Chapters 70. Story Screenplay

“What do you mean, Lady Elona?! This is so crazy! Don't mess around in the trial!”

His Majesty King Valcke exclaimed furiously. However, Elona remained calmly responding to him.

“I'm not kidding, Your Honor. Because only those from other worlds can know if the exhaust gas pipe in my factory is hollowed out and ignited with fire it will burn. Because such knowledge does not yet exist in this world!”

Voices began to echo from here and there as soon as Elona gave a statement. Clearly they would not believe the thing that the girl had just said.

“Quiet! Everyone chill! The trial will not continue if everything is not calm!” King Valcke hit his hammer twice, making the room go quiet again.

“Alright, but I need proof or testimony.” said the king as he scratched his temple. “Can you prove that Lady Kiara is from another world?”

“I have a witness.” said Elona, then her eyes were on Louis Vandyke in the row of audience seats. “I want to ask Louis Vandyke as witness.”

“Good. Louis Vandyke, please advance to the witness podium.”

Louis was obviously not expecting what Elona had just said. Even when his name was called by the king, he could only obey without saying anything. Clearly, his heart and mind were still very shocked to receive all of this.

“Lady Elona Locke, have something you want to ask Mr Louis Vandyke about his testimony?” the king asked Elona.

“Good. Louis, do you remember, when we were walking together in the city of Armelin? Back then, Kiara came to see you.”

“Do you remember, what Kiara said when she heard you rejected her?” ask Elona again.

“What happened in this world, since the meeting of Kiara and Louis at school, is actually part of a storybook in another world.”

“What?! Don't joke, Lady Locke!” His Majesty King Valcke shouted, something that Elona could have expected.

“I'm not kidding at all! This kingdom and the people in it, is what is written in the story book we refer to as webtoon, entitled ‘Cerita Hati’.”

Elona glanced for a moment at the podium where Kiara was standing. Her face was so pale that Elona dared to reveal a secret that only the two of them should have known.

However, Elona did not care enough, and continued, “In the story, Kiara Perez is the female protagonist. Louis Vandyke is the male protagonist. Then I, Elona Locke, was the female antagonist.

The short story is like this. Louis Vandyke did not love his fiance Elona Locke. At the same time, Louis met Kiara Perez who was so similar to his late mother. Various obstacles test their love for the two of them, until they can finally unite and Elona Locke ends up on the gallows.

Since I knew that Elona Locke would end up like that, I broke off my engagement to Louis Vandyke first so that he could be with Kiara. Later, I went to Armelin to seclude myself and build the city. Since I know the storyline, then I came out of the actual storyline!”

The priest of the Grand Magus, whom Stefan had brought from his temple, came into the room in a long white robe and a transparent white headscarf. The Grand Magus is believed to be a divine chosen figure who can purify an area, even seeing the aura of others around him.

“Master of Grand Magus, I'm sorry to call you suddenly as a witness.” said Elona Locke.

“No problem.” the voice of a woman who is so soft and motherly is heard.

Elona Locke opened her voice again, “Do you feel, if there is something different from myself and Kiara Perez who is in front of you?”

The Grand Magus looked at Elona and Kiara in turn, and his gaze was shifted to a court not far from where he stood. The priest closed his eyes for a moment.

“Alright, call the witness to this room immediately.”
