“What right do you ask?”

Alice immediately panicked to see Erland's reaction. His nervous face made Erland even more anxious. “Sorry, Prince!”

However, his arrival made Erland throw away his face and immediately stood up. “Clean the rest and do your job as usual!”

“Good, Your Majesty!”

Alice lowered her head. He cursed to himself who was already presumptuous and dared to ask Erland that question. Fortunately, he did not get any punishment for that.

After completing her task of delivering food to Erland, Alice returned to the kitchen to clean the cutlery and also tried out new creations as usual.

But it has not yet reached the kitchen door. Alice heard a less pleasant chat from the other servants.

“Enak once so Alice. He is not the head chef, but always deliver food to the Prince's room.”

“Our older ones here alone have never been in the Prince's room. It's easy for him to trust!”

“Maybe Alice did a dirty way to get a good position here. May she also dream of becoming a concubine when the Prince ascends the throne later!”
