Nine years ago.
"Louis, this is Elona Locke. From today you are a couple, yes." Raul Vandyke said to his only son.
"Come, Louis. Greet Elona."
Lilia clasped her son's hand, taking him forward, the place where a girl in question was. The girl's body was no taller than Louis. Her hair was light brown tied to a braid with bangs that were cut flat. Her fat body showed fat that remained visible despite having been suppressed by the corset.
Louis's little hand was stretched out. "Hello, greetings. My name is Louis." he said.
Louis was so shocked when a second later, the little girl grabbed his hand suddenly, and held it firmly.
"I'm Elona! Greetings! Horee, we're engaged!" little Elona exclaimed, then grabbed Louis by the arm.
"Come, play!" Elona said half-screaming, then pulled Louis' hand towards the rose garden next to the mansion.
"E-eh, wait a minute!" Louis would not want to follow the steps of Elona who ran.
A teenager saw the behavior of Louis and Elona who increasingly ran away. This young man is clearly still very young to wear a shirt and suit like an adult. Holding a marquess post at a very young age made her look much more mature than her peers. Not to forget, a sword draped in the waist.
Raul Vandyke looked at the young man, "Son Stefan, let's go inside" Raul said. Stefan Locke walked up to him.
"From now on, please take care of my sister. He's a very nice boy, and he's very eager to be betrothed to Louis."
"Of course, son Stefan, we will look after your sister like our own daughter" Lilia said as she accompanied Stefan Locke into Vandyke's house.

"Louis, what are your daily activities?" elona asked as she visited Louis at his residence one day, a month after they got engaged. The two of them were taking a walk in Lilia's rose garden.
Louis answered with a smile. "Oh, in the morning I study, in the afternoon I practice the sword, and-"
"Oh, sword! I also like to practice swords. I used to follow my father in sword training with soldiers but he wouldn't let me! But after I cried, my father let me swing his sword and blablabla..."
Elona spoke incessantly like a whirlwind. Louis just kept quiet and listened. The boy tried to be polite and keep listening. Elona continued to speak non-stop.
"If it's a hobby, what's your hobby, Louis?" ask Elona again, as soon as he finished talking at length. Louis was almost sleepy
"Oh, my hobby is to walk into the city and go to the theater"
"I also love going to the theater! My mom used to love going to the theater. Every time there's a new show, I'll definitely take me along to see it! Then we'll go into the VIP room upstairs, and I'll buy my favorite drink, and blablabla..."

The afternoon arrives. Elona and her brother have returned from Vandyke's residence. Louis went back into the house while walking.
It's tired of it. Louis was the first time he had experienced something like this. He just found out that listening to people tell stories about themselves can always be so exhausting. Louis dropped himself on the couch in the living room, and lay on his side.
Lilia went into the same living room and found her son like there was no energy at all. The woman was astonished to see it too.
"Louis? What's up, son? You sick?"
Louis, who saw his mother coming and approached her, straightened up, leaning on the back of the sofa.
"I'm tired, Mom..."
"Racid?"
"Yes.." then Louis told him everything that happened between him and his fiancee Elona, and what they were talking about all afternoon.
"He's like... What is it? Always talking about himself. He asked about me. But as soon as I answered, my words were cut. He always told me about his father and mother, how they treated him and such. I wasn't given a chance to talk at all, Mom."
Lilia looked at her son. Then, the woman stroked his head.
"Louis, here son, listen to Mom,"
Louis looked at his mother. Through the radiance of his mother's calm and graceful eyes, Louis was always able to get peace in life. In the midst of her father's demands that always wanted her to achieve the best, there was her mother who always managed to calm her emotions.
"Darling, maybe you don't know yet, but Elona's already lost both her parents." Lilia said softly.
"Lost?" Little Louis asked not understanding.
"Yes, honey. Both of his parents died in an accident. And Elona became very depressed because of that."
"Oh. I'm sorry, I don't know..." Louis tamoak bowed lethargic. Lilia also raised her son's face just like that.
"It's okay, Louis. From now on, be a good friend to her, yeah. He likes you sincerely. You're a good mother's son, right?"
"Mr..." Louis smiled as he looked at his mother. "Alright, Mom. I will keep him company. I'll try to be a good fiance for him!"
"Mother's son is smart! Here, mom hug!" Lilia held her son in full warmth. After which, Lilia patted Louis' head gently.
"May your sadness and fatigue quickly disappear! Wush!" with a single puffing move, Lilia seemed to have blown Louis' grief and exhaustion in an instant. Little Louis was so happy every time his mother performed the ritual of patting his head like that.
"But if I'm tired of hearing all Elona's chatter again, I can tell you Mommy again, right?"
"May, dear...it's perfectly fine!"
"I love you, Mom!"

Louis took the cup and drank it. A second later, he spouted out his mouth.
"What's? Why, Louis? Not good, huh?" ask Elona. The girl looked very panicked.
"Oh, here..." Louis wanted to tell the truth that the tea made by Elona was very bitter. But Elona was so stammered afterwards.
"I-I'm mi-apologizing... Dad, Mum..."
For some reason, it was precisely her parents who the girl called at times like this. The unkind Louis is finally forced to lie.
"It's delicious, really. Really am! So don't be sad, yeah!" louis tried to calm him down. The girl also returned cheerful.
"really?"
"Yes." Yeah."
The lie that Louis increasingly regretted because in the end he had to always drink bitter tea like that.
And the other lies started happening.
"Louis, I've been practicing so I can dance with you! Let's dance!" elona was enthusiastic. But because of his fat body, he was often unable to hold the balance of his body and instead stepped on Louis' feet many times.
"Oh, yes! I'm tired!" Louis, unable to endure the pain in his swollen leg, was eventually forced to stop their training unilaterally.
Lies after lies keep on rolling. Louis kept everything in check, because at night there was always his mother who calmed his soul and mind.
One day, Lilia Vandyke died of illness, at the age of Louis the fourteenth.
Louis was alone in front of his mother's grave. His eyes were so empty. The only resting place for his life is now gone. The sole tranquilizer of his heart and soul is now gone forever.
"Mom..why go..."
"Louis.." a voice appeared from behind his body. The voice of Elona Locke. The girl was present at Lilia Vandyke's funeral and had not returned home despite the other visitors leaving one by one.
"Louis, I've heard about your mother dying... Don't be sad... Let's go to the park, there you can definitely feel calm."
"My mom just died and you're taking me for a walk?!"
"That's not what I mean... I just-"
"What only? Get attention, huh?? Look, all your efforts have been in vain!"
"But-"
"Don't come near me again! I'm just as disturbed as you are, you know? I'm following this engagement, just because my dad asked for it. So you don't run! Nevermind! I'm so sorry I saw you."
"But.. *hiks* I only have you.. *hiks* Louis... Louis...!"
*****
"Hello, I left my handkerchief there."
A girl greeted Louis who was sitting daydreaming under a tree in his school garden area. It's been three years since his mother died, and today is his memorial day.
The bright blue haired girl pointed to the part of the grass occupied by Louis. The man also lowered his head. It turned out that he had already subconsciously occupied a white handkerchief.
Louis immediately took the handkerchief, then extended it to the girl. "I'm sorry, I've occupied it."
"It's okay" said the girl, taking her handkerchief back. But after receiving it, the girl did not leave immediately. He looked at Louis closely.
"What's up?" Louis was astonished to be stared at like that.
"You're sad, huh? Why?" ask the girl.
"It's none of your business, is it?" Louis responded with a stern response. But the girl was getting closer to him.
"You want what you?!" Louis was confused when the girl was close to him. Then the girl bowed, and reached out to Louis' head.
"May your sadness and fatigue quickly disappear! Wush!"
The girl patted Louis on the head, then made one blowing move. At once Louis was also shocked. It was a ritual to dispose of the sadness that his mother often did to him before he died.
"Oh, sorry! My mom used to do that to me when I was sad. Sorry, I didn't realize I was doing it to you." the girl looked down embarrassed. Then he bent his body.
"Then I go first. See you!" the girl also left. However, Louis stopped his steps and called out to him until he looked back.
"Hey, what's your name?"
"My name's Kiara! From the Perez family!"
"Kiara Perez...?" louis murmured in his heart.
