Prince | Chapter 27
“Sorry, Your Majesty! If you can, don't be rash!” said the head of the shadow guard, trying to prevent the Prince from doing anything that would harm Alice.
As a fairly experienced bodyguard, the young man could certainly read the situation and predict what might happen.
The Prince's pair of eyes narrowed and looked at the man with a big question mark on his head. “Why? Wouldn't it be better if we warned him early?”
“Alice's safety could be threatened, Your Majesty. We do not know yet how powerful Princess Ruby is and how it affects Her Majesty. If all this had something to do with His Majesty, it would be Alice ..”.
Suddenly, the Prince realized that something was wrong with him. He realized that Ruby could have thought Alice was complaining to him. In fact, all the information that Pangeram Erland got was from his shadow bodyguards.
“You're right. It seems I was too rash to worry about Alice too much,” Prince Erland said.
The man must find another way to warn Ruby without making the girl suspicious.
“More tighten up Alice's guard, and quickly report anything suspicious!” the prince told the shadow guard.
Before long, the Prince calls Alice to his room after the bodyguard leaves him.
The girl came empty-handed and lowered her head. “Your Majesty called me?” alice asked with a big question mark on her head.
“Close the door, Alice!” tell the Prince with a flat expression.
Hearing the Prince's voice that sounded less friendly, Alice's chest pounded loudly. He thought again about what his mistake was and closed the door carefully.
“From!” the Prince's orders with an annoyed face.
Alice stepped closer to her lover while guessing what made Prince Erland so upset. The girl glanced at the Prince's dining table which turned out to be still intact.
“Your Majesty hasn't eaten yet?” alice asked with a worried face.
He remembered that he had promised to come back before lunch, but in fact he came back even after lunch.
Alice was quite surprised by the sudden attack made by the Prince. However, he remained calm and retorted by wrapping his hands around the Prince's neck.
“What are you doing every day? Busy accompany Ruby, until forgot to serve me?” Prince Erland clamped Alice's chin with his index finger and thumb.
Inevitably Alice looked into her lover's eyes and said, “Your Majesty, forgive me! I'm going to cook now. I ...”
Alice's words were stopped by a kiss so tender. The prince wanted to have a little fun with his personal servant because he had been left for several hours.
Alice seemed to obey and let the Prince do as he wished. He let the man kiss his neck and play with his back. Every now and then, the mischievous hand moved to touch Alice's chest and swiftly the servant stopped her.
“Your Majesty, please stop!”
Alice still remembered her limits. He was unwilling to let the Prince forget the land and might destroy the future of the Crown Prince later.
“I want to go on a date again. How about we invite Ruby, we can watch in the cinema with his help?” asked the Prince who had deliberately provoked a reaction from Alice.
Alice's face became tense for a few seconds. Until finally, the girl smiled and looked at her lover.
“How is it, Your Majesty? The cinema is full of people. Surely they will recognize His Majesty and make a furore. After all, it does not feel good to trouble others for our own sake.”
The prince caught Alice's tense face and realized something was wrong. “What does Ruby bother you, Alice?”
Alice shook her head slowly, but the Prince gently hugged Alice and again said, “Don't lie! I'm your lover, Alice. I will protect you from anything and anyone. You remember my promise, I'll just marry you. So, share your love and sorrow story with me, Alice!”
